It's been reported that the current WWE United States Champion Andrade has been suspended by WWE for his first violation of the company Wellness Policy. The report doesn't mention what the substance was that he tested positive for but, then again, that's been the same story regarding the last few violations, including Primo and Robert Roode. According to the report, Andrade was informed of his suspension sometime yesterday morning and as this is his first violation, he's suspended for the next 30 days.
It also explains the ending to his match last night with Humberto Carrillo with Andrade receiving a Hammerlock DDT onto the exposed concrete. He'll be written off TV for the next month due to the "injuries" sustained and he'll likely pick up where he left off feuding with Carrillo. I'm glad WWE didn't do some kneejerk reaction and take the title off Andrade last night because, frankly, Carrillo isn't ready to be a champion right now. Since Carrillo won by DQ due to Zelina interfering in the match, that's the other sign that their program will continue.
