Hello everyone! I have been corresponding with Sly and KB with a proposal that I'm happy to say is now coming to life. I'd like to open an invitation to you all to participate in a WWE-based Fantasy Pool on Steel Cage Forums! The name of the game is drafting your team of WWE superstars and trying to score as many points as possible (based on wins, losses, championships etc) over a roughly three month period. Specifically, from the RAW after SummerSlam until Survivor Series. Over those three months, you'll be able to negotiate and trade with other players to better improve your fortunes. You'll even be able to trade with a free agent pool, so be prepared to snatch up that NXT call up!
Sly and KB have agreed to afford me a sub section in which I'll be able to properly manage the game and your respective rosters. As we get closer to launch, that sub section will open up and we will begin the official Draft of this inaugural season. I want to be up front with any potential participants; This draft could be somewhat tedious. Over the two week draft period from August 5th through 19th, participants will be encouraged to check SCF at least once a day to help make the draft pass as expediently as possible. Measures have been planned to allow the game to continue should someone fail to draft a superstar at the appropriate time, but I'd love to avoid that.
After that arduous process is taken care of, the game will be smooth sailing! Watch RAW and Smackdown with baited breath in hopes your roster banks big points for you as negotiate (and quietly scheme) your next trades in hope to dump a dud for a blue chip star, all the while watch that deadline of Survivor Series come closer and closer.
That being said, who would be interested in participating? We will need at least 10 players, but I'd love to max this out at 18. First come, first served!
