When was Nak/Rusev made? Totally missed that

Short, sweet, and to the point. Best option for everyone, naturally.

That trophy looks dope.

That Orton/Rey match was alright for a short opener actually.

Ollie
11-02-2018, 10:25 AM
Have you noticed Greg's ring announcing today is much lower key in pitch/tone, yet the actual wording is way more grandiose? What's up with that?

#AbsoluteUnit

This stadium looks smaller than Greatest Royal Rumble.

Awesome_Miz

I thought Renee wasn't going to be in the arena and they would need to relocate the commentary team?

I believe it's being held in Saudi's University arena. And last time it was in a stadium.

You know this whole Shane saying the SD guy needs to win or get fired either means SD wins or it sets up Shane's next feud.

#AbsoluteUnit
11-02-2018, 11:39 AM
The production crew is making it that they don't show Renee. They moved the trophy away from the announcers booth, and they've showed wrestlers in the way of Renee when the cameras are looking at the announcers. If that makes sense.

For those watching this through, I respect your commitment. Just reading the LDs going on for this is peak cringe.

I think RAW is just looking to fill the Reigns shaped hole in the roster. Making them part of team RAW at Survivor Series will be interesting as well.

WWE Title match aside, this has been a bit of a chore to get through.
But now we're finally at the reason I'm watching.

Not watching, but I just caught a GIF of Undertaker and Triple H running together in a botched Irish whip reversal and now I can't stop laughing. And I'm in public, it's a problem.

So it's pretty obvious. Lesnar is keeping the Universal Championship until the fight with DC (or whoever the world champ will be). WWE wants to ride hard on the double cross-promotion UFC/WWE world champ Brock Lesnar.

That is, if Lesnar wins.

#AbsoluteUnit
11-02-2018, 01:49 PM
That was pathetic.

The best part is that #CancelWWENetwork is trending. Because of Brock Lesnar. Like, I'm not giving a hard time to anyone who watched it in spite of Saudi Arabia, but revisit your values, nerds!

Spidey
11-02-2018, 04:28 PM
Lol. Believe me, nothing makes me not want to watch Raw more than this rerun, but it's tragic that's trending when all the bullshit surrounding Crown Jewel wasn't enough.

Real ethical dilemma there.

#AbsoluteUnit

It also helped that Crown Jewel was complete ass.

You know damn well that nobody is actually going to cancel the WWE network. Itâ??s mostly greasy neckbeards who never even had the network in the first place.

This was a fucking meme of a pay per view and I'm looking forward to the wrestling "journalists" ranting about it

Sort of in this weird situation of knowing the show was absolutely horrendous, yet enjoying that it was for the sake of the fan reactions and fallout.

thought this was one of the better shows actually, you'll all be annoyed with shane winning but at the end of the day who really cares it's pretty funny that he got in there and did that, you should also give trips some credit he was a machine playing through that injury don't think you guys would

Yeah absolutely. Helmsley has a strong history of powering through terrible injuries and finishing his matches, so props to him for that.

I also thought Shawn was moving pretty well. People are joking about the bald thing and saying it ruins him but his charisma and energy is all still there, so under less controversial circumstances, I'd actually be open to him wrestling again

This was one of the better shows? You're in a pretty extreme minority if you think this was even decent.

Props to Triple H for wrestling through an injury though.

I had a little bit of trust in WWE that Braun will finally win instead of the absent champion. I was wrong.

Not going to watch Raw for sure. Not even highlights. Bunch of better options out there.

In short, bad wrestling and bad booking decisions.

Little bit longer version - The World Cup matches were short; the longest match went 13:05, and the average match went 8:23. And that's not including the 2 minute final. Also a non-wrestler in Shane McMahon actually won the tournament. The other matches ranged from really bad (the main event, Strowman vs Lesnar) to below average (Nakamura vs Rusev, Bar vs New Day) to good but nothing compared to the other matches they've had in WWE (Styles vs Joe). And then the worst part of the show - Brock Lesnar is champion again, meaning the Universal Title is going to be gone yet again, leaving Raw in yet another holding pattern. It's not the worst show ever, but it's nothing I'd ever want to watch.

I'll be one of them now. There are bunch of better options, even in wrestling. Where there's not a lazy World Champion who disappeared so well that I even forgot that the top champion exists for Raw. I want to be entertained by wrestling, not nuisance.

Bro stop being so salty Brock is a better champion then Braun, braun is way too much of a cartoon character and he's been so stale this year I'm glad he's not the champ... Also it's pretty obvious the competitors in the world cup wanted to keep it moving fast because they didn't want to fatigue early, needed to make short work of opponents and then it's pretty logical that Shane enters the tournament at the end, replaces the already fatigued Miz and makes short work of Dolph Ziggler the man wanted Smackdown! to win and he made sure it happened it's way smarter than you're giving credit.
