According to Dave Meltzer, of course.

Drew McIntyre was scheduled to win, but Vince changed it to Ali a week before. Wrestlers in the match knew Ali wasn't winning and a surprise entrant would win. Ali was told right before the match that Lesnar was winning and to keep quiet.

Interesting situation to say the least.

Obviously Ali did not win the Money in the Bank.

Yeah, allegedly Ali was the only one told he wouldn't be winning. He was told that a mystery competitor would come out but he wasn't told who said mystery competitor was. There was a shot of Randy Orton's face on the outside, selling everything, and, to me, he looked kind of annoyed that it turned out to be Brock Lesnar. it was a sentiment shared by a lot of people in attendance, reportedly, as the match had several guys that the fans were genuinely interested in seeing winning, including Ali. But this is WWE, how often does Vince give a damn about what and who the fans are invested in?

Why keep it a secret from the performers? Isn't it their jobs to look surprised?

"Is that mystery guy Brock Lesnar, he's literally over there?"

"Hey we better knock Lesnar down because Ali's supposed to win"

Anyone see that cameraman get flattened by the ladder Lesnar launched? Poor guy, even he didn't want Brock.
