One major difference between EWR and TEW is that TEW offers a place for storylines. It also grades how well they are executed. Because I prefer EWR's more simplistic format, I cannot be judged on what stories I come up with. To remedy that, I will write up storylines here and pretend there's no such thing as a score. Let's pretend you're all viewing this for the drama.

Updates will come in by bulk. I need 32 workers to start, and it would be taxing taking snapshots of each and every signed personnel. That and currently I can only have 7 images per post. There will be a roster and I will break down every piece of information I find interesting enough to share.

When a superstar wins a title, I will upload their image with the championship. If I decide to go nuts and give, say Baron Corbin a mask, I will share that here too.

If there is anything you'd like for me to include, even the stuff I wouldn't get from the game such as TV show theme music, drop me a line and I'll come up with something. We can all have some fun with this.

I need to get on TV, and that's one of the more challenging things to achieve on EWR. If I just throw myself at a small channel, I could get views that are nowhere near my cap (3.20 For TV Ratings) and lose out on a ton of money. But if I go the middle ground I could get Graveyard shift, which is usually worse. If I gun for channels with excellent ratings, I probably have to wait a month to be told no.

Active Storylines

"A Question Of Reliability" - Jay Lethal vs. Alberto el Patron

Alberto el Patron recognized Jay Lethal as the biggest challenge in NWA, and called him out at NWA Preamble. Jay Lethal accepted the match with the addition that it would be for the NWA Worlds Championship. Lethal won the contest, but by the next event Alberto claimed the title doesn't suit him at all, and that it should be on the shoulder of a man who has fought all over the world in various promotions. Lethal insulted him, stating he wouldn't have had to jump brands if he kept his mouth shut and do right by the company that hires him. Lethal called him unreliable, and reminded him that he had been with a promotions up until his contracts expired. At NWA Second Wind, a Triple Threat Match featuring Colin Cassady proved nothing as Lethal pinned the former "Big Cass".

It's brand loyalty vs. marquee attraction in this battle for the Ten Pounds of Gold.


"The Pro-Diva" - Jennifer Blake vs. April Hunter

April Hunter and Jennifer Blake were colleagues on the indy scene for years, even teaming up from time to time. April has long since adopted a sexual personality she calls "pro-diva", using her position as a former Playboy playmate to her advantage. When "Girl Dynamite" signed to NWA exclusively, April was the one who had a change of heart for her lifelong friend, and cheated to become the NWA Women's Champion. She did so again on the Second Wind pre-show.

When NWA signed the popular Asuka, April Hunter interfered with her match against Madison Eagles - just for Blake to come in for the save.

Jealousy is running rampant in the Women's Division as two partners turn on one another.


"This Is Rasslin'" - James Storm vs. Scott Dawson

Newly instated General Manager Jim Cornette began NWA Fahrenheit with a proposal: he wanted to see a Southern brawl the likes we haven't seen in over thirty years. James Storm instantly came to mind, being the cowboy of TNA fame. But it was a fairly unusual appearance by Scott Dawson of The Revival that brought everything into chaos - nearly pinning Storm clean. James sees Dawson as inauthentic and Dawson sees James as over-the-hill.

It's a good ol' fashion rassle.


"D-A-W-G-Z" - Real1 w/Rhett Titus & Will Ferrara vs. Joe & Mark Coffey

Realest team in the room. That's what Real1 aka Enzo Amore said about The Dawgz, his new clientele. At Second Wind, they did the unthinkable and dethrone Los Gueros del Cielo in their first title defense to capture the NWA World Tag Team Championship. They seem to have a problem with young talent The Coffey Brothers, and rag them at every turn.

It's a wave of momentum vs. an untested duo in this fight for bragging rights.



Minor Feuds/Basic Grudges

PAC vs. Shane Strickland

Battle of high-flyers. Shane has a chip on his shoulders and PAC wants to break it and reign supreme.


Kaitlyn vs. Taryn Terrell

Taryn sees herself as an Alpha while Kaitlyn thinks her work ethic is to be desired. A surprisingly budding feud.


Simon Gotch vs. Tracy Williams

Technical superstars go to work proving which style is the best - old school or new.


Asuka vs. Nicole Matthews

Asuka's first match with Eagles was nearly one-sided until April Hunter stepped in, but Nicole, Eagles's tag team partner on the indy circuit, claims otherwise. Now the two are set to lock up to show if Asuka is a fluke or Nicole is just running her mouth.

I downloaded the mod you linked me to and so far WWE has released a ton of talent. They gutted about a third of NXT, but they also fired Asuka, Nia, Naomi, Kalisto. Jey Uso (But not Jimmy), and the AOP. Were there any really surprising main roster firings in your game so far?

Also you should consider the super racist stable I put together. Crime Time, Sugar Dunkerton, and Famous B as the manager.

Every version I've played WWE does that craziness. I suppose it's a matter of fairness. Just about every woman they let go are worth triple the ones you get on the indies. Asuka, Nia Jax, Beth Phoenix, Ember Moon, etc all surprised me. The Revival too because they're decent workers.

For extra racist fuckery you should call the team Pale Riders.

The Women's Tag Match had Madison Eagles as referee. She pummeled Asuka and gave Nicole Matthews the win. Asuka paid her back immediately.

I released MVP from his Open Contract due to finances. Dude costs me $52,000 per appearance and while it really helped my overall rating when he'd hype AR Fox, it wasn't moving the needle for Fox any and it was getting harder to put MVP on the card. I'll have to come up with a way to utilize my heel high flyer not named PAC.

Also sent a promo tape to POP to see if I can get a secondary show.

I'm new to this whole LetsPlay thing and I'm a total amateur at this game, so I'm open to anything you guys would want to see covered. Real1 is tired of being Alexander the Great with his Dawg soldiers. He demands stronger prey.

Dawson and Storm were about to butt heads backstage, but were pulled apart.

PAC was a referee in the Strickland/Fox match, and kept teasing at screwing Shane over, but decided to play it fair and "give the kid a break."

The Main Event was a Submission Match. Beforehand Trish Stratus announced the same stipulation would happen at NWA Apex between Jay Lethal and Alberto el Patron, so tonight was a sneak peek of what would be in store.

Simon Gotch lost 1 point of Overness. Tracy gained 2 points of Overness. The NWA North American title gained in image.

The Promotion Wars are starting to pick up. Before this show, NWA was at #10 with House of Hardcore overtaking me (they signed MVP). But after this episode aired NWA stands at #8, skipping over Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. HoH is at #10. Everything is definitely not set in stone.

Alberto attacked Lethal and posed with the NWA Worlds title to end the show.

Worst episode by far. They can't all be winners. Still got 2.28

Also fucked up and without thinking ended Asuka and Nicole Matthews's feud off-screen, killing their Overness. I put it back but Asuka went from 65 to 53. At least now she's good enough to be my Women's Champion if I think it's wise. Still, rookie mistake. I was half-asleep.

I didn't and now that you mention that yeah, there's something in that. I'm still very much a rookie as you can see. My promotion is at Cult level and I can only hire writers who have 75 skill or below, and every angle is in the 70s except major ones involving talent with hella good charisma. Then it's about 79.

And I'm glad you brought that up because Staff skills do drop. I got Vince Russo (don't judge me) at like 73/4 and now he's at 69. Wonder if there's a hidden factor in that with me hiring Jim Cornette, ha.

I dropped him and hired Dave Lagana.

A little bummed to see Jay Lethal's Overness taking a dive from 81 to a 77 and the game not tell me what I did wrong. I assume it was a combination of his feud ending (though he won and got points), James Storm removing himself from the new feud I had in store, and defending against Shane Strickland in an interfered fight. Just a weird anomaly.

I do not do this game justice with how fun and challenging it is. For those who don't know much about EWR, I'm covering maybe 50% of what actually goes on. Fun game, and with the right scenario (year of wrestling) anybody could have a ball with this. Even TEW is the same really, but WAYYYYYY overboard on all the ins and outs of wrestlers. It takes on hour or so to get a good card up for a show there.

Sophie tells me Real1 should be the main focus of my shows and that's why he is getting more screentime. What can ya do?

I negotiated with CTV and they extended my time slot as long as I brought the Risk Level down. I did - it is 50% now. But because of this there is a little flack from the network telling me my first extended show didn't bring in the ratings they wanted. I'm at 2.70. In comparison, AAA landed a 2.63, IMPACT is 1.44, and CMLL is at 0.54. I am not sure what else they could possibly ask of me.

They just announced TEW2019, and it supposed to be more streamlined and user friendly, so you may wanna hold out for that.

I found a decent looking RealWorld 2003 mod for TEW2013. My experience with TEW is even less than EWR so this could be hilarious. No matter what though, I'm gonna start with a regular promotion first. Maybe TNA.
