After winning a fatal fourway elimination match on Raw last night, that went well over 20 minutes for some reason and has been ridiculed on social media, Natalya earned the #1 contender's spot and will face off against Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam.

In the post match promo face off between Becky and Nattie, they added a little heat to this program with Nattie actually dropping a dirty word and referencing Becky Lynch's sex life in an attempt to at some edge to this program. They're going to need that, plus just about everything they can possibly do because it's the only remotely possible way this will be the least bit interesting. Natalya is basically the den mother of WWE's women's division, she's been there for over a decade, she's ALWAYS done whatever's been asked of her, she always does press interviews, always does meet & greets, etc.. and she'll have a job with WWE as long as she wants. Nattie has always been good in the ring, we really only had a chance to see how good during her brief time down in NXT years back, but the woman has no real charisma or personality to speak of or, at least, we haven't seen it so far.

Another drawback to this program is that even if they do succeed in making people wanna see it, there's no chance of Nattie winning. IF reports are true that WWE hopes for some sort of singles match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey for WrestleMania next year, then Becky isn't dropping the title until/unless WWE gets confirmation that Rousey won't be part of WrestleMania next year. Rousey herself has stated she and her hubby want to start a family and WWE isn't pressuring Rousey into anything, at least I haven't heard or read anything to suggest they are. My guess however, is that WWE will be expecting an answer from Rousey shortly after the beginning of 2020 and before the Royal Rumble so they can start setting things up; if so, then I'd say the earliest Becky has a shot of dropping the title will be at the Rumble next year as they're gonna keep her looking strong in case Rousey is up for a 1 on 1 bout for WrestleMania.

Natalya isn't interesting. I want to like her, but what exactly is there to like?

Becky wins fairly quickly, and then Ronda attacks her... maybe.
