Problem is, Harbaugh doesn't have an Andrew Luck (Stanford), or Kaepernick (49ers) to work with. Here's the QB's he's had to work with up to date:
2015: Jake Rudock
2016: Wilton Speight
2017: Speight, John O'Korn
2018: Shea Patterson, Dylan McCaffrey
2019: Patterson
Rudock was alright, Speight was the most consistent, O'Korn was awful and Patterson has been hit or miss. Other than Speight and maybe Patterson, none of them have been world beaters.
Bottom line: I get what you're saying, no doubt. However, who does Michigan get if they let Harbaugh go? You can bet Urban Meyer won't be calling for the Michigan job. Bob Stoops is retired. Who could they get?
