Hey everyone! Its King of the Ring 2019! Isn't that exciting? A return to the old classic that gave us such gems as Kings Mabel and Ass (y'know, the good ones!) sees a crowded field with a lot of potential for a) quality matches and b) some truly crowning moments (ugh, I know). Let's have a look at the bracket shall we?

Tonight sees Cedric Alexander take on Sami Zayn as both men look to regain momentum after slumping to losses of late and in a real doozey of a match, Samoa Joe takes on Cesaro in what is sure to be rough and tough stuff. Exciting! However, the tournament isn't the only kingly thing on Monday nights as King's Court returns once more as Jerry Lawler plays host to a recently returned, re-energised Sasha Banks. No doubt "The Boss" has some choice words for Natalya and more importantly RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, both of whom fell victim to her wrath last week.

In other news Seth Rollins was nearly the victim of a beatdown at the hands of the (still ridiculous sounding) OC when Ricochet Braun Strowman made the save! Seems like the "Monster Among Men" might well be next in line for a shot at the champ and his big jam belt. I mean, Braun always seems to get the September title shot (seriously, think about it) so why not keep the tradition going? Will we see a development in this friendly rivalry that makes it a little more... unfriendly?

I watched the opening until I saw Dolph Ziggler was going to wrestle. I watched the last three minutes and saw the Universal Champion is now also tag team champions with a man who couldn't make the Summerslam card.
