It looks like there are two threads. Which one's legit?

This one. KB beat me to it.

Edit - And anyone can make them. Basically whoever does it first counts.

Last week's Raw made me question 24+ years of watching Raw every single Monday. I told myself that if the first half hour sucked, I'd be bailing. Finn makes my eyes roll involuntarily these days, but Braun is always A+.

Got a couple of beers... it's good to be back home, boys. Hope some of the old buds show up. Where's Jiggles at?

Braun has no business floating around the upper midcard. Christ. What a pure champion.

Really good match, especially for TV. And Owens was awesome as usual.

Why is Jinder Mahal still a thing on my tv?

Blame Kevin Dunn.

I'm elated that they didn't have Rollins drop the title. When it was mentioned that today was his birthday, I felt my stomach drop. Vince often likes to have talent lose in their hometown, so the notion of having Rollins drop the IC title to Jinder wasn't far fetched.

All in all, they protected both of them well. You had to guess they weren't gonna have Jinder straight up lose when he has a match against Roman Reigns at MITB. Of course, this gives Jinder a win over the IC champ so expect to see this pairing happen again, not to mention Elias being in the midst. I'm also happy they didn't use Elias to cost him the title. Rollins is hot right now and he has fans eating out of the palm of his hands every week...so...yeah, you just have to feel that WWE is going to screw this up before too long.

Works for me.

Both still aren't much to listen to on the mic, but at least they're moving this away from the avenue of mutual respect and the Public Service Announcement strategy that's been Nia's run thus far.

I feel like that whole segment was a waste of time.

Wait....so does this mean Nia's heel? You don't generally hear babyfaces tell the crowd to shut up.

WWE's best bet would be keeping Nia heel, but don't have her talk much as she doesn't need to. Going the route of her treating Rousey in a sort of nonchalant way...well I can sorta see why they went in that direction but it just fits more if Nia's a badass going up against another badass. Nia's not witty enough, nor does she haver the sort of charisma to pull off the sort of cocky, big mean girl persona they were going for.

I'm not a fan of Nia vs Rousey this early.

If the "hurry and do this before Rhonda takes time off to have babies" rumor is true they ought to have her trash nia then trash whomever cashes in that same night.

What the fuck does Stranger Things have to do with Bray Wyatt?

Does Coach know what the fuck he's talking about?

Is the only think he knows about Stranger Things the title of the show?

I liked Nia's talking until Rousey got in the ring. Then it was more forced awfulness. NIce segment though.

Maxel challenged Cole to a match :lmao: I'd honestly watch that if it meant the end of Cole on commentary.

Cole still doesn't get ti, though I'm hoping it leads somewhere. Anywhere really.

Raw is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the tag team scene if they're having Konnor and Viktor give Hardy & Wyatt so much trouble.

Why does Vince so frequently wanna deaden the energy of the show with these lame ass sports entertainment skits like a friggin' barbecue. Oh well...at least it's a step up from beating up crossdressers.

My guess is Natalya costs Rousey the match because she didnt "earn it" and thats rouseys first real feud since shes her real life training partner

Hey the B team have been pretty entertaining the last couple weeks, it might not be bad. Can't be as bad as that Nia/Ronda segment at least.

Oh I dig the schtick of the B-Team but...yeah, it can easily, EASILY be worse than that. I thought Nia/Rousey was a step up from what they've been doing.

I guess I'm just hoping the B-Team comes off looking like someone that can be taken seriously while still keeping their funny antics going. I don't think it's all that hard really. Do the comedy, look like a couple of goofs, but do something that leaves at least one or two of the teams laying.

So, since Cole has repeatedly said Strowman is his favorite, I think it's fair to say that Strowman has little chance of walking out with the briefcase, not that he necessarily needs it.

Owens won a match clean. Haven't seen that in a while. Nice, solid effort from both guys. Too bad he's about to die.

Monday Night Raw
Date: May 28, 2018
Location: The Coliseum, Richmond, Virginia
Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Jonathan Coachman

Somehow there are still three shows left before Money in the Bank so we’re really not close to the end of this ride yet. That means another qualifying match tonight, this time in the form of a women’s gauntlet match. Other than that we get to see just how good Seth Rollins is as he defends against Jinder Mahal. Let’s get to it.
