The only question is if Drew Brees is first ballot or not. I think he is, but there's usually a logjam of talent.
One thing that stands out to me is the amount of heartbreaking playoff losses/losing seasons in the prime of his career.

Drew Brees is a first ballot Hall of Famer. Doesn't matter if there's a logjam of talent waiting 5 years from now. He's in right away, much like Peyton Manning. Besides I doubt there'll be 7 other first ballot Hall of Famers retiring this season. Aside from Frank Gore and Tom Brady, who else that could potentially retire this season is gonna be Hall of Fame bound?
