PAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
I just got home from work.
I finally got to it! The 2 match show became a 1 match show. I'm actually intrigued at whether Brock wins the WWE Championship or if he will take a loss to Big E. I hope E gets the pin on him. Even if the heels cheat and he takes advantage it is still a dub over Brock Lesnar.
So I'm watching live on Peacock on my TV, where the RAW Tag Title Match is going on.
I'm watching from the beginning on my computer, where Uso's/New Day is going on.
I figured they'd have Uso's New Day go fairly long as they can have a great match in their sleep.
THE USO'S WON WITH A FUCKING 3D!
Happy Corbin? More like ANGRY Corbin amiright?
How dare he do that to Drew.
^ Yes
Face Brock Lesnar >>>>>>> Heel Brock Lesnar.
I don't know how many people would have said that a couple years ago but it's true.
I'm all caught up already. That pop-up RKO from Riddle/Orton was pretty sick. even if it was the 2nd match out of 3 to end with an assisted cutter.
Miz has Maryse, will Edge bring Mrs. Edge? I hope so.
This entrance is so fire...
If they use this Fatal 5-Way to spin off into a Lashley/Lesnar match, I'll gladly take it.
I'm actually kinda pissed Liv lost clean. I think Becky was supposed to try and get the ropes but was too far out.
Good match though.
I'm assuming a returning Asuka or Bayley will feud with Becky.
JOHNNY FUCKING KNOXVILLE IS IN THE ROYAL RUMBLE! JACKASS FOREVER THE WEEK AFTER THE RUMBLE! I LOVE IT!
I'm gonna quote myself here.
This was Smackdown on November 19th during the Sonya/Naomi feud where an NXT Ref was brought up to do a quick count in the Naomi match. After the match, Sonya told the ref that she'd never ref in WWE again.
That ref? The black female official (don't know her WWE name) that has been reffing for all shows, including the Becky/Liv title match tonight.
Brock is not being advocated for by Paul Heyman, despite him saying so.
How do I know this? Brock Lesnar no longer has sponsorship logo's on his shorts. If Heyman was still repping Lesnar he would have his Jimmy's John's sponsorship still.
I always tend to like Brock in multi-man matches. He can look amazing in spurts, get taken out by multi-man attacks without worrying about countouts.
Is it just me or does the camera work seem a bit off tonight. One of the camera men doesn't seem to be capturing their shots right.
LESNAR WON THE TITLE!
BUT HE COULD NOT ESCAPE THE HURT LOCK!
Can't say I'm excited about Lesnar as champion
They could be using some different angles. I don't mind as long as you don't miss shots. There was a time when Becky got her foot on the ropes but they didn't have a shot of it right away. I actually liked that because why would the Cameraman be there right away? He shouldn't be, let them react more instead of knowing what's coming.
I wonder what the original plans were.
Have WWE gone and created themselves further issues?
They already had to move things around on the Smackdown maim event scene and their solution was to go ahead and rip up all their plans for the Raw main event scene.
Maybe this is a slight detour and we'll be back on track in a month.
I suppose its the first time in at nearly a year I'm interested in what happens on Raw tomorrow.
Do they actually know what the fuck their doing? Why couldn't they just go with the original winner with Brock not being pinned instead of LOL BROCK WINS!!11!!
Brock winning is the most compelling story. There are so many ways they can go with this.
- Brock or Roman win the Rumble, and unify the championships at Mania, putting the championship on Roman and having him on both shows. (my personal favorite choice)
- Brock loses the championship shortly thereafter (preferably back to Big E thanks to Roman fucking over Brock), continues his feud with Roman, and this just a brief hiccup to give the crowd something cool after they lost out on the match they paid to see. (this one I think is most likely)
- Brock stays on RAW for a while, and we get the Brock/Lashley feud people have clamored for, and the ensuing Brock/Big E match which should be good.
- This could free up Roman at Mania for someone else (Rock?), while keeping the conclusion of Brock/Roman for down the road.
Saturday morning, we knew the outcomes. Roman wins, and (most likely) Big E wins, and everything was gonna be status quo. Now we don't know what they're gonna do, and it makes the show more entertaining.
The only option of the 4 listed that makes sense to me is number 2. Every other option would be a result of throwing away a years planning ( I say a year as they used to book from 'Mania backwards)
I also wasn't certain Roman would win due to the Heyman factor.
Now I'm 'criticising' something we haven't seen pan out yet but I would have preferred it if they inserted Brock into the match and then have the Uso's come out and screw him. That way we all still get to see Brock and then Raw and Smackdown could have continued as intended.
The re-write makes me nervous
