Name: Vance Bateman
Alignment: Tweener (More face, but has grown stern and hardened with age and experience)
NPC Role: Owner of WZCW
Picture:

Entrance Music:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MabuNr-wQkk

Description: Vance Bateman has a long history being involved in sports and media, starting at a local affiliate station in Reno, Nevada after college as a broadcast tech. He worked his way up to sideline reporter in short time, before being promoted to lead sports broadcaster and taking a role in the company board of directors at the age of 30.

Bateman was a lifelong pro wrestling fan, having watched the legends of old compete in battles of strength and athleticism from a young age. He saved what he could and leveraged his sway to start WZCW after noticing a distinct lack of far reaching professional wrestling companies in the US. Mr. Bateman placed his company HQ in Las Vegas and the rest is history.

Following a high profile feud Bateman lost control of WZCW to Ty Burna (aka Tyrone Blades) and took a hiatus for a few years to scout the world for talent and help set up local grassroots feds all over the world. While control and ownership of WZCW changed hands between Ty, K.O. and Kenneth Banks for the next few years, Bateman continued to travel the world and invest in smaller promotions, helping the sport grow.

After an embarrassing paternity suit, accusations of nepotism, and alleged ties to the mafia, Banks sold his shares of WZCW to go into hiding and be with his son. It was then that Vance Bateman decided it was time to return home to WZCW, now with new ties to promotions all over the world to help expand the WZCW brand.

[RPer's Note: Rpers will need creative's permission to use Bateman in RPs. Simply ask creative and give a quick rundown of your plans and you will likely be approved.]

Name: Chuck Myles
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: General Manager of Ascension
Picture:

https://i2.wp.com/powrestling.info/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/eric-bischoff-696x392.jpg?resize=662%2C373&ssl=1

Entrance Music: "We Built This City" - Starship

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1b8AhIsSYQ

Description: Longtime GM of Meltdown, Myles was unabashedly biased towards the more unsavory superstars of WZCW. Delighting in making the heroes' lives hell, Myles was ultimately brought down and replaced by WZCW owner Vance Bateman. However, with the debut of Ascension and the need for more control, the Board of Directors opted to bring back Myles in his old position - GM of Meltdown. Since his return, he's sported the same cockiness that was his trademark in the past, and he looks to be every bit his old self... until he sold his share of the company to Ty Burna, becoming a talent liaison for Ty and taking care of the newly produced Aftershock show.

He remained in this position until Ty took over the company, relieving him of his duties. Myles came back for a 3rd time, reinstated as GM of Aftershock thanks to the new owner, Chris K.O. who defeated Ty Burna for the company. Thereafter, Myles was removed from his position and spent several years away from WZCW. K.O. sold the company to media mogul Kenneth Banks shortly after to focus on his in ring career, but Myles was not rehired at the time.

On Meltdown 142, Myles returned to WZCW and his position as the General Manager of Meltdown following injuries sustained to Vance Bateman, thereby making him unable to continue his role.

Chuck Myles started to realize the errors of his old ways, realizing that power had gone to his head and slowly started to have a change of heart, showing more compassion and sympathy toward superstars and fans. When the board of directors decided to shake things up by re-implementing the brand specific titles, Myles was shifted to Ascension, the original home of the Elite Title as it was under Myles' eye that the Elite Title grew to the heights it did.

************************************************** **

Name: Rebecca "Becky" Serra
Alignment: Twenner (More heel, but shows a soft side to certain veterans)
NPC Role: General Manager of Meltdown
Picture:

http://ethnicelebs.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Maria-Kanellis.jpg

Entrance Music: "Legs" by ZZ Top

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUDcTLaWJuo

Description: Don't be fooled by her stunning looks - Serra is as smart as any other employee in WZCW when it comes to the business and can manipulate her personality & situation to benefit herself.

For a majority of her career, Becky was one of WZCW's most notorious interviewers and earned a lot of respect from her peers for being very polite and approachable. Her hard-work eventually earned her a spot on the Aftershock commentating team where she never missed a beat. After being recognized for her skill, WZCW Owner Mr. Banks awarded her the GM seat for Aftershock, and then to Ascension where she would show her true colors and begin making some controversial decisions, causing the fans to turn on her.

As the first female General Manager in history, Becky isn't looking to break down barriers but rather do whatever necessary to rise the ranks and gain power within WZCW.

Serra's propensity to use her charm and looks to her advantage has gotten her in hot water more than once, as she has been caught in inappropriate relationships with more than one WZCW superstar. Despite the blatant violations of WZCW corporate policy for upper management personnel, Serra never faced serious repercussions, at least in public.

Behind closed doors, it appears whatever punishment Serra faced had some slight impact. She maintained her "bitchy" personality, but began to display a softer side to veteran superstars who she could relate to, having seen their struggles to break the glass ceiling. When the board of directors decided to bring back the brand specific titles, Serra was shifted to Meltdown. The belief was that Serra would be more in touch with a younger crowd and help the status of the EurAsian Title grow, just as she has grown in her WZCW career.

Name: Jack Cohen
Alignment: Heel
NPC Role: Color Commentator (Meltdown & Ascension + PPV Events)
Picture:

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/jCVxe7exEE0/hqdefault.jpg

Entrance Music: "On the Run" by Judas Priest

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8unMi5p5ro

Description: Formerly known as Jacob the Magnificent, Cohen was a notorious rule breaker and cheater in the 80s and 90s who traveled across the independent circuit in search of fame and glory, at any cost. He amassed a large collection of independent championships in his tenure, before a back injury in 2000 forced him to retire. He continued touring the country, taking autograph signings, before opting to become a commentator where he worked for various independent federations, before eventually coming to WZCW. His bad guy attitude from wrestling has carried over into his commentary work, and he always pushes for the men (and sometimes, women) that remind him of his old days in the ring. Despite this, he has shown on more than one occasion to show some disapproval for superstars who go too far, or threaten his broadcast partner Sebastian Copeland, with who he maintains a mutual respect and underlying friendship and on more than one occasion Cohen has been the shield for Copeland when the action gets too close to the commentary table.

Jack has always held a negative opinion of popular superstars, such as Titus and Everest who achieved more than him, and displays a real disdain for goofy superstars such as Mikey Stormrage.

Despite his biased opinions on how wrestling should be conducted, he is considered the "voice" of WZCW as Jack sits at the commentators table at the company's two biggest shows, Meltdown & Ascension, as well as apart of the 3-person team that calls the Pay-Per-Views.

**************************************************

Name: Sebastian Copeland
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: Play-By-Play Commentator (Meltdown + PPV Events)
Picture:

https://ringthedamnbell.files.wordpress.com/2018/07/mike-tenay.jpeg

Description: Sebastian Copeland comes from a long career of sports broadcasting, a former professional football play by play commentator, as well as hosting his own radio show in the past. He made the transition to wrestling not long before WZCW began, calling matches in various independent federations before stepping up the big leagues. He's called the action alongside his partner Jack Cohen for the duration of WZCW's existence, with a soft heart for the good guy and will always be ready to condemn the rule-breakers.

A consummate professional, Copeland is often the butt of jokes from his on air foil, Jack Cohen, who often calls Copeland by his nickname "Seabass." The two maintain a mutual respect and friendship, even if Copeland comes off as a Boy Scout compared to the rebel Cohen.

Despite his professionalism, Copeland holds a not so hidden fandom of Titus and often finds himself rooting for the underdog in big moments.

A reliable member of the WZCW announce team who won't be going anywhere any time soon, Copeland loves the business and, in his later years, has grown passionate about the company and always aims to do his best to excite the viewer (casual or hardcore).

**************************************************

Name: Catherine "Cat" Connor
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: Play-By-Play Commentator (Ascension + PPV Events)
Picture:

https://hollywoodmask.com/uploads/images/georgie-thompson.jpg

Description: Longtime host of sports news shows, as well as various radio shows and calling professional sports games and matches, Catherine Connor was hired by Vance Bateman to take over Sebastian Copeland's commentary duties on Ascension. Her commentary tends toward the fair and balanced but will have her own personal bias when calling the matches: she roots for any of the females working in the mostly male-dominated business and will always take the opportunity to ridicule or joke about either Cohen or Copeland, respectively. Despite these negative qualities as a professional commentator, she is the glue that holds the commentating team together during PPV's and will put Cohen in his place should he get too vocal.

As Connor as grown more comfortable in her role, she has let her guard down a bit and allows her fandom to leak into her commentary more often than Sebastian Copeland, though she remains very professional.

She held a soft spot for Eve Taylor and shares a friendship with backstage interviewer Stacey Madison.

Name: Leon Kensworth
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: WZCW's Top Interviewer
Picture:

https://dodoodad.com/uploads/2017/07/news-todd-grisham-leaving-wwe-1326889016-1.jpg

Description: Leon is the most popular and most notable personality in the company, known for tagging along with WZCW members on wacky adventures just for the sake of capturing an interview on tape. He may not speak out much nor is he comfortable performing discussions outside of a WZCW arena but he sure can draw the best out of the wrestlers and can hang with the best of them.

If you need someone reliable to get the job done, Leon is your guy.

In recent years, Leon has branched out into some on location work, and while he does his best to maintain his professionalism, he often finds himself in compromising and unfortunate situations, often the result of the superstars he travels with.

**************************************************

Name: Stacey Madison
Alignment: Heel (With a face attitude toward women)
NPC Role: Standard Interviewer
Picture:

https://dodoodad.com/uploads/2017/07/cut-1.jpg

Description: This fiery blonde interviewer is all about appearances - she will sacrifice the early hours of the morning to make sure she looks like a supermodel no matter the occasion whilst delivering some of the most hard-hitting interviews. It's not her passion for the business that drives her to dig deep in her interviews but much rather her brash and selfish personality. She doesn't care what she says nor does she care what nerves she hits, Stacey is here to challenge the wrestlers in a war of words during her interviews and does her best to make sure she comes out on top.

More than once Stacey has used her charm to get close to male superstars and get the scoops that her male co-workers could never get. It hasn't always worked in her favor, but few are bold enough to go to the lengths that Stacey goes to get the answers she wants.

She will never pass up a chance at a fancy drink or a cheap shot at a superstars appearance.

**************************************************

Name: "Big Johnny" Klamor
Alignment: Tweener
NPC Role: Standard Interviewer & Colour Commentator (Aftershock + Pre-PPV Events)
Picture:

https://www.tampabay.com/storyimage/HI/20170918/ARTICLE/309189406/AR/0/AR-309189406.jpg&MaxW=1200&Q=66

Description: You thought Jack Cohen was the only person with an old school mentality? Think again!

"Big Johnny" has never done anything other than tangle with the stars around the world, working for various international tabloids & newspapers, ever since his early 20's. If you needed someone to get up close and personal with somebody, Klamor would never hesitate to put his hand high in the air and was always causing a stir in the tabloids himself for getting too rough with his words. In his later years, Johnny jumped to the professional wrestling world and has kept this same mentality within WZCW. However, his self-arrogance and his portrayal of himself to be a "ladies man" has made him an easy target to ridicule, getting very defensive to protect his image.

With the debut of Aftershock, Klamor received the role of color commentator for all other shows that Cohen was absent from and provides a more laid-back light-hearted version of himself compared to his interviews.

As Klamor has gotten on in age, he has more of an unseen backstage role, though he still makes the occasional appearance on pre-show panels and special ceremonies.

Name: Jun Akiyama
NPC Role: Senior Official
Picture:

https://pm1.narvii.com/5985/35411e8ca32ee184fecf9b40090b119bdef0d955_hq.jpg

Description: Akiyama was brought into the company to enforce discipline on the WZCW refereeing corps and instruct them in the ancient art of officiating. He is universally respected throughout WZCW, and only the most heinous of foes would dare cross him - making him an excellent candidate to call the most high-profile matches the company has to offer. Legend holds that he is a former World champion himself, though he never speaks of his past (when he does speak - a rarity for Akiyama). No matter what, Akiyama will always wear his signature red gear in the ring and will never officiate without them. A veteran of many promotions all over the world, Akiyama isn't afraid to get tough with rule breakers and those who try to pull the wool over his eyes.

**************************************************

Name: Keith Morse
NPC Role: Referee
Picture:

http://getlostphotography.smugmug.com/Other/2011-04-15-Chikara-King-of/i-m7K7X4C/1/L/dpp_0253-L.jpg

Description: Keith Morse has one of the most laid back demeanor of anyone on the WZCW staff, no matter their position. Morse was a former independent wrestler, though he mostly worked as a comedy act at county fairs and VFWs. He transitioned to a referee at the suggestion of Jack Cohen, who was visiting an old promotion he was champion for. Morse considers himself one of the boys, but don't let his attitude fool you, Morse isn't afraid to get physical with any superstar who breaks the rule. More than once he has drawn the ire of Jun Akiyama by physically removing foreign objects from superstars.

**************************************************

Name: Elizabeth Prince
NPC Role: Referee
Picture:

http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa28/shimmerwrestling/shimmer2/D2L_0559-1.jpg

Description: WZCW's first female referee, Prince doesn't think of herself as breaking down barriers, but just as another professional doing her job. She might not have any strengths or weaknesses as a referee but this "Jack of all Trades" official always makes the right calls without hesitation or doubt, earning her a higher degree of respect among her peers.

**************************************************

Name: Felix Springfield
NPC Role: Referee
Picture:

https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/postandcourier.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/3/07/3078d3a5-631d-587d-89c0-18a87ee04e3c/580506692a283.image.jpg?resize=400%2C461

Description: The referee with the best hair in the business, Felix Springfield is WZCW's newest referee hire. After Katie Shepard left to pursue a career in film, Springfield was brought in from a small time fed in Northern Las Vegas. Springfield moonlighted as a singer on small stage shows on the nights he wasn't dawning the stripes, and his flamboyant style carried over into his in ring duties. He tries to steal the spotlight each time he steps into the ring, often overshadowing the stars of his previous fed.

************************************************** ******************
Name: Michael Raymond McRae
NPC Role: Referee (Special)
Picture:

https://image.ibb.co/bMn4bL/McRae.jpg

Description: McRae is the official referee for Mayhem matches, including being the roving referee during the 24/7 reign, and comes highly recommended. This Irishman has a knack for tracking people down; whether they're in a boiler room, a water park, or on top of a redwood in Northern California. If there is a match outside a WZCW ring, McRae will be there. Unlike the other officials in WZCW, he condones weapon usage because it takes him "back to a special time in his life". An intimidating man who sits by himself in the referee cafeteria, McRae does not play. Rumors abound that before he became a referee he was everything from a bounty hunter, to a soldier of fortune, to a deathmatch king. No one knows, and no one dares to ask.

Name: Mac "Rush" Colville
Alignment: Tweener
NPC Role: Pre Show Panel Host/Special Broadcast Host/Occasional Commentator
Picture:

http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/pictures/s/sid/32.jpg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDN4awrpPQQ

Description: Mac Colville, who goes by the name Rush, is a WZCW alum who recently returned to the company at the Greatest Grandest Lethal Lottery for one last shot at glory. Always a threat and a longtime mainstay on the upper part of the card, Rush once suffered a heart attack mid match and was forced to step away from the ring. After some time away he came back and established himself with an impressive run with the EurAsian Title. He later challenged for the Tag Title with Sam Smith, but they fell short and Rush decided it was time to step away. After an impressive performance in his brief return, Vance Bateman offered him an on screen role as a host and panelist. He brings expertise few can offer after a long in ring career, and while he favors big powerhouses due to his own style, he has a keen sense of ring awareness and an uncanny ability for predictions.

Name: Truman Harrys
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: Ring Announcer (Meltdown + PPV Events)
Picture:

https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/296402660/ECWTonyChimel.jpg

Description: Harrys has been with WZCW calling the biggest shows since the incarnation of the company and is generally regarded as a company-man, stating many times that he will remain with the business until his retirement. He might be passionate inside the ring but outside, he lives a quiet life with his loving family and never talks too much about his personal life.

Harrys is known for his trademark style of drawing out the names of reigning champions in his introductions.

**************************************************

Name: Selena Anderson
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: Ring Announcer (Ascension & Aftershock + Pre-PPV Events)/ Sings national anthems
Picture:

https://bloximages.newyork1.vip.townnews.com/postandcourier.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/9/1a/91a297e4-70d1-11e8-ba40-97e58879852d/5b2412497f645.image.jpg?resize=400%2C400

Entrance Music: "What I See" by Lacuna Coil

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJjrRoe47TY

Description: Probably the only person on the roster who sings her own entrance theme, Selena was a former model and aspiring singer before she took her beautiful looks and lovely voice to the wrestling business, calling most of the events that WZCW host across the world. Her father was a professional soccer star, so she was used to travel and cameras being everywhere so she was a natural in front of the tens of thousands who pack WZCW shows. To this day, there is nobody that sings the national anthems better than Anderson does.

**************************************************

Name: Bob
Alignment: Face
NPC Role: Backstage Worker
Picture:

Description: WZCW, like most other wrestling feds, are filled with unnamed backstage workers and ring techs. Bob is the exception. For some reason, bad luck just seems to follow Bob wherever he goes. Despite being a very competent employee, Bob is often in the wrong place at the wrong time. Despite this, Bob seems superhuman or indestructible, having survived accidents that no mortal man could.

Name: Finton McClain
Alignment: None
NPC Role: WZCW Head Physician
Picture:

https://us.123rf.com/450wm/kurhan/kurhan1501/kurhan150100544/35128260-african-american-medical-doctor-man-isolated-white-background.jpg?ver=6

Description: Finton McClain is the longtime WZCW head physician who is trusted with handling the aches, pains, bumps, and bruises, the superstars suffer. One of the best sports doctors in the world, Finton rarely makes on screen appearances, and when he does it is usually just quick status updates with Leon on injuries suffered during shows. Regardless, he is trusted by all the talent to keep them in ring ready condition.
