Honestly I'm surprised it's not four. They love to overdo things and who cares if the fans are numb to the matches? Doing the women's match as a co-branded one is the right move though as I don't need to see Sonya Deville and Sarah Logan in a match like this.

With the way things are being presented on tonight's show, it LOOKS like there'll only be 2 MITB matches, one for the men and one for the women and there'll be stars from both brands involved.

They just announced Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz, Daniel Bryan vs. Rusev and Charlotte vs. Peyton Royce in qualifying matches for SmackDown Live tomorrow night. WWE hasn't come right out and flatly stated that there'll be just a single men's match, but it seems to be the case right now.
