Ratings for Smackdown aren't what was expected and the draft was a disaster.

I wouldn't be shocked if morale was down a little, but they still signed a $200M TV deal. Not that everything is perfect of course, but I don't know that it's as bad as Alvarez is reporting.

Pro wrestling just isn't really that popular/cool anymore. The occasional meme is the only real mainstream attention it gets.
