Seriously though, it's going to be very close if my Mania predictions are right. If Balor and Angle win like I expect them to, and the SD Women's title gets put on the line in the main event (which it almost certainly will), That's an easy 34 points for you, not even counting the Raw Tag Title match. My potential saving grace is Asuka having a great showing in the Women's Battle Royal (if we even get one) and Andrade doing well in the ARMBAR. I don't see McIntyre or Corbin earning more than 8 points combined.

But yeah, I haven't thought about this much or anything...

I haven't tallied as such, but I estimate that's going to be my Finn Balor. Picked in my first round, 14th overall. Worked every show since the start of the pool except for one (RAW after Rumble), often gets the W, won and lost the IC title, and on several shows worked double-duty.

Too hard to say that especially considering the better direction WWE is going, anyone could get a decent push and win a string of matches. I wanted to pick Cesaro but his push just came to a screeching halt due to Black beating him twice in a row, so I went with Baron Corbin. Corbin seems more likely to get wins seeing how Vince thinks he is so handsome and all, lol.

Regarding the 24/7 title i'd go with a title defense being with pinfall/submission or evading someone wjo jas yroed do pin the champ. If no one goes for a pinball and the champ just hides it doesn't count as a successful defense.

On the same note, I believe R-Truth would also get title loss points which would be 10 instead of 4.

EDIT: Actually he'd get 10 for losing the title (To The Revival), 14 for winning the title back (From The Revival) , and 10 for losing the title again (To Elias).

I'm not mad or anything Milenko. I actually think the half points is a fair compromise. I still see all of you in my rear view mirror throughout this season. I just knew this would become a thing from the first month of the 24/7 title, hence my first two picks being the guys who will be around the title constantly for awhile. I was not necessarily surprised that i got Truth 3rd, but that I got Maverick late in the second just makes me think that nobody scouted very well and are now crying foul.

Added the roster requirements to the rule thread. There is a penalty for not having it right so i'd go take a gander at it & make any changes once the trade thread opens up.

I won't penalize anyone this week because the requirements weren't the easiest thing to find but it'll happen next week if they aren't fixed.

OK, so I'm game to run a new league, this one is too far gone to really get it back. I'm debating a few ideas which is why I haven't said anything yet.

I'll take some ideas from the masses. Instead of a pool where highest point total wins, should we do it like a regular Fantasy League where the teams are facing each other, and the best few do a playoffs at the end?

If a good way to do it can be found, should I include NXT and AEW? It'll make Free Agency difficult with a very short break between shows. It'll also mean I'd need help. Also we'd need a much bigger roster.

Or should we do an NXT/AEW league and omit RAW/SD?


I have ideas for the 24/7 title, that will include it but not make it OP.

Similarly, I'd also want to include points for a beatdown, so that (like Monday), Rusev would get some points for beating down King Corbin and Randy Orton.

Week 1 would be StormTrooper vs. Smark, Jeff vs. #MrScissorsKick, etc. Week 2 would be ST vs. #MSK, Smark vs. Jeff, etc.

Top 2 or 4 teams would do a playoff.

OK, so a few announcements.

I move to officially end the 3rd season early, declaring JHolcomb the winner as he was way ahead if I recall correctly.


On to the news at hand...

SEASON 4!

First of all the biggest change. Instead of doing a pool where we just count points and the highest point total wins, We will have a League, where your roster will go head to head with another squad. The length of the season will be determined by the number of people who sign up, but we do need an even number for obvious purposes.

Also, because I have no life and think I can pull this off, we will be doing a 4-show, 2 promotion League involving RAW, Friday Night Smackdown, NXT, and AEW Dynamite, as well as their respective Pay Per View Events. Obviously this will have some changes to the rosters.



NEW ROSTER RULES!


The 2 show pool had 5 people. Double the shows, DOUBLE THE ROSTER! 10 Performer Roster! HOWEVER, to have some strategy involved there will be a 7 performer active roster with a 3 person bench (these 3 people do not accumulate points for you).

Rosters can be set at any time, but the positions and performers lock the moment the show goes on-air (that means the Kickoff show as well, so PPV rosters lock at 6 or 5 EASTERN depending on the PPV).


New Roster Rules

Male Raw
Male Smackdown
Male NXT
Male AEW
Female from ANY show (Just in case anyone would argue this, Nyla Rose is a FEMALE performer).
Flex
Flex (Anyone from any show)
BENCH
BENCH
BENCH (these 3 do not score for the player, unless the weekly matchup ends in a Tie.

This would mean that every week you need to look at your roster and set your lineups. If you fail to set a new lineup the same one from the week prior will be used.



Failure to comply will mean that you are playing with a smaller lineup, instead of point reduction as in previous seasons.
If a Performer changes shows, there will be a 1 WEEK grace period before he is affiliated with his new show. Say Johnny Gargano finally goes to Friday Night Smackdown the week after Survivor Series, you will have a week where he is eligible for both roster spots before the NXT one disappears.

If a performer is on both shows, they will maintain dual eligibility.


With the current schedule of television, the Free Agency will be open from Midnight EST Monday night (Tuesday AM officially) following RAW. The window will close at 11AM EASTERN on Wednesday, before AEW/NXT.



THE FIX FOR THE 24/7 CHAMPIONSHIP!


If you become the champion at any time during the show, you get 5 points
If you are the champion when the show goes off-air, you get a bonus 5 points.



The maximum points you receive for the championship now is 10 points per episode.



If you're interested please announce it again here so that I know who is in and can work on a schedule, as well as a draft order (both will be randomized). I want to start a draft if not Sunday by Thursday. God willing we can get this started in time for the AEW PPV.

Sorry for the delay in scoring, I was in South Bend, Indiana and Chicago, Illinois and did not have access to a computer. Just got home this afternoon.

I tallied the points for Wednesday and Friday. I will do Monday after RAW is done, then I will do math to determine the finals.

Remember Free Agency starts in 1 hour 10 minutes after RAW goes off the air, and it ends at 11AM Wednesday Morning (36 hours later).
