Extension Requests / Taking Time Off Thread

Need some time off of WZCW for any reason? Need to ask for an extension to your RP deadline for a round? This is the place to do just that.

If you are asking for a deadline extension, we are not going to ask you why. However, giving us some information as to why that is the case would be a good thing. The more information you can give us, the more likely we are to grant the extension. That said, it is not an automatic process. If you request one, Creative reserves the right to decline the request for a number of reasons. Requesting an extension a few hours before the deadline is up will not be looked upon very favourably due to the resultant affect on your opponent. We usually ask for a couple of days notice so that your opponent has the same chance to use the deadline as you do.

In some case, however, this will not be possible. If you need an emergency deadline extension, please give us as much notice as possible to discuss it and make a decision. If you have not heard back from a member of Creative in a timely fashion, please PM the current Head of Creative or Second in Charge to get an answer. Failing to RP and saying you needed an extension - without asking for one - will result in a strike against your character.

If you need a longer period of time off, please just ask. You don't have to give us any reasons for it and you don't have to tell us when you will be back. All we ask is that you give us some notice so that we are not building feuds around your character, only for the carpet to be pulled from under us. Leaving and not telling us will be held against you if you choose to re-apply for the Fed some way down the line.
