It isn't about just the wrestlers. The supplemental talent are almost as important as without them the show falters.

This used to be the Paul Heyman award.

This year it may be a 3 man race, as both MVP and Pat McAfee have joined Heyman for consideration.

I think it still goes to Heyman this year (sorry to my fellow McAfee marks, but that's why there's a commentator award), but not because of his work with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar (that work alone makes him worthy of the award). For me his work on Talking Smack was some of the best stuff on WWE TV all year.

He would be in character, but he was most definitely not always a heel, when he would put over various faces who were getting ready for the push to the main event.

My (very) biased pick here is Pat. However, I really enjoyed MVP with Lashley this year. Paul is probably the front runner, but I'm going with MVP here.

I legit am starting to wonder if MVP can get close to Heymans level of promo. Before MVP and the Hurt Business I don't think that was humanly possible. That's how good MVP is. But the problem is MVP is going up against the man himself.

I'm thinking in 2022 we need to change the award to Non-Wrestler NOT NAMED PAUL HEYMAN in order to make it a competition.

It's Pat.
