We're in Buffalo (at least it's not Pittsburgh), and it's the first show after Extreme Rules! Okay I'm not that excited because last night's show wasn't the greatest.

Brock Lesnar most show up tonight, or he'll be stripped of the Universal Title. I'm sure Heyman will have something to say about that.

It’s Buffalo, not Brooklyn.

I mean, he’s getting pretty old.

It should be Lashley, because he went over clean last night. Roman shouldn’t be anywhere near this potential match.

Skairipa

Give us Drew vs Brock, I'd be so down with Drew dethroning him.

Multiman clusterfuck as your main event. Meh.

I would love to see a legitimate explanation to why Reigns deserves a rematch.

Michael Cole just pissed himself with excitement when Roman's music hit.

Roman you've been nonstop complaining about Lesnar for weeks now. You clearly care.

"Because he's the uncrowned Universal Champion and got screwed by a bad ref at Greatest Royal Rumble" is what WWE will tell you.

Also I'd love so much if it comes down to Drew vs Rollins.

So in kayfabe why didn't another superstar walk out there since that's all it takes to get into one of the qualifying matches?

By the rules, he did win that match.

This could be said about many storylines. The answer is: it’s professional wrestling.

I'm almost certain Reigns wins this, but part of me thinks McIntyre has a chance.

And they really should still give this to Lashley.

They should, but Reigns most likely goes over Lashley next week and gets his win back.

Of course Roman won, cause why go with either better option?

BestSportsEntertainer

It isn't even worth getting mad over. Reigns is going to be the face of the company, and we're just gonna have to deal with it.

So if Bayley and Sasha can't get along, one of them is going to have to go to SmackDown?

I'd nominate Sasha given that she's done just about everything on RAW, though a case can be made for Bayley.

Sasha could be the top heel on Smackdown. They need a heel on Charlotte, Asuka, and Becky's level.

Trade Sasha for either Asuka, Charlotte or Becky and that could help both divisions.

To clarify: trades can take place in WWE. Remember that in a few months when someone is floundering and WWE apparently has nothing for them to do.

While Fandango is out can we get a singles push for Breeze? Please?

Breeze must have committed a cardinal sin. Like being partners with someone who got hurt.

Who's excited for Roman getting his win back on Lashley and fighting Brock yet again in another horrible main event?

Monday Night Raw

Now it’s time for a big show with the possibility of Brock Lesnar showing up. With the UFC return looming and Lesnar still as the Universal Champion, there’s a very good chance we’ll find out what he’s going to do next tonight. I could go for having him lose the title on TV but I don’t think WWE would actually do it, even if it would fix a lot of their problems. Let’s get to it.

I just hope that if they meet again, it's more like Wrestlemania 31.

Overall, last night was the best Raw of the summer, a solid B-, maybe a B, in my opinion. Most of the goings on for last night's show had a purpose and was bookended by two strong triple threat bouts.

However, WWE looks like they're basically doing the exact thing I was hoping they wouldn't do, which is Reigns vs. Lashley II in a #1 contenders match. They just happened to take a scenic route by putting in a couple of triple threat matches first with the ultimate result being Reigns settling the score with Lashley next week by winning and getting yet another title shot at Brock Lesnar.

Drew McIntyre looked like a fucking star last night, no if's and's or but's about it. While it may have been too soon to just stick him in a main event spot against Lesnar, I honestly have to say that I wouldn't have minded as it would've felt extremely fresh. In my eyes, he's far more interesting than Reigns and while Lashley is starting to show a little bit of that badass aspect of himself, he's not there yet. Still, I'll take Lashley against Lesnar over Reigns as Lesnar vs. Reigns IV just seems like it's already DOA; their last two matches have completely sucked and I think fans are far more disillusioned with Reigns now because of all the additional big moments Vince has manufactured for him since WrestleMania XXXI in his own antiseptic, nonorganic way. As with the other Lesnar vs. Reigns sequels, a fourth one would be going down in front of a hostile crowd and there's no good outcome: many fans simply aren't interested in Roman Reigns as Universal Champion and a lot of fans are tired of Lesnar having the title, the infrequent title reigns and the lack of quality singles bouts as champion.
