Inevitably this lands on the pre-show. It's happened twice before on less stacked cards than this one.

I don't really agree with making matches just to get people on the card. I've long wondered why something like Battleground is a more exclusive show than WrestleMania.

I would love to see Rusev not be involved and for him to get a segment instead. As for who else could win, I'm not sure it really matters at this point.

I'd love for Joe to show up and just win the damn thing, giving him something tangible to hang his hat on. In all likelihood it'll be someone underwhelming like Ziggler.

I totally agree with this. I know that everyone works hard, but getting on the Wrestlemania card should be a reward, not a given.

They put everyone on the card because Wrestlemania is the biggest show if the year with the biggest gate, the most PPV buys, and as such the biggest payday of the year. If they hold people out of it, morale in the locker room would go down big-time due to being left out of the biggest payout of the year. How would you feel if you went to your work, and the boss told you that everyone working on a specific day was going to be given the biggest payday of the year, but not you because he just didn't want you getting that. Now you feel like a loser, your peers know your boss thinks less of you, etc.

The Battle Royale is a much better alternative to what they did in years past which was a random massive tag match (hell they did a 7 on 7 match at one point), or a lumberjack match. Plus it CAN be used to get some momentum rolling for whoever wins. Baron Corbin used it to launch his debut, Cesaro used it to launch a singles push (albeit one they held back, but still), hell even Mojo used it for a few months.

As for the match itself, it's next to impossible to pick, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's either Woken Matt Hardy, Brother Nero, or Bray Wyatt post-Reincarnation.

I hope Lars Sullivan enters and wins it. Not as a main roster debut. They always seem to huck the trophy around for the winner but give up on that after a few weeks. Leaving the trophy with a winner in Florida for a while would negate the need to transport. Trophy could do more for a guy in NXT than on the main roater.

Except the WWE is pushing this whole your taking someone else's spot thing with the performance centre/nxt so if you miss Wrestlemania you should look at yourself and push to get there next year. There are plenty of wrestlers on the roster that can fill a spot. Suck it up or go make a living on the indies
