That's what I was missing, he's on that team as a Flex, not a RB. BSE, I thought you were mad that he was on the team as a RB. Now your argument makes sense. Yes, I do agree Forte should have been awarded at the Flex position.

Probably because Sproles was a PR. But yeah, Forte has a legitimate gripe.
Matt Forte only had 136 fewer receiving yards but had 4964 more rushing yards.
This award doesn't take special teams into account.
Forte over Sproles is a no-brainer. I think the voters either really like Sproles or legitimately forgot about Forte.
It's not about catching the ball out of the backfield. Flex I believe is about lining up all over the field. Forte was a running back who would catch the ball a lot.
I'm under the assumption that Sproles lines up all over the field, hence why the Flex position is there. Maybe I'm wrong being that I don't watch Sproles enough but that's where I'm thinking with that.
I'd take the guy with 4900 more rushing yards, 20 more TDs, and virtually the same amount of receiving yards over the guy who may or may not line up on different parts of the field.
So now the Texans essentially traded Deandre Hopkins for Brandin Cooks (3rd best Wr on Rams), David Johnson (2nd best rb on AZ) and a 4th round pick.
How does O’Brien still have a job?
