I am glad that Taya's back. She was really hitting a groove when she left.

It’s the week before the big Crossroads show and that means it’s time to build things up a bit. Next week’s main event will see Austin Aries defending the World Title against Johnny Impact in what could be an awesome match. Other than that though we’re likely in for more build towards Abyss vs. Kongo Kong, because that’s what we need to see. Let’s get to it.
If You Can't Figure This Out
Yeah, really enjoyed the Taya/Rosemary escalation. That's got big fight feel.
It did. Visuals didn't hurt either.
I mean, Taya is built like a refrigerator, but she's still attractive. She'll never be confused for Taryn Terrell, though. That's for sure.
Yup. Especially up top.

Hell. O.
Oh yeah. Those things have been having some issues staying in since they came back to Orlando.
That's OK by me.
Same. The WWE women are better looking overall but the Knockouts always had more sex appeal
I'm on delay tonight. Rangers/Lightning starts now. Looks like a helluva show, though.
Casually watching Impact Crossroads in the background. How many friggin titles does this promotion have? Coming up next the NWA Champion will put his X Division Championship on the line against the Impact/Medium Weight Champion who was just rewarded the Grand Championship via E Mail.
On a positive note. Josh Matthews isn't half as bad to listen to as he was when he was desperately trying to be a heel commentator. I'd say Matthews and this other guy are a not bad duo. They're calling the matches and not going into any stupid ass antics to advance their own agendas.
....is Laurel Van Ness supposed to be a drunken lush character?
One less, soon.
He and Dutt have a natural chemistry that he and Borash never had.Quote:

Yes.Quote:

Yeah she used to be rich and spoiled but got left at the altar and went insane for the last year.
Refreshing that the camera stays on one shot. WWE goes way too nuts during a woman's match and change the camera 150 times a second.
Why is Austin wearing 4 belts? I can't even....lol!
The Machine has a really cool finisher, a suplex tombstone .
Steiner Screwdriver!

That was a damn good match. Austin is a way better fit in TNA.

It’s a big show tonight with Crossroads. The name doesn’t really mean anything but it’s a stacked card with Austin Aries defending the World Title against Johnny Impact as the main event. Last week’s show saw Sami Callihan crush Eddie Edwards’ face with a baseball bat so you can almost guarantee some fallout there. Let’s get to it.

They Really Are Good At This
Just starting now.
I'm a hopeful convert in the Cult of Lee. All hail.
Sydal is really coming into his own here, too. This Namaste character is great.
Ishimori can really go. I don't even care that he speaks like six words of English. The dude is a treat to watch in the ring.
Yeah I had a blast with that match. Better than I was expecting.
So far it's my favorite match of the night. I'm at the end of Aries/Impact now.
I liked it quite a bit. The women's match and the Lashley match weren't great but both had their upsides.
For story advancing, yeah. Meh matches.
I'm glad to see that Mundo isn't getting the world title this soon after joining this promotion which had happened quite a lot in the past.
The match with Aries was damn good. But Alberto!? Again? I hope that Aries retains if he faces Alberto.
Alberto is becoming the Gail Kim of the men's division.
Moose has a knee injury.
Taya/Rosemary is such a big fight. I love how well they're building this. Ditto the Callihan/Eddie match.
Same. I dig that story a lot as there's a natural feeling to it.
LOL @ the Josh thing.
Honestly, I'm fine with it. It's a joke, but it gets rid of the Grand Championship for good.
LMAO. Eli Drake had a chunk of Trevor Lee's hair on his back after that suplex from the top rope. Ouch!
Yeah I was expecting Josh to become the new champion and defend the thing. This is fine.

Things are entering a new phase here as we’re done with Crossroads, meaning it’s time to get ready for the next big show. While that hasn’t been announced yet, there is at least a hint of the upcoming World Title feud with Alberto El Patron staring down Austin Aries last week. Let’s get to it.

It’s time to find out what happened last week in Feast or Fired. Tonight is the opening of the briefcases and that means three people are getting title shots while a fourth is getting fired. The firing isn’t the biggest surprise in the world but there’s still some interest elsewhere. Let’s get to it.

Keeping Up With The NXT
Suicide's still in TNA? What the actual fuck.
Wow, Lashley vs. Cage was every bit as fun as I expected to be.
That crowd is horrible though. Such little reaction to those amazing spots from the big men. They deserve better.

We’re about a month away from the next pay per view (with the well thought out REDEMPTION moniker) and that means it’s time to start filling in the card. Last week saw the Feast or Fired briefcases opened up, meaning we could be having title matches soon. Let’s get to it.

Hoss Fight
Impact's crowds are always a problem whenever they tape out of Orlando. Hopefully the next set is away from home base. Because home base sucks.
There's a good chance I'll be at the Impact vs. Lucha Underground show. Last year, the fans were NOT kind to Impact talent with several "F*** THAT OWL" chants.
I mean, shitting on IMPACT has been a thing as long as I can remember. Every ROH show I went to at the Manhattan Center usually lead with a "FUCK TNA" chant.
Have fun, though. That looks like a helluva show. Maybe things will be different this time around given the new leadership and the fact the Hardy hatchet is finally buried.
Didn't go to Impact vs. Lucha (today was a nightmare and going to a show with a three hour wait beforehand wasn't happening). I did however meet a bunch of Impact people at WrestleCon.
James Storm. Met him before at a TNA show. Upon hearing that, he apologized for making me sit through it, which was very similar to what Bully Ray said last year. I did mention that it was the best fan experience I'd ever had for the meet and greets alone and that made him smile.
Impact had its own table, which was completely hidden behind the line to meet Ric Flair. Later on I went over and met:
Matt Sydal. Got to pick up the X Title for a second, which is nowhere near as heavy as the World Title. I mentioned getting to see him take the RKO out of the air live (which you've likely seem) and he didn't remember where it was. It was in Lexington, which he said he should remember since he gets asked about it a lot.
Eli Drake. And we have a winner. Drake was nice, funny, charismatic etc. I asked if he'd call me a dummy and he said he might, but then he just looks at me asking him questions and thinks DUMMY! YEAH! After that he smiled and shook my hand. I mentioned he had been my favorite part of the show for a long time and that seemed to make him happy. Very nice guy.
Also met a bunch of the Knockouts, including Gail Kim (funny in person), So Cal Val (totally not done justice by the camera), Taya (very nice), Brooke (oh my), Allie (TINY in person, to the point where I wasn't sure who she was at first) and Rosemary (in the facepaint but acting normal otherwise. Looks MUCH better with her hair pulled back as you can tell she has a very pretty face) and basically wearing a blouse and underwear didn't hurt).
Odds are I missed someone but the TNA people were all very nice and welcoming.
Is it fucked up that I wish they'd call the team of Bahh, Tyrus, and Justice "Tons of Fun"?
Well Tyrus was part of Tons of Funk in WWE so you're not that far off.

We’re past Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground and that means we need to hit the hard push towards Redemption. Now that being said, there’s the whole fact that Alberto El Patron has been dropped from the main event due to being Alberto. Hopefully they’ve had time to record something to address the situation, as otherwise a big chunk of this show will be a big waste of time. Let’s get to it.

I thought they traversed the Alberto-sized hole rather well. Hilarious, too, that this is the second time in a year he's fucked them like this.
And how long before they bring him back again?
Yeah they did well. I was worried about sitting through a long Alberto vs. Aries build tonight and next week. This was a relief, even on a not great show.
Never, I hope. They've been burned twice now. Learn the lesson.

It’s the go home show for Redemption and I’m really struggling to think of what’s going to be on the card. There’s the three way for the World Title with Austin Aries suddenly needing two more opponents because Alberto El Patron reverted to his high standards of bailing. Other than that though, I’m not sure what there is on the show, save for Scott Steiner getting a pay per view title shot in 2018. Let’s get to it.

Holy shit! Those are some niiiiiice looking belts!
OMG. Frankensteiner from 55-year-old Scott Steiner!
Scott Steiner... Impact World Tag Team champion. Fuck. Yes.
.....well at least Steiner didn't get the pin.
Trevor Lee has an Owen Hart-like feel to him. I dunno what it is, but his mannerisms, the way he carries himself. I just get that vibe.
Tessa Blanchard! Nice.
Very nice. You can always use more talent. Maybe next time she can get off her phone and talk to the fans at WrestleCon.
Taya is thick!
Maybe she was talking to fans... on her phone? LOL.
I missed it, but why is Callis on commentary and not Dutt?
The finish to this hardcore match is fuckin' great.
Callihan is selling the holy hell out of this. That imagery is glorious.
Speaking of Winter, you saw she's being promoted for the tapings, right? I'm super happy about that. Loved her.
Yikes. McKenzie Mitchell is no ring announcer.
I want to see so much more Pentagon in Impact. Fuckin' love that guy.
I have. His turn/reveal with Vampiro is still one of the best moments I've seen in wrestling, period.
Yikes, there's been so many top rope botches tonight. What's up with the ropes/
Holy fucking shit. New champ!
If this doesn't solidify their partnership, nothing will.
Well since my stream died before the main, I'll be waiting a bit. Should be up soon though.
Finish was sick. I think you'll enjoy it.

It’s the first pay per view in nearly six months (Not counting the nothing One Night Only shows because….well who does really?) and the main event as changed about ten days ago due to Alberto El Patron having high levels of Alberto El Patron. Now it’s Austin Aries defending the World Title against Pentagon Jr. and Fenix in a rematch from Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground. Let’s get to it.

We’re past Redemption and that means it’s time to get ready for Slammiversary. What that means is kind of up in the air at this point but it really could go in a variety of directions. Above all else though, we have a new World Champion as Pentagon Jr. defeated Austin Aries and Fenix in a triple threat match on Sunday. Let’s get to it.

Things are starting to get more interesting around here and a lot of that is stemming from the World Title scene. Pentagon Jr. won the World Title at Redemption and now a nice list of people are starting to go after him. It seems that Austin Aries is at the top of the list, but there’s also Scott Steiner, who is getting to be a bigger and bigger name as the weeks go by. Let’s get to it.

We’re still dealing with the Redemption fallout while also starting the build towards Slammiversary. Tonight’s big deal is Eli Drake cashing in his Feast or Fired briefcase for the World Title shot against Pentagon Jr. You also have Austin Aries roaming around near the title and some other people aren’t far behind. Let’s get to it.

Get A Louder Bell
I wonder why Eli Drake lost his rematch in just 7-8 minutes? Doesn't make sense since he was the World Champion for quite a while.
Waiting for Brian Cage to get in the main event picture. I guess, maybe by Bound For Glory? Or Slammiversary? Also don't know what's next for Moose. Hope nothing again with Kongo.
I barely watch anything except the Knockouts anymore but I'm watching tonight for the hell of it, what's up with all the matches from other promotions? It's weird.

Last week’s main event wasn’t the most interesting as it left us without many places to go in the World Title scene. Pentagon Jr. easily dispatched Eli Drake and likely only has a rematch with Austin Aries to go. Other than that, it’s hard to say where things are going to go around here. Let’s get to it.

We’re back to an old problem that this show has had many times before: not much is really standing out. Sure there’s some good stuff going on, but it’s not exactly sticking as something that leaves much of an impact. The big stories are still Austin Aries vs. Pentagon Jr. and Sami Callihan vs. Eddie Edwards, but they’re both starting to feel a bit long. Let’s get to it.

Other than that, Allie is defending the Knockouts Title against Su Yung in a casket match. Let’s get to it.
