That's right it's time to look back at the best and worst of 2019. For those of you unfamiliar with how we did this back in the day, I'm looking for nominees in the following 19 categories. You can nominate as many things as you want for each category and on January 10 I'll group them together and open a poll for each. Then you can vote on them all and we'll see who wins (or in some cases lose). These are rather informal so have some fun.

Worst Match Of The Year: Seth Rollins vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell - I know what they were going for here but it just simply didn't work. It was a lousy idea from the beginning, it was lousy in execution and it embarrassed everyone involved from the referee to the wrestlers themselves. The only one who thought what went down here was a good idea was Vince McMahon, he wouldn't listen to what anyone else told him and the result was a match that lowered the stock, temporarily, of both wrestlers and very much hurt the mystique of the HIAC concept itself. I mean...HIAC matches are supposed to be uber-violent and you don't just stop HIAC matches for brutality when the spots and attacks aren't particularly brutal. I mean...over the 22 year history of the match, we've seen people jump from or be tossed off of the top of the cage through tables or the ring itself, people slammed on thumbtacks, put through tables, suffer concussions, dislocate shoulders, legitimately cut open the hard way, etc.. and everything that went down in this match by comparison was just flat out tame. I just can't think of any match in any company this year that disappointed me more than this so, to me, there's no need for nominations.
