Remember back in 2009 when I made my first thread on WZ that absolutely blew up with controversy? I was a stupid 8th grader who had a major crush on a girl.

Some of you gave me advice, and some of you trolled me. Well here's an update for you...she posted her engagement photos on Facebook today, and holy shit did I dodge a bullet! She's 26, but she looks like she's 46.

And me? Well I'm asexual, and have no plans on actually hooking up with anyone. But I finish my masters next month, and I'm finally beginning the process of becoming a foster parent now that I've got a path to a stable career.

It's in Special Ed with a K-12 teaching certification. I'm finishing up my student teaching practicum now for it (as my undergrad is in Psychology so I had to do a student teaching semester).

I don't plan on teaching though. Maybe down the line, but right now I am pretty sure I want to go into more of a social work/advocacy role.

Although I'm sort of waiting to see what happens in today's elections for my state to truly decide. If Mastriano wins Governor in PA, I'm going to be running far away from the education field altogether and abandon ship.
