The above is the new WWE Championship, designed exclusively for the title holder, the new Daniel Bryan. With his new bag-man, Erick Rowan, in tow, Bryan revealed the design in the smarmiest way possible before shrieking about how the fans were fickle and failed to protect the planet that given them life before stating he'd be WWE Champion forever. This lead to interruptions by long-time rival AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Mustafa Ali and Samoa Joe followed by a brawl by the five would-be challengers and the declaration that all six men (including Bryan), would be in the Elimination Chamber for the most coveted prize in WWE. Not a bad shout.
Tonight's show is all about that as four of the men involved collide in singles action; Bryan faces off with Jeff Hardy in what should prove to be a fun exhibition, while Mustafa Ali goes one-on-one with Randy Orton for the first time ever. AJ Styles is not listed for the show so may be on a week off, but the presence of Samoa Joe looms large over the night. Who knows where "The Destroyer" may pop up? Maybe even outta' nowhere...
Elsewhere, we have the fallout of Becky Lynch punching Stephanie McMahon in the face last night (oh it was glorious) and subsequently being suspended, The Good Brothers (Gallows & Anderson) taking on The Lions of Kinshasa (Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura) which will no doubt involve the newly minted United States Champion R-Truth in one form or another, the final spot in the Women's Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber being decided and another collision of a sort between Rey Mysterio and the man formerly known as "Cien" Almas, Andrade!
All this and more!
