I don't understand the "Lamar chokes in the playoffs" narrative. He's 23 and just finished his second season.
Others QBs who didn't win a playoff game in their first 2 seasons - Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, Brett Favre, John Elway, Dan Fouts, Jim Kelly, Joe Montana, Warren Moon, Ken Stabler, Roger Staubach, Steve Young, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tony Romo, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Ryan. These guys did alright.

People love to talk in generalities. Even if Lamar Jackson loses 7 playoff games in a row, the odds of it being just his fault are slim because, shocker, football is a team sport. Dude racked up like, 500 total yards against a very good Titans team last year but, of course, it's all his fault they lost that game. Same crap that basketball players face. Lebron's apparently not great because he's lost 6 times in the Finals. Harden's not a superstar because he couldn't get past the Warriors. And from an opposing perspective, Eli Manning's apparently a Hall of Famer because he's won two Super Bowls. Everything's generalized because it makes headlines. The reality that teams lose/win games and not individual players is boring. That's why nobody talks about it.

That's my point. Most analysts say he's a HOFer (and you know he's getting in) based solely on the fact that he won two Super Bowls and beat an undefeated Pats team. They always say Eli beat Brady twice and pretty much dismiss everybody else. There's no real argument otherwise as to him being in the Hall of Fame. It's ridiculous, but that's the nature of sports discussion nowadays.
Not sure who you?re listening to, but most I listen to either say no, or have more arguments against it than for. I can?t see why it would?ve been a topic recently, but I?ve also ignored most sports shows the last few months because they didn?t have any sports to talk about.
Eli Manning belongs in the Hall of Fame. The GIANTS Hall of Fame.
Not the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He was a solid QB.
On a much, MUCH more important note. ALEX SMITH is being activated from the PUP list today, and will be added to the Washington Football Team's active roster. If there's anyone NOT rooting for him to complete this comeback they suck as people.
