Wow a talking segment to open the show.

One wonders if they will ever stop finding ways to innovate.

In her accent, I thought Paige said "and the Moon!". Guaranteed winner.

So uh, did Lana go to the Kofi Kingston school of accents?

Naomi....just don't talk.

Yup, full on "Aren't you supposed to be Jamaican?" moment. Frankly it needed to happen for Lana.

The Iiconics were the highlight of the opening segment, they continue to be funny and good talkers. Shame them and Absolution (which is dead but not dead) are doing the job later. Peyton would have been a great addition to the MITB Match.

I HATE THIS FREAKING SONG! LIKE, A LOT!

They own "Ain't No Stopping Me", right?

Working body parts. What a time to be alive.

I'm digging Bryan using the heel hook as a finisher.

Well now I'm going to spend tomorrow daydreaming the plot of Ruff Ruff Ref.

Did we really have to have Lawler on here tonight? Was nobody else available? Just cause it's Memphis doesn't mean we need Lawler on the show.

That felt like it was cut short

Honestly I'd like to see more of it. Not necessarily Jerry, but "guest interviewers" would be great use of local flavour

Meh Renee does a good job and they have a couple other interviewers they could use. But really I just can't stand Lawler.

Referee attacked, Joe/Miz vs. English/Rusev, or just a triple threat?

I agree with you. Why not just use Renee?

Skairipa

The winner of the men's Money In The Bank needs to be one of these 3, preferably Rusev but Joe or Miz would be perfectly acceptable.

I'm all for Renee. No one is putting down Renee. I encourage things being done differently, if it works.

If it works, then sure. No problem with that at all.

However knowing the way most guest appearances in WWE have gone before, I would prefer to not have them at all.

Can we ban the word "momentum" from ever being used on WWE television?

Aiden's taking the bump on Sunday.

See those pancakes?

They're not funny.

Those weren't pancakes, they were burgers.

I wish they would tell us how much the WWE Network costs for new subscribers.

Really surprised they had Asuka tap Mella out tonight, guessing that means Mella wins Sunday. Hopefully not because of Ellsworth.

Smackdown
Date: June 12, 2018
Location: The Pyramid, Memphis, Tennessee
Commentators: Tom Phillips, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton

It’s the final show before Money in the Bank so the focus is of course on Money in the Bank. You know, in case you haven’t had your fill of that just yet. Hopefully we get a few things other than just the ladder match in focus, which is something that Smackdown has done far better than its Monday counterpart. Let’s get to it.
