This bout was one of three announced on last night's episode of Raw with the Women's Champion of each brand facing off in a threeway dance at SummerSlam.
This match suffers from the same drawback as every other Survivor Series match: we're suddenly supposed to care about some brand rivalry that's completely nonexistent the other 11 months out of the year. At the same time, the novelty of this match is that NXT is now being involved and while this won't feel so fresh if they do it again next year, it gives the match some extra juice as it's become tradition for all the champions of Raw and SmackDown to face off against each other.
This match is really anyone's, though I think the natural inclination of a lot of fans is to go with Shayna just because of the novelty of NXT being involved. Given that the whole notion of brand supremacy is nonexistent outside of the one month out of the year in which Survivor Series is promoted and takes place, neither Bayley nor Becky Lynch really loses any sort of face if Shayna walks out the winner whereas it'd be a major career boost for Shayna, who last week celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the beginning of her 2nd run as NXT Women's Champion.
