WWE has confirmed to Pro Wrestling Sheet that Hulk Hogan will be at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on Friday as the host of the event.

As we previously reported, WWE.com added Hogan to the list of superstars set to appear at the event, but was removed once it was noticed by multiple websites.

No word on when the deal was finalized to have Hogan appear at Crown Jewel.

In case you missed it, Daniel Bryan and John Cena refused to work the event and were both written out of their scheduled Crown Jewel matches this week on Raw and SmackDown Live

As we first reported yesterday, Renee Young will surprisingly join the announce team in Riyadh.

This will be Hulkâ??s first appearance on WWE TV since the Summer of 2015.

Take this as a grain of salt. WWE.com has Hogan listed as an advertised talent at WWE Crown Jewel.

...But nothing like a "Real American" is definitely the best idea for Saudi Arabia.

I don't care to see Hogan. He'll get a nostalgia pop, say a few catchphrases, and then leave. What's the point? Well I guess the Saudis wanted it, and that's reason enough for WWE.

This whole event has been a mess, and the quicker it's over, the better.

And by the way, Renee Young being on commentary is a publicity stunt. It doesn't begin to excuse WWE for going to Saudi Arabia and it definitely doesn't excuse Saudi Arabia for all the horrible things they've done.

Whole damn thing is icky. Hogan is a star and the best person to get on board for this since a few major players are out. Still though, icky.

Do they know who specifically murdered that journalist yet? I put money on Hogan celebrating with him at some point and it's the picture the press use until this blows over.

"Hulk Hogan Hosts Saudi PPV" was a weird enough story to encourage me to actually go back to WZ to see how people were reacting, and then I ended up finding this place.

Conclusion: Hulk's still a draw, brother

As for the PR thing, it feels a bit like WWE went for "two birds with one stone" here.
