How Bad Did It Get?

I had to go with the ending to Rollins vs. Wyatt at HIAC. It was just flat out putrid. There are at least some saving graces, some of them very slight but they're there all the same, about every other angle on the list but not this one. This is one of those instances where it's all but universally expressed to Vince that something is a bad idea, he believes he knows better than anyone and everyone else and does it anyway only for everyone from wrestlers to officials to fans to just about everyone else under the sun hating it and for good reason. It made both Rollins and Wyatt look bad and it made the entire concept of the HIAC match look bad. If you want to make a HIAC match so violent that fans could believe the referee eventually putting a stop to it, then you have to give fans that next level brutality and it wasn't even remotely there with this match. We've seen man thrown or have jumped off the top of the Cell structure through tables, we've seen men go through the roof of the cage, we've seen men slammed onto thumbtacks, put through tables, powerbombed on steel ring steps, etc. and the physicality here wasn't anywhere in the neighborhood. Hell, it wasn't even on the same planet.
