    Raw Week 4: Pontiac, MI

Match #1: King Of The Ring Semi Finals
Adam Cole w/ Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish vs Ricochet w/ The Hardy Boyz

Back and forth match with lots of counters to start after Cole starts with a dropkick before being hit with a jumping neckbreaker when he takes time to taunt. Cole hits a small package superkick after putting Ricochet on the top turnbuckle and takes control from here, but eventually Ricochet is able to drop him with a Downward Spiral out of nowhere, followed up quickly by the 630 Senton, but only manages to get a 2 count. Ricochet pulls Cole to his feet, but Cole elbows him in the face and hits a brainbuster followed by a top rope splash for a 2 count of his own. Cole whips Ricochet into the corner and charges in, but Ricochet counters with feet to the chest followed by a sommersault dropkick. He goes up top for a shooting star press, but Cole gets the knees up to block it. Cole follows it up with the Florida Keys and the Last Shot, but Ricochet kicks out at the last second. Cole taunts as he waits for Ricochet to get to his feet, but Ricochet grabs a roll up, which only gets 2. Ricochet goes for a kick to the face, but he gets blocked and pushed into the corner, which lets Adam Cole finish him off moments later with the Panama Sunrise.

    Winner: Adam Cole via pinfall.
The Iiconics are in the ring for a brand new talk show, Iiconic talk. They make fun of Ronda Rousey and how angry she gets and start laughing at her before moving onto the rest of the division, running down a couple other women before they get cut off by the music of Rousey. Ronda comes out onto the stage with Asuka and asks them if all they know how to do is run their mouths. Peyton responds by saying she's also good at beating Ronda, which leads to Ronda issuing a challenge to them for a tag team match right now, while Asuka nods in agreement in the background. Billie says she isn't cleared to compete after last week and Peyton says she's too sick to compete, but if Ronda and Asuka want a match then they know a couple people who would be happy to fight them.

    Match #2:
Ronda Rousey & Asuka vs Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss w/ The Iiconics

Bliss with a jawbreaker to start but Ronda hits a kick and a judo throw on her. There was a lot of back and forth action from here and at one point Ronda got Charlotte into the armbar, but she manages to escape. A couple minutes later Charlotte hits Natural Selection on Asuka but Ronda breaks up a pin at the 2 count. A few minutes later the finish came after Ronda and Bliss began fighting on the floor while Asuka laid out Charlotte with the Empress Kick and managed to get the 3 count for her team.

    Winners: Ronda Rousey & Asuka
Roman Reigns is backstage and talks about how tonight he punches his ticket to King Of The Ring and takes home the World Heavyweight Championship. He says how Daniel Bryan has been very impressive so far in this chase while Owens has kinda fought like a bitch, but tonight he's sending a message to whoever he doesn't eliminate that at King Of The Ring, The Big Dog reclaims his yard.

In what was supposed to be a normal match, a surprise brawl took place backstage with Gentleman Jack Gallagher jumping Aleister Black, throwing him into a wall before hitting him with a trash can, but when Black starts attacking him with strikes, Jack takes off running to the parking lot. Gallagher grabs a kendo stick out of the trunk of a car in the parking lot, which lets him regain the advantage over Black and destroy him for a bit before hitting a headbutt. He grabs a chair and smacks Black a few times with it before hitting a second headbutt, which knocks out Aleister.

Kevin Owens is in his locker room backstage and says he's fought smarter not harder throughout the chase so far. He's gotten this far because nobody has had the chance to eliminate him, but now he's run into a problem. He needs to eliminate Daniel Bryan who's become the biggest threat to him becoming champion. He says Roman can run his mouth all he wants about how this is his yard, but this is still the Kevin Owens Show and soon that'll be even more true once he's holding the World Heavyweight Championship. He's fighting for his family and nobody will stop him.

    Match #3:
    Lio Rush vs Braun Strowman

A total squash match here as Braun runs over Lio twice to start before hitting a kick to the back followed by a running powerbomb. He picks up Rush and whips him into the corner before tossing him back across the ring with a biel and hits a delayed suplex followed by a discus big boot to knock Rush silly. Finally he decides to put an end to Rush's misery with a Running Powerslam, followed by the Reverse Chokeslam to win it.

    Winner: Braun Strowman via pinfall.
Daniel Bryan is in the back and talks about how he's off to a really good start in the championship chase but he knows it's only getting harder. But it doesn't matter if he has to face Roman Reigns or Kevin Owens at King of the Ring, he's taking home that championship and leading Raw in the new era. He knows Owens has a target on him, but he's not the first person to target him and he won't be the last. This is his time and nobody will stop him.

    Match #4: Showcase Match
Rey Mysterio vs EC3 vs Shelton Benjamin

A chance for 3 guys yet to have a match to showcase their talents and gain some momentum. EC3 bails from the ring to start and let the veterans fight it out. Eventually EC3 sees an opportunity to strike, and clotheslines Rey in the back of the head. This leads to him and Shelton teaming up for awhile to double team the master of the 619 until Rey manages to fight them off, and hits the 619 on EC3 but as he goes up top for the spash, Shelton crawls over and pins EC3 for a 2 count. EC3 again slides out of the ring, this time grabbing a chair as Rey hits a hurricanrana on Shelton followed by a bronco buster in the corner, but EC3 slides back in and hits Rey in the back of the head with the chair. EC3 beats the hell out of Shelton with the chair before turning his attention back to Rey with a couple shots to him, and moments later he finishes off Mysterio with a DDT for the pin.

    Winner: EC3 via pinfall.
Bianca Belair is in the ring and issues an open challenge to anybody in the back, saying she's looking to make a statement that she wants the winner of the cage match at King Of The Ring. She waits for a couple moments, but then she gets a surprise as the music of free agent Ember Moon hits.

    Match #5:
    Bianca Belair vs Ember Moon

A fairly quick match as Bianca dominates the majority of it after jumping Ember as soon as she got in the ring. Eventually she hits the KOD on Ember, but only gets a 2 count off it. Ember fights back after the kick out, getting aggressive with strikes as she tries to prove she should have been drafted, and after a suicide dive on Belair, she tosses her into the ring before climbing up to the top and dropping her with the Eclipse for a surprise win.

    Winner: Ember Moon via pinfall.
Match #6: Championship Chase Round 4
Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens vs Daniel Bryan

Owens leaves the ring right away to go look for weapons, including a kendo stick and a table which he sets up at ringside while Reigns and Bryan fight it out in the ring. After a couple minutes Bryan lays out Reigns and leaves the ring to grab a kendo stick of his own, but when he gets back in the ring Reigns takes it away from him and beats him down with it. Suddenly Owens slides in and superkicks Reigns causing him to roll out of the ring, and he takes advantage of the opening to toss Bryan onto the ring apron, before powerbombing him off the apron and through the table. He follows it up with a frog splash then picks up Bryan to throw him back into the ring, but Bryan blocks it and starts hitting the YES! kicks, only for Reigns to come charging over and clothesline Owens off his knees. Reigns ends up beating down both men at ringside now for a bit before throwing Bryan into the ring, and connecting with a superman punch but Bryan kicks out at 2. Owens slides into the ring with a baseball bat and hits Reigns in the head with it before beating the hell out of Daniel Bryan with it. Reigns gets back up and blocks a shot from a bat, before throwing Owens out of the ring. Bryan begins getting up, but that proves to be a mistake as soon as he does,, Reigns charges him and hits the Spear for the pin and the win.

    Winner: Roman Reigns via pinfall.
Eliminated From The Chase: Daniel Bryan.

    Smackdown Week 4: Leipzig, Germany

Becky Lynch kicks off the show and comes down to the ring with a mic, and says last week she would have beat the dopes known as The Riott Squad, but she was stuck with two unreliable partners who stood back and left her high and dry while she was getting double teamed and triple teamed on the floor. She expected as much from Nia, but not Bayley. She tells Bayley to grow a pair and get out here right now to explain herself. Bayley does come out and after getting in the ring says she let Becky get beat up and counted out because she sees Becky as her biggest competition for the belt, and seeing her get softened up isn't the worst thing. They might be friendly with each other, but at the end of the day becoming champ is what matters the most at the end of the day. Becky laughs it off and says if she wants to see her get softened up before their title match, why doesn't she do it herself right now? The two drops the mics and get nose to nose, as Miz appears on the tron and says if they wanna get their hands on each other they can do it, he's sanctioning the match.

    Match #1
    Bayley vs Becky Lynch

Becky dominates early on, being aggressive due to anger but Bayley ends up blocking a disarmher and clotheslines Becky to the floor. Becky is quickly back in the ring though and blocks a dropkick before dropping Bayley with a right hand and hitting a couple quick leg drops. Bayley counters after a kick out at 2, and beats down Becky for a bit including her comeback being hit followed by the Bayleyplex and an elbow drop through the announce table, but by time she gets Becky back into the ring for a pin it's only good enough for a 2 count. After a little more back and forth action, Becky blocks an in ring elbow drop and locks in the Disarmher, and after a short struggle, Bayley is forced to tap out.

    Winner: Becky Lynch via submission.

After the match, Nia Jax sprints down the ramp and runs over Becky, who saw her coming and tried to get the jump on her with no luck. Nia picks her up and drops her with a powerbomb before hitting a leg drop and to send a final message, Nia dragged Becky up to her feet and dropped her with a Samoan Drop. She glared at Bayley, who was leaning against the barricade on her way out.
Andrade Cien Almas and Zelina Vega are backstage and Almas laughs about beating Joe last week, and promises to do the same tonight because the only thing that's changed is he has a monster on his team instead of a viper, and Joe's new partner is a man he's beaten more times than he can count, Johnny Gargano. Vega speaks up now and says Andrade's destiny is already written, he will be the WWE Champion after King Of The Ring, but she's still working on hers. She mentions beating Paige last week but then Sonya Deville stuck her nose where it didn't belong, so now she'll teach her a lesson by beating her tonight. Soon both of them will be champions and the faces of the Smackdown brand, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

    Match #2:
Primo and Epico vs War Raiders

Total domination here as the War Raiders prove their dominance by destroying the brothers in the span of less than 5 minutes. They win with Fallout after a couple minutes of action with Hanson pinning Primo.

    Winners: War Raiders via pinfall.
Johnny Gargano cuts a promo backstage and says after weeks of cheap shots back and forth, tonight he finally gets his hands on Killian Dain. He's not afraid of taking on the monster tonight and he's not afraid of facing him in a street fight on Sunday. He's never been the biggest guy in the match, he's never been the strongest, but he has the biggest heart and if Dain wants to beat him, he better be prepared to kill him.

    Match #3:
Sonya Deville w/ Mandy Rose vs Zelina Vega

Similar to last week, Zelina tries to play mind games to start by bailing from the ring and running away, but also like last week, she gets caught and gets beat up fairly quickly. Sonya manages to keep control after bringing the action back in the ring but eventually Vega fights her off and goes for a chair, however she isn't able to swing it before she gets caught with a kick to the gut making her drop it, and then locked into a choke hold, which ends up making her tap out.

    Winner: Sonya Deville via submission.
Samoa Joe says last week, Andrade got lucky he had Randy Orton to do his dirty work for him and he proved nothing. This week his only hope is if Killian Dain is doing his dirty work for him. But in reality tonight he's going to fall victim to the power game that's being brought against him, and the match is only going to end one of two ways, either Andrade is going to sleep in the Coquina Clutch, or he's getting pinned after a Muscle Buster. He can call the WWE Championship his destiny all he wants but the fact remains Andrade hasn't done a damn thing to earn a shot at it and he's simply not on his level, he'll find that out the hard way.

    Match #4:
Bobby Roode vs The Velveteen Dream

Back and forth match with Dream having the early advantage, but Roode manages to kick out of a couple pins. Dream hits the Dream Valley Driver, but Roode blocks the Purple Rainmaker. Roode wears down Dream a bit, but Dream fights back into it and starts getting a rally of offense, including a big boot and a leg drop, but Roode kicks out again. Dream goes for a second Dream Valley Driver, but Roode slides down the back and bails out of the ring, and snaps Dream's neck off the top rope before getting back in the ring and knocking out the ref, which leaves him an opening to drop Dream with a low blow. He quickly picks Dream back up, and drops him with the Glorious DDT as the ref gets back up, and Roode picks up the somewhat surprising victory.

    Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall.
Bobby Roode grabs a mic after the match and says tonight was a message sent to the entire locker room and to The Miz, he's done waiting for opportunities and done with being overlooked, this is his time and it's time he gets back to what made him the NXT Champion, it's time to stop giving a damn what anyone else thinks and go back to doing whatever it takes to win, just like he did tonight. The glorious era of Bobby Roode begins now.

Match #5: WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Ascension vs The Street Profits (c)

A brawl starts during the Profits entrance with Ascension running up the ramp and getting the match started early. They end up getting the better of the fight with Angelo Dawkins left laying on the ramp while Montez Ford is thrown into the ring to officially begin the match. The Ascension are able to control the majority of the match from here as they keep Ford isolated from his partner thanks to some early double team offense off quick tags and in general beating down Montez. Eventually they get him into the corner and Konnor tries to make a tag to Viktor, but Ford elbows the bigger man in the jaw and knocks Viktor off the apron before hitting a clothesline on Konnor then finally making a tag to Dawkins. Dawkins cleans house, hitting a series of running strikes on Konnor before spearing Viktor off the apron. A couple minutes later the finish comes when the Profits hit the Sky High/Frog Splash combo and Ford pins while Dawkins stands guard, and the champs retain.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: The Street Profits
In the locker room backstage, Ruby Riott praises Sarah and Liv for picking up the win last week. She tells them that's exactly what they need to do moving forward and tells them to do the same tonight. Sarah and Liv nod as Liv hops onto the back of Sarah and they leave the locker room while Ruby has an evil smirk on her face.

    Match #6:
Carmella vs Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan

In what was originally supposed to a singles match with Liv, Sarah turns into a handicap match and the two team up to beat down Mella. Mella tries to fight them both off by keeping one outside the ring but the numbers catch up to her after Sarah slides in behind her and chop blocks out her leg. They take control of the match fully from here with multiple double team moves and taking turns beating down Mella with every comeback attempt being shut down by the other squad member nailing her in the back. In the end Sarah goes for a split leg moonsault, but Mella blocks it and then hits a Superkick on Logan, but before she can do anything else, Liv spins her around and blasts her with green mist before rolling her up to pick up the victory.

    Winners: The Riott Squad
    Match #7: Tornado Tag Match
Andrade Cien Almas & Killian Dain vs Samoa Joe & Johnny Gargano

Dain and Gargano instantly fight to the floor at the start of the match and that's a trend throughout the match with them brawling on the floor while Almas and Joe fight in ring. At one point Joe hits a Urnagi but only gets a 2 count off it while shortly after Almas hits the running knees in the corner, but he also only gets a 2 count. Meanwhile on the floor, Dain destroys Gargano by whipping him back and forth between the barricades on either side of the ramp before laying him out after dropping him ribs first across one of them. The finish of the match comes when Joe hits a running splash on Almas as Dain hits a urnagi on Gargano against the barricade before dropping him with a bicycle kick and sliding into the ring to take out Joe with a running crossbody. Almas recovers and sees an opening, and drops Joe with the Hammerlock DDT for the 3 count.

Winners: Andrade Cien Almas & Killian Dain

    Raw Week 5: Seattle Washington

Kevin Owens comes out to start the show, his newly won World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder as he comes down to the ring. Owens says everyone doubted his ability to win this title, they said he only made it as far as he did in the chase by avoiding being pinned, but he proved everyone wrong when he pinned Roman Reigns. He says he doesn't know if it'll be a rematch with Roman or someone else as his first challenger, but he's ready for whoever it is, he'll fight with everything in him to keep this championship and he'll be damned if anyone is going to take it away from him. This is now the Kevin Owens show, and since he wasn't given a match tonight, he'll sit back and scout his future competition. The Owens era starts now.

    Match #1:
    American Alpha vs The Club

Anderson charges Gable to start but gets tossed overhead into the corner. Back and forth match here with neither team truly able to gain the advantage and keep control for awhile. At one point fairly early on, American Alpha go for their finisher but it's blocked and Anderson hits a spinebuster on Gable followed by tagging in Gallows who lifts him onto his shoulders, and as Anderson hits him with the boot of doom, Gallows slams him down onto the mat which gets a 2 count. The Club keep control for awhile here as they beat down Gable, but eventually he fights back and after hitting his comeback, he connects with a moonsault for 2 on Gallows. Shortly afterwards, Gallows has tagged in Anderson but he gets blocked on a running move, which sets up Gable to toss him in the corner and make a tag to Jordan and they hit Grand Amplitude for the pin and the win.

    Winners: American Alpha via pinfall.
Undisputed Era are backstage, and Cole is sitting on a throne. He says last week went exactly how it was supposed to, he became the King Of The Ring, and Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish are the new World Tag Team Champions. Now tonight they continue to prove their dominance as they face the team of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and The Usos. They don't care about family bloodlines or who used to be partners with who in The Shield, because none of that is as important as the undisputed truth that soon every belt on this brand will be held by them, and there's nothing anybody can do to stop it.

    Match #2:
    Jack Gallagher vs Aleister Black

A fight from the moment the bell rang with both guys turning it into a brawl with strikes rather than a wrestling match. The fight quickly goes to the floor after Gallagher hits a cannon ball through the middle rope and it stays out there for awhile with the count being broken once as they brawl before Black tosses Jack back into the ring. Jack gets in a couple cheap shots to regain the advantage and grabs a small package pin, but only gets two. He waits for Black to get up and hits a headbutt, but again only gets 2. He tosses Aleister into the corner and hits him with the Gentleman Dropkick, but again only gets 2. He gets frustrated and goes to the top for a twisting moonsault, but Black moves out of the way. Black takes control from here including a flurry of strikes on Jack but Jack bails from the ring, only to get taken out with a top rope dive. Black picks up Gallagher, but Gallagher rakes the eyes and leg sweeps Black into the barricade and hit with a 2nd headbutt and slammed into the ring post. Jack slides into the ring and distracts the ref to avoid Black being counted out, wanting to win by pin or submission, but this proves to be a mistake as Black slides in behind him, and once Jack turns around, he gets drilled with Black Mass, which is enough to pick up the victory.

    Winner: Aleister Black via pinfall.
The Iiconics are hanging out backstage and in the background, we see the Raw Women's Championship sitting on a pedestal. Billie talks about how great Peyton is for beating Ronda Rousey again, and Peyton laughs and nods in agreement. The champ says Ronda thought she had her trapped by getting her into a cage, but she was too angry and focused on trying to hurt her to use her little brain, and that's why she lost. Billie warns Peyton that Shawn Michaels has set up a match tonight to see who will challenge her at Backlash, but Peyton says there's no need to worry, because no matter who wins none of them will be able to end the ICONIC reign she's having. They continue laughing as the segment ends.

    Match #3:
    Natalya vs Shayna Baszler

Complete domination from Shayna here as she takes her time beating the hell out of Nattie and picking her apart in her debut. She even toyed with Nattie at one point by locking her into the Kirifuda Clutch on the floor and forcing her to tap out there, just to play mind games. Nattie does manage a bit of a comeback at one point including the Nattie by Nature discus clothesline, but Shayna kicks out at 1. She locks in the Sharpshooter right afterwards, but Shayna escapes fairly quickly. After beating down Nattie more, including causing a minor back injury, Shayna forces Nattie to tap out in the ring to the Kirifuda Clutch.

    Winner: Shayna Baszler via submission.

After the match, Shayna decides to inflict more punishment, starting with a jumping knee to the back of the ref before putting Nattie back into the Kirifuda Clutch, sending a message to the entire locker room by destroying her first opponent.
Shawn Michaels is in his office as Ember Moon walks in, Shawn welcomes her in and says he was very impressed with her performance against Bianca Belair last week, and he thinks maybe he made a mistake not drafting her so he has an offer for her. He says he's giving her another match with Bianca next week and if she wins, she gets a Raw contract. Ember thanks him for the opportunity and says he won't regret it, and leaves the office with a big smile on her face. However as soon as she leaves the office, she gets blasted with a chair by Bianca Belair! Bianca stands over the fallen Ember and says she'll see her next week, before hitting her across the back with the chair and walking away with a smirk on her face.

    Match #4:
    Heath Slater vs Braun Strowman

Braun runs over Slater to start, but when he tries to pick up the smaller man for a suplex, Slater blocks it and shocks the world by hitting one of his own. Slater taunts while soaking in the shocked cheers from the fans, but that's the beginning of his downfall as he gets a dropkick before being thrown across the ring with a biel before being thrown out of the ring and run over again. Braun gets him back in the ring and hits a running powerbomb on Slater and a Reverse Chokeslam for the pin.

    Winner: Braun Strowman via pinfall.

After the match, Braun is celebrating but suddenly Dean Ambrose slides into the ring behind him! He waits for Braun to turn around and charges him looking for a running crossbody, but he bounces off! Ambrose manages to take him down with a bulldog but Dirty Deeds is blocked, and Braun knocks him down with a Powerslam.
Roman Reigns is backstage with The Usos and Roman says King of the Ring didn't go his way, he came so close to winning the World Heavyweight Championship, but Owens was simply the better man last night and he'll give him his credit, he earned that belt. But he's not done with him yet and he's planning to get that title real soon. As for tonight, he's got his family with him and together they're gonna get themselves back on track by beating the Undisputed Era, The Usos trash talk the Undisputed Era and say they got lucky last night, but tonight they right a wrong.

Match #5: Raw Women's Championship #1 Contenders Match
Alexa Bliss vs Asuka vs Charlotte Flair vs Mickie James

Bliss and Mickie fight while Charlotte fights with Asuka for a good chunk of the beginning of the match. At one point Asuka hits the running hip attack on Bliss for 2 but Mickie breaks it up. Mickie pulls Asuka up and punches her, but she's quickly dropped with the Empress Kick but the pin is too close to the ropes. Shortly after Charlotte hits Natural Selection on Mickie but Bliss breaks up the pin at 2. Later on Asuka is in complete control of the match as she beats down Mickie in the ring with various strikes all the while keeping the blondes on the floor by knocking them off the apron every time they get up, until Mickie gets a counter in. The finish comes when Alexa Bliss hits insult to injury on Mickie as Asuka hits the running hip attack on Charlotte right into a pin as Bliss is distracted setting up her DDT, and this lets Asuka pick up the win.

Winner and #1 Contender To The Raw Women's Championship: Asuka via pinfall
    Match #6:
    Ricochet vs Cesaro

King of the Ring rematch here as Cesaro looks to avenge his loss. Chain wrestling to start before Cesaro takes control, and he becomes more and more aggressive as the match goes on. At one point Ricochet kicked out of the Cesaro Swing, which caused Cesaro to lose it and drop the ref with an uppercut after arguing the count before grabbing a chair and beating the hell out of Ricochet with it. Cesaro put Ricochet on the top turnbuckle and went for a superplex onto the chair, but Ricochet kicked him away, and nailed a diving rana into a pin but the ref was still down. In the end Ricochet goes for the 630, but Cesaro blocks it and rolls up Ricochet for 2. Cesaro goes for the Neutralizer, but he gets backdropped and this lets Ricochet hit the 630 shortly after for the pin.

    Winner: Ricochet via pinfall.
Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are sitting on crates backstage when Finn Balor walks up to them and asks them what happened to them, they lost their aggressive edge. Anderson and Gallows disagree with him and say they almost beat American Alpha but Balor says they are one of the best teams in the world, they should be much more successful than they are. Anderson says at least they've had matches on Raw, and mentions Balor not having much success since he had to vacate the Universal Title a few years ago, and Balor admits he's right, and says maybe the best way for all of them to have success is together. Anderson and Gallows think for a moment before nodding in agreement, and they hold up the too sweet, but Balor shakes his head and says this isn't the old days, it's time for something new. He leads them away off camera.

    Match #7:
Undisputed Era vs Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and The Usos

A long back and forth match here as UE manage to control the majority of the match by isolating Rollins from his team, but anytime they go for a pin it gets broken up. Eventually he got a hot tag off to Jimmy and things got more back and forth from there, and at various points in the match everyone got a signature or a finisher in, but in the end Roman Reigns dropped Cole with a superman punch while Fish and O'Reilly fought with Rollins and Jey on the floor, and Roman spears Strong for the pin and the win.

Winners: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and The Usos
    Backlash Card:

    Raw Women's Championship Match:

    Smackdown Week 5:

Samoa Joe comes out to the ring and talks about how Almas thought he had him right where he wanted him after pinning him twice, but when it came to facing him man to man, he simply wasn't ready and he got choked out. Now he's ready for whoever his next challenger may be, but first he has some business to handle, the man who's gotten the jump on him a couple times now, Randy Orton. He challenges Orton to fight him right now and tosses the mic down once Orton comes out.

    Match #1:
    Samoa Joe vs Randy Orton

Joe dominates early on but Orton fights back, eventually using a body slam to knock the big man off his feet. Orton's attempt to keep control is quickly foiled once Joe is back up as he punches the viper into the ropes, then tosses him onto the apron before kneeing him in the face a couple times, knocking him to the floor which lets him follow up with a suicide dive through the middle rope. Joe throws Orton back in the ring and covers for a 2 count. Orton grabs a school boy pin out of nowhere which is also only 2, but he follows it up with the apron DDT and an RKO to pin the champ.

    Winner: Randy Orton via pinfall.
Miz is in his office and says tonight he has set up two contenders matches to see who the next challengers to Samoa Joe and Bayley will be. First up for the women it'll be Kairi Sane vs Sonya Deville vs Becky Lynch vs Ruby Riott vs Sasha Banks vs Zelina Vega in an elimination match. And for the men, it'll be AJ Styles vs Drew McIntyre vs Big E vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Chris Jericho, again in an elimination match. He then says thanks to Joe losing earlier though he's made things harder on himself, because now it'll be a triple threat match with him defending against the winner of tonight's match and Randy Orton at Extreme Rules. He promises an awesome night before sending things back to the ring.

    Match #2:
    Tyler Bate vs Bobby Roode

Roode tries a roll up right away but Bate kicks out at 2. He tries to go on the attack but Bate takes control early and beats down Roode a bit. Bate hits a rolling kick for 2, but when he tries to follow up with the Tyler Driver, Roode slips out of it and drops Bate with a spinebuster which also only gets 2. Roode throws Bate to the floor and uses the environment to his advantage to beat down Bate and take control. He gets him back in the ring and goes for a Glorious DDT, but Bate counters with a northern lights suplex for 2. Bate hits another rolling kick for 2 more but again the Tyler Driver is blocked and Roode spears Bate. Roode gets angry and knocks out the ref before grabbing a chair and slamming it into the gut of Bate before dropping him with a DDT onto it. He gets rid of the chair as the ref is getting back up, and this time he connects with the Glorious DDT to pick up the win.

    Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall.
Bobby Roode stays in the ring after celebrating his win and grabs a mic, and brags about how the glorious era of Bobby Roode is upon us and nobody is going to stop him. Soon he'll take that WWE Championship and change Smackdown for the better, but before he can get into his plans, he's cut off by the music of Velveteen Dream. Dream comes out onto the stage and says he hopes Roode didn't think they were done with each other yet. Roode shakes his head and says he has better things to do than fight Dream again, but Dream lays out a challenge to him, face him at Extreme Rules and he can pick the match type. Roode thinks about it for a minute, and then agrees, but tells him he'll find out the stipulation later. Dream grins and says he's looking forward to it before winking at Roode.

    Match #3:
The Riott Squad (Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan) vs Carmella & Candice LeRae

Mella hits a running strike on Sarah to start and knocks Liv off the apron, but Logan takes control and beats her down a bit before tagging in Liv for a double suplex. Liv beats down Carmella for a bit before tagging Sarah back in, and they hit her with punches to the gut before tossing her across the ring, but this lets Candice tag herself into the match. Candice cleans house for a bit with some running strikes to keep Logan off her feet, and even clotheslines Liv out of the ring when she comes in, but this lets Logan roll her up for a 2 count. Candice takes back control after blocking a punch from Logan and hitting her with a springboard dropkick followed by a moonsault for the 2 count. Candice goes out onto the apron and seems to be looking for another springboard move, but Logan crawls over to Morgan instead and makes the tag as Candice is diving, causing her to crash and burn before getting up and tagging in Carmella before Morgan can hit her. Everything breaks down after Carmella locks in the Code of Silence on Liv, with Sarah breaking it up but Candice disposes of her and shortly after gets tagged in, allowing her to hit a single leg codebreaker for the pin.

Winners: Carmella and Candice LeRae via pinfall.
Chris Jericho is walking backstage, but suddenly the lights in the hallway go out! When they come back on, Jericho is busted open and laying on the floor out cold as Bray Wyatt kneels in front of him, laughing manically.

    Match #4:
    Mustafa Ali vs Killian Dain

Dain goes on the attack instantly but Ali snaps off a rana out of nowhere. Dain takes control from here and beats the hell out of Ali throughout the rest of the match. He chokeslams Ali through the announce table but Ali beats the count to get back in the ring. Ali fights back after hitting a comeback followed by a slingshot neckbreaker for 2. Dain snaps though and drives Ali through the barrier at ringside before bringing him back into the ring and splashing him in the corner, followed by a running crossbody and ulster plantation for the win.

    Winner: Killian Dain via pinfall.

After the match Dain is back on the attack, hitting a vader bomb followed by a second running crossbody and ulster plantation. Due to the post match attack, Mustafa Ali suffered a minor rib injury.
Backstage, Bayley is in the interview area with the Smackdown Women's Championship over her shoulder. She gets asked about beating Nia and Becky to win the title and she says it wasn't easy and they put up a hell of a fight, but in the end she was able to pick up the win and gives a lot of credit to her fans for willing her on. She gets asked who she wants to see win the contenders match tonight and she says she has no preference, but it would be fun to face someone new like Zelina or Kairi, or maybe her best friend Sasha. She then walks off to go find a good seat to watch the match from.

Match #5: Smackdown Women's Championship #1 Contenders Elimination Match
Kairi Sane vs Sonya Deville vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks vs Zelina Vega vs Ruby Riott

Everyone pairs off to fight for awhile but within a few minutes, Ruby hits the Riott Kick on Sonya for the first elimination. Sasha begins fighting with Ruby and Kairi both as Becky fights with Zelina on the floor. Eventually Becky locks Kairi into the disarmher, but Sasha pulls the ref out of the ring and proceeds to attack Becky, eventually eliminating her with a Bank Statement. Zelina pairs off with Sasha while Ruby and Kairi pair off with Kairi hitting the Insane Elbow for a close 2 count as Sasha hits Bankrupt on the floor. Eventually Kairi hits the sliding elbow in the corner before climbing up to the top, and a second Insane Elbow gets the elimination of Vega. A three way brawl ensues for a bit but eventually Sasha hits a frog splash on Ruby for 2 but gets hit with a spinning back fist from Kairi, causing her to roll out. Kairi and Ruby duke it out for a bit while Sasha recovers on the floor, but Kairi catches Ruby with a roll up pin, eliminating her and getting the match down to 2. However as she gets up, Sasha blindsides her with a clothesline to the back of the head and locks her into the Bank Statement, getting the submission victory shortly after.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender: Sasha Banks via submission.
Pete Dunne is in his locker room backstage and talks about how he came up short at King of the Ring, but he's already got a new target in mind. He doesn't say who, but he does say we'll all find out soon.

    Match #6:
    Lince Dorado vs The Revival

It's not known who was supposed to face Dorado, but he has no choice but to try and fight off the Revival who use the numbers game to their advantage and are able to beat him down in fairly quick order. Eventually they hit the Shatter Machine, but Wilder pulls him up at the 2 count. This leads to a second Shatter Machine which finally ends the match.

    Winners: The Revival via pinfall.
The Miz appears on the tron after coming out of the doctors office, and says he has some bad news, Chris Jericho is unable to compete tonight due to the attack earlier in the night by Bray Wyatt. This is met with some boos but Miz says not to worry because he found an awesome replacement for the match...him! He walks off after this.

Match #7: WWE Championship #1 Contenders Elimination Match
AJ Styles vs Drew McIntyre vs Big E vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs The Miz

Nakamura and Drew double team Big E to start while AJ follows Miz to the floor and takes the fight to him there. Eventually Drew turns on Shinsuke and drops him with a big boot as AJ grabs a chair from under the ring, and starts beating Miz with it until eventually Nakamura comes charging at Styles and drops him with the Kinshasa. Later on Big E hits a belly to belly on Drew followed by a running splash, but before he can pin, Miz slides into the ring to attack him, and ends up dropping him with a Skull Crushing Finale to get the first elimination of the match. Nakamura takes control after this, laying everyone out with a kendo stick before hitting AJ with a Kinshasa for the second time on the floor, followed by dropping Miz with one in the ring, but when he goes for the trifecta on Drew, Drew counters with a powerslam and Nakamura is forced to roll out of the ring. Shortly after this as Drew is stalking Shinsuke on the floor, AJ hits the Styles Clash on Miz, and gets the second elimination. AJ and Drew fight for a bit as Nakamura grabs a table and sets it up in the corner, but he ends up being put through it by Drew, but AJ throws Drew out of the ring and locks in the Calf Crusher on Nakamura, making him tap out and eliminating him. AJ and Drew fight it out for a couple minutes but Drew blocks the Styles Clash with a backdrop, then hits the Future Shock DDT for the win.

    Raw Week 6:

The show starts with Braun Strowman storming down to the ring and he wastes no time calling out Dean Ambrose, wanting answers for the attempted attack last week. Ambrose comes down to the ring and says it was nothing personal, he just found the biggest, baddest guy in the yard, and used him to get some attention. Braun says he's got his attention but if he wanted a fight, all he had to do was ask and he can get these hands. In fact he can get them again tonight if he wants. Dean laughs, and says he'll be happy to throw down with Braun, but not tonight, Backlash. Braun quickly accepts the challenge and says not only will he see him there, he'll even give Dean a fighting chance by making it a Hardcore Match, that way he's not bound by rules when he beats the hell out of him. Ambrose says that's going to be the biggest mistake Braun has ever made because that's his specialty and it's on. Dean goes to leave the ring, but quickly turns around and smashes Braun in the head with the mic! Braun stumbles as Dean kicks him in the gut, and drops him with Dirty Deeds! He quickly bails from the ring and grabs a chair from under the ring, but Braun sits up and stares him down! The two men who have quickly turned to rivals stare each other down for a moment, before Ambrose tosses the chair down and chuckles as he hops the barricade and exits through the crowd.

Match #1: If Ember Moon Wins, She Earns A Raw Contract
    Ember Moon vs Bianca Belair

Chain wrestling to start before Bianca takes down Ember before dead lifting her up over her head and slamming her down. She whips Ember into the corner and charges in, but Ember counters with a DDT. Ember pulls Bianca up and goes for a roll up, but Belair blocks, but Ember blocks an attempted strike and hits a series of strikes of her own, but Bianca finally takes her down after a scoop slam before lifting her up onto her shoulders, and powerbombing her to the floor. Bianca waits for Ember to get back up then goes after her, but Ember throws her into the guard rail before draping her across it and kicking her in the head. She tosses her into the ring and goes up to the top turnbuckle, and hits a top rope meteora for 2. Handstand forearm smash in the corner by Ember followed by the Eclipse for a very close 2 count, and frustration begins to set in as Ember takes a moment to argue with the ref which lets Belair get up, and pick her up into powerbomb position, and throws her backwards with a facebuster. She follows up by lifting Ember and drops her with the KOD for a close 2 count of her own. She gets frustrated and stomps the hell out of Moon, but eventually Ember kips up and hits her comeback out of nowhere on Belair before taking her down with a leg sweep and throwing her out of the ring. She dives to the floor and hits a second Eclipse, before tossing her into the ring and rolling her up for a 3 count.

Winner via pinfall and new Raw Superstar: Ember Moon
A video package plays showing times in the past where Asuka has beaten The Iiconics. At the end, Asuka pops up and says history repeats itself at Backlash. She smiles as the video ends.

    Match #2:
Heavy Machinery vs Authors of Pain

Otis and Akam trade blows to start before hitting some slams at each other until both guys end up making tags and AOP take control now by beating down Tucker Knight for awhile. They end up getting a 2 count after a powerbomb/neckbreaker combo but Tucker fights back after this with Otis clearing Akam from the ring and Tucker hits a few running clotheslines on Rezar before eventually making the tag to Otis, and he clears house for a bit, even knocking down Akam as he tried to come in illegally and throwing him out of the ring, but this lets Rezar hit him with a german suplex. Rezar then pulls Otis up, but Otis backdrops him and hits the Caterpillar, but Akam hits a german suplex to prevent a pin attempt. Akam pulls him up, but Otis headbutts him and hits a big slam causing him to roll out of the ring, as Rezar spears Tucker off the apron. Rezar and Otis turn their attention back to each other and Rezar gets the better of it with a big elbow to the side of the head followed by a powerbomb and a top rope splash, and it's enough for the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Authors of Pain via pinfall.
Jack Gallagher comes down to the ring and issues a challenge to Aleister Black for a rematch, saying how if it wasn't for him having to prevent him from being counted out last week, he would have beat Black. But Black took advantage of an opening and snuck in a Black Mass out of nowhere. He says he respects Black for it, but he still has something to prove and they aren't done yet. He threatens to not leave until he gets what he wants, but Raw GM Shawn Michaels appears on the tron instead and says there won't be any IC Title Match tonight. But he has good news for Jack, he's giving him a chance to earn the right to challenge Aleister Black at Backlash, if he can win an 8 man battle royal later tonight. Jack says that's not good enough, and he shouldn't have to go through 7 other men to get a rematch, but when Shawn offers to give his spot in the battle royal to someone else, Jack finally agrees to it and leaves the ring.

    Match #3:
American Alpha vs The Hardy Boyz

Back and forth match with lots of fast paced action. AA manage to control the action after a few minutes and eventually hit the Grand Amplitude, but Matt breaks up the pin attempt. Matt now enters the ring and throws Jeff into their corner before going out onto the apron and tagging himself in, before hitting a clothesline on Gable who was back on his feet. He loads up a Side Effect, but Gable blocks it and dropkicks him, then hits a moonsault for 2. Gable whips Matt into the American Alpha corner and tags in Jordan, and they hit Grand Amplitude into a pin as Gable german suplexs Jeff to prevent him breaking up the pin, and Matt isn't able to kick out.

    Winners via pinfall: American Alpha
Backstage, American Alpha are talking after their match when Kurt Angle walks up to them. He congratulates them on the win but says they need to take things to the next level if they wanna become champions and end up going down as one of the best teams of all-time. Gable and Jordan look a little unsure of what to say but Angle chimes in again and offers to mentor them, teach them everything he knows. They think over the offer for a minute before agreeing to it, much to the pleasure of the fans who can be heard cheering in the arena. Angle says they have a lot to talk about.

    Match #4:

Dakota bounces off the ropes and attempts to lay out Shayna, but she gets caught in a Kerifuda Clutch! Dakota struggles for a bit, before eventually passing out.
The Iiconics are in their locker room with another edition of their new talk show, Iiconic Talk. They talk about how Asuka became number one contender last week and Billie asks Peyton if she's afraid, and Peyton says she is...she's afraid of her ugly multi colored hair and the fact it glows in the dark and maybe her face. The two start laughing, but suddenly Asuka is standing in the doorway. Billie and Peyton jump up and beg for mercy as Asuka moves in front of their table, but suddenly Peyton kicks over the table causing Asuka to stumble backwards and the Iiconics take the chance to run out of the room and manage to escape Asuka.

    Match #5:
    Lio Rush vs Kevin Owens

Rush bails out of the ring right away and debates grabbing a weapon, but changes his mind and charges at Owens, only to get dropped with a punch. He goes up for a Frog Splash, but Owens gets the knees up to block it. He throws Rush into the corner and hits a cannon ball then follows it up with a pop up powerbomb for the pin.

    Winner via pinfall: Kevin Owens.
Cesaro is in a dark room and says he's not happy about being left out of the battle royal tonight and wonders why he didn't get the same opportunity as other people. He talks about how he destroyed Heath Slater during the King Of The Ring tournament and almost made it to the semi finals of the tournament, but yet here he is not able to even get a match. He promises that people will suffer soon, one way or the other.

Gallagher begins fighting with Breeze as Bryan fights with Tozawa until Tozawa slams Bryan down while Breeze dropkicks Gallagher and now Breeze and Tozawa begin fighting. A minute later, Bryan gets to his feet and charges at Tozawa, who low bridges him to the floor, picking up a surprise elimination, but as soon as he turns around, he gets hit with a running clothesline from Jack that sends him over the top rope to the floor, and suddenly it's down to the final 2. Gallagher and Breeze trade blows for a couple minutes before Jack ducks a superkick and headbutts Breeze causing him to fall into the ropes, and he quickly gets eliminated.

Winner and NEW #1 Contender To The IC Title: Jack Gallagher
Match #7: World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Match
Seth Rollins vs Adam Cole vs Roman Reigns

A very good match as all 3 guys tore the house down in an attempt to become the #1 contender. All 3 guys manage to hit finishers at different points for 2 counts. At one point Reigns stacks up both guys in the corner and splashes both, causing Cole to roll out of the ring and he hits Rollins with a Superman Punch and Spear, but Cole breaks up the pin. Cole hits Reigns with a brainbuster onto the knee and goes for Panama Sunrise on Rollins, but he gets hit with a DDT instead, which lets Rollins take control for a bit. At the end of the match, Cole hits the Last Shot on Reigns, but Rollins breaks up the pin and throws the King of the Ring into the corner for a Buckle Bomb, but before he can follow up, Roderick Strong runs out to the ring with a chair! Strong slides into the ring, but Rollins ducks a chair shot and hits him with a superkick, but Cole is back to his feet and clubs Rollins in the back before restraining him as he yells for Strong to get up. Strong gets up and picks up the chair, swinging for the fences as he tries to knock out Rollins...but Rollins ducks and he nails Adam Cole instead! Cole drops and Strong looks distraught as he realizes what he's done, but he has no time to do anything before Rollins spins him around and drops him with a Curb Stomp! Suddenly, Roman Reigns slides into the ring and drops Rollins with a Spear out of nowhere and picks up the sudden victory.

Winner via pinfall and NEW #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns.

Post Match: Reigns takes a moment to celebrate his victory before exiting the ring and walking up the ramp, as Roderick Strong helps Adam Cole to his feet after a hard fought match that saw him suffer a minor injury. The other two members of Undisputed Era walk down the ramp and get into the ring as Strong apologizes for costing Cole the match, but Cole tells him it's okay, he's not mad at him. Fish and O'Reilly ask Cole if he's okay, and he nods to them as Undisputed Era begin leaving the ring together, but suddenly, Adam Cole hits Roderick Strong with a superkick to the back of the head! Strong drops as Cole has a crazed look cross his face as he begins stomping on Strong, but quickly Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish pull him away to the corner and hold him back, yelling at him, as Roderick Strong slowly gets to his feet holding the back of the head as Fish goes over to him and checks on him, seemingly trying to keep the peace as Cole yells at Strong, but suddenly Fish shoots O'Reilly a look, and they drop Strong suddenly with a High-Low Attack! The fans are in shock as Fish drags Strong back to his feet and lifts him up for a brainbuster, and O'Reilly hits him with a kick to the back, Chasing The Dragon! Strong is clearly out of it as Cole smirks at the actions of the tag team champions, and he yells at them to pick Strong up, and they do as their told, restraining their former friend, which lets Adam Cole drop him with the Last Shot! Adam Cole kicks Roderick Strong out of the ring as Kyle grabs a mic and hands it to Cole.

    Smackdown Week 6:

The show's opening is quickly cut off by a video of Bray Wyatt in a dark room laughing manically as he paces in front of a tied up Chris Jericho, who's barely conscious. Bray tells him this is all happening because he stood in the way of the darkness taking over and defeated him. He says he must right that wrong, and he must do it at Extreme Rules. He gets in the face of Jericho, and laughs manically again before kicking him over in the chair and cutting the light from the room.

AJ Styles walks out onto the stage, getting ready for action in tonight's opening match, but instead Killian Dain jumps him from behind with a shot to the back of the head with the US Title! Dain waits for Styles to get up and hits him with a running kick to the face, then lifts him up and powerbombs him off the stage! Security now runs out and prevent Dain from doing further damage as doctors go check on Styles, who's not moving on the floor.

Randy Orton is standing backstage and laughs about defeating Samoa Joe again last week. He says he has Joe's number and his days as champion are numbered, and it doesn't matter how many people he has to go through to take the title. He then talks about Drew McIntyre, saying he has a bright future and one day he might even win a World Title, but that's not happening at Extreme Rules. He then mentions he heard Samoa Joe has issued an open challenge for tonight and has promised if whoever answers it can beat him, they'll be added to the title match at Extreme Rules, and says he'll be watching the match closely, but he has no intention of getting involved in it. If Joe wants to make things harder on himself that's his problem and he has no desire to do him a favor, or purposely add someone else he has to go through.

    Match #1:
Ruby Riott w/ Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan vs Sonya Deville w/ Mandy Rose

Sonya dominates to start until Ruby leapfrogs a spear attempt and grabs a roll up for an early 2 count. Ruby takes control from here with a series of kicks, but Sonya fights back and hits a series of running strikes which leads to Liv Morgan getting on the apron to distract her. This leads to Ruby taking control back and eventually she hits a trio of superkicks in the corner for 2, followed by a frog splash for 2 more. Ruby is getting frustrated and picks Sonya up, dropping her with a Riott Kick, but Mandy gets on the apron to distract the ref. The end of the match comes when Sonya locks in a guillotine choke on Ruby and nearly gets a submission but she manages to get out of it. Sonya drops her as soon as she gets up to her feet with a jumping kick, but as she pins Liv pulls the referee out of the ring! Sonya snaps here and dives onto Liv and Sarah but this leads to a dq as they fight back and Mandy runs over.

    Winner via DQ: Sonya Deville

Post Match: Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville continue to brawl with Liv and Sarah, but Ruby grabs a steel chair and lays them both out with it, and The Riott Squad beat the hell out of them from here easily, and leave them laying as they stand over them with evil smiles on their face.
Backstage in his office, The Miz announces to go with tonight's main event of Samoa Joe's open challenge, he's also set up 3 tag team matches. The first two being tag team title contenders matches since Street Profits "want the smoke" so bad, he's giving them 2 challengers at Extreme Rules in a TLC Match. The first match will be War Raiders vs New Day, and the second will be The Ascension vs The Bludgeon Brothers. As for the third tag match? It'll be a tornado tag match with Bayley and Sasha Banks teaming up against Carmella and Candice LeRae, and if Carmella and Candice win, the women's title match at Extreme Rules will be a fatal 4 way. However if Bayley and Sasha win, whoever gets the win for the team will be able to pick any stipulation they want for the match and it'll stay a singles match. He also quickly makes it official that Bray Wyatt and Chris Jericho will have a Falls Count Anywhere Match at Extreme Rules.

Match #2: Tag Team Title #1 Contenders Match
    War Raiders vs New Day

Kofi and Xavier compete for New Day, looking for a speed advantage over the powerful duo with Hanson and Kofi starting the match for their teams. A bit of a back and forth battle at first before Kofi takes control after countering a powerbomb and making a couple quick tags with Woods, using double team moves to wear down the bigger man. Eventually Hanson fights back and beats down Woods, including a powerbomb and top rope splash for a 2 count. He makes a tag to Rowe, who lifts Hanson up and rams him into Woods in the corner before hitting a running knee to the face of Woods. Rowe hits a couple more power moves on Woods before spearing Kofi off the apron and hitting a big knee to the face of Woods as he gets up, potentially knocking him out. He covers for a pin, but Kofi breaks it up at the 2 count. Hanson comes in to dispose of Kofi which lets Rowe get Woods in the corner and he tags in Hanson, and they hit Fallout, but Woods somehow manages to kick out! Shortly after this Woods blocks a couple moves and tags in Kofi, who hits a springboard dropkick on Hanson before knocking Rowe off the apron and hitting a running double stomp on Hanson, and eventually he tags Woods back in and they hit a blitz of strikes on Hanson for a 2 count. The end of the match comes when Rowe hits a superman punch into a pin, but Kofi breaks it up, only for Hanson to enter the ring and wipe him out with a running crossbody! War Raiders stack up New Day in the corner before Hanson splashes them both, and Kofi rolls out of the ring which leaves an opening for War Raiders to hit a second Fallout which is enough to pick up the victory.

Winners via pinfall and #1 Contenders to the tag titles: War Raiders
Lince Dorado comes out to the ring and calls out Revival for last week's attack and dares them to fight him now. They come out and eventually Dawson agrees to fight him in a singles match.

    Match #3:
Lince Dorado vs Scott Dawson w/ Dash Wilder

Dorado goes on the attack right away and is very aggressive, but Dawson gets a cheap shot in to slow him down and take control of the match. He works over the leg of Dorado for awhile, but Dorado eventually fights him off and gets back to his feet, hitting a springboard rana and this sends Dawson to the floor to regroup. Dawson slides back into the ring and Dorado instantly drop kicks him before putting him on the top turnbuckle and hitting a spanish fly for a 2 count. Wilder now grabs the leg of Dorado, then gets on the apron to distract him, which lets Dawson recover and roll out of the ring to grab a chair. He slides in with it and puts it down before he throws the ref out of the ring, then grabs the chair and clocks Dorado over the head with it, but by time the ref gets back in the ring he's only able to get a 2 count. Dawson hits a couple more moves and gets a couple more 2 counts, which frustrates him and he begins arguing with the ref, which lets Lince recover and roll him up for a close 2 count, but as soon as Dawson is on his feet, he blasts Dorado with a punch with brass knuckles to knock him out!

    Winner via DQ: Lince Dorado

Post Match: Wilder chases the ref away as Dawson smacks Dorado across the back a couple times with the chair, and then drags him to his feet, which lets Revival drop him with a Shatter Machine. They leave, satisfied with their work of destroying the luchador.
Sasha Banks is in the interview area backstage and gets asked about having to team with Bayley tonight while facing her at Extreme Rules. She says it won't be an issue because while they're going to beat the hell out of each other at Extreme Rules, they're still friends and they can focus on the task at hand. Bayley walks up and hugs her, before saying she agrees and that they need to keep their match a singles match before they worry about who's going to be champion or what type of match they'll have, and they leave together.

Match #4: Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Match
The Ascension vs The Bludgeon Brothers

Nothing but a squash match here as The Bludgeon Brothers destroy Ascension, not even letting Konnor make a tag during the match but still taking time to destroy Viktor by bringing him into the ring illegally just to beat him down. The ending comes about 5 minutes in with them hitting The Bludgeoning on Konnor and Harper pins for the win.

Winners and new #1 Contenders: The Bludgeon Brothers
Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are walking backstage, Mandy holding her ribs while Sonya holds her head in pain, and they talk about how Riott Squad are a problem they need to deal with. Mandy tells Sonya she'll get them a tag match next week, but Sonya says it'll still be a numbers game, and if it's gonna be a numbers game anyway they should just ask for a handicap match. Mandy asks her if she's sure and Sonya nods as they keep walking.

    Match #5:
Boss n Hug Connection vs Carmella and Candice LeRae

Chaos throughout thanks to the tornado tag rules and it leads to both teams really being able to do a lot to help each other stay in things. The match quickly turns into a finisher fest but after a long while of everyone trying to finish each other off with big moves, Sasha grabs a roll up out of nowhere on Candice for the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Sasha Banks and Bayley

Post Match: Sasha Banks grabs a mic as Bayley gets handed her championship, and Sasha says she's glad they kept it a singles match, and she's sorry for this but she has to pick a match that'll give her the best odds of winning, a submissions count anywhere match. She drops the mic and leaves the ring with Bayley looking slightly worried.
Bobby Roode reveals he's decided on the match type for his match at Extreme Rules with Velveteen Dream, and it's one that'll prove once and for all he's the better man, a Last Man Standing Match.

    Match #6:
    Samoa Joe vs Pete Dunne

Back and forth match that was very fast paced and filled with brawling and striking, both guys going all out as Dunne tries to earn a big opportunity while Joe tries to snap a losing streak. Joe busts Dunne open fairly early into the match and opens up the cut with a few headbutts, followed by a Muscle Buster for a 2 count. Dunne gets back into things after this and keeps Joe off balance with a bevy of strikes and some joint manipulation moves, working over the arm as well, and eventually he snaps off the x plex and the Bitter End, but he also only gets 2. Dunne takes the fight to the floor and ends up busting open Joe on the ring post followed by throwing him into the steel steps. They get back in the ring at the 8 count and Dunne comes off the top with a double stomp, then picks up Joe and hits a second Bitter End, but again it's only enough for 2. Dunne goes back up for another double stomp, but Joe gets out of the way of this one and drops Dunne with a running boot to the face, followed by tossing him into the corner for a running elbow strike followed by a jumping enziguri. He drags Dunne into the middle of the ring and stalks him, waiting for him to get up and when he does, Joe traps him in the Coquina Clutch, quickly taking him down to the mat and with nowhere to go, Dunne is forced to tap out.

    Winner via submission: Samoa Joe

After the match: Joe celebrates with his championship as Dunne gets to his feet, and Joe offers him a handshake, which Dunne takes before bailing from the ring, as Joe turns around to leave however, he gets dropped with a Claymore Kick out of nowhere from Drew McIntyre! The fans boo as Drew picks up the WWE Championship and holds it up while planting a foot on the chest of Joe, but suddenly Drew gets dropped with an RKO out of nowhere! Orton yells at both of his future opponents and glances at the championship before striking his signature pose to end the show.

    Raw Week 7:

Shawn Michaels is in his office and announces that due to their victories last week, he's set up American Alpha vs Authors of Pain to decide who will be going to Backlash for a tag team title shot. He also says tonight Jack Gallagher and Aleister Black will be picking each other's opponent as well as saying the first match of the night will be The Iiconics vs Asuka and a partner she's chosen, Ember Moon.

    Match #1:
The Iiconics vs Asuka & Ember Moon

Billie and Asuka start for their respective teams, and Billie charges at Asuka, but is dropped with a spinning back fist. She tries to crawl away, being stunned at the quick strike, but Asuka jumps on her and goes right on the attack, and this lets her dominate for a bit with strikes including a hip attack in the corner, but Peyton Royce cheap shots her to catch her attention, then snaps her neck off the top rope to take her down and let Billie get a moment to breathe and tag the champ in. The Iiconics use the numbers advantage to wear down Asuka for awhile, hitting a few double team moves including a backbreaker/double stomp combo for a close 2 count. Asuka fights back as she gets to her feet, knocking down Peyton with a dropkick as Billie enters the ring illegally, only to get hip tossed and thrown out of the ring, before tagging in Ember, who climbs to the top turnbuckle and dives onto Billie with a suicide dive as shes back to her feet. Ember gets back into the ring, but Peyton drops her with a spin kick and she's able to get a tag to Billie after stomping on Ember a few times. The two fight for a couple minutes before they both make tags, and Asuka hits a series of strikes on Peyton followed by her comeback, but when she goes for a running hip attack, Peyton avoids it and rolls her up for 2. A couple minutes later the end of the match came when Asuka hit the running hip attack on Peyton for 2 before Billie breaks up the pin, but Ember comes in and gets rid of her, then hits her with the Eclipse on the floor as Asuka hits a roundhouse kick on Peyton, and she's able to pin the champ before their upcoming title match.

Winners via pinfall: Asuka & Ember Moon
A video package plays showing Dean Ambrose walking the streets, he says he can't wait for Sunday to get his hands on Braun Strowman and slay the monster to prove why nobody should continue to ignore him. He says he's finding the best, and most dangerous weapons he can find out here, and Sunday he hopes Braun is ready to kill him if he wants to win, because that's the only way he's going to stay down.

    Match #2:
    Jack Gallagher vs Rey Mysterio

A lot of strikes to start with neither man truly able to take control of the match for more than a couple moves before losing it. Eventually Jack gains control after dragging Rey's face across the top rope and he wears him down with some strikes before hitting a headbutt for 2. Rey fights back after sidestepping a corner dropkick and hits the 619, but when he tries to follow up with a Frog Splash, it hits knees. Jack picks him up and goes for a body slam but Rey slides down his back and hits a poison rana on Jack followed by going for the West Coast Pop, but he's caught and it's turned into a michinoku driver for 2. Jack wins shortly after with a second headbutt followed by a corner dropkick for the pin.

    Winner via pinfall: Jack Gallagher
Adam Cole has a smirk on his face as he sits on a throne while Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish stand behind him. Cole says last week might have surprised some people, but it's been in the works for a long time. He calls Roderick Strong a loser and says all he was good for was being a lackey and now they've trimmed the fat, and Undisputed Era is better than ever. He says he might not be winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Backlash, but he'll be there, beating the hell out of Roderick Strong if he's man enough to show his face and face him. Kyle speaks up now and says they'll be watching the number one contenders match tonight to see who their next victims will be, but really it doesn't matter because nobody is taking the belts away from him and Bobby. Cole chimes in again and says that's undisputed, before kicking the camera man out of the locker room.

Match #3: World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match
Authors of Pain vs American Alpha w/ Kurt Angle

Akam and Gable start for their teams, and AOP dominates early on but Gable fights back, only for Rezar to sneak in and powerbomb him after he finally takes Akam off his feet. Rezar throws Gable into the corner and pulls Akam up before exiting the ring and a tag happens, which lets AOP hit a sidewalk slam and big boot combo. Rezar keeps control of the match once in legally, beating down Gable and keeping the ring cut in half, much to the dismay of Jason Jordan. Eventually however, Gable counters a powerbomb attempt with a facebuster, and makes the hot tag to Jordan. Jordan enters the ring and hits a couple clotheslines on Rezar, but he gets up and stumbles into his corner which lets Akam tag himself in, but he enters to a greeting of a belly to belly suplex. Rezar goes for a punch but it's blocked and Jordan hits a german suplex on him, causing him to roll out. Jordan knocks down Akam with a dropkick followed by a moonsault, then hits Rezar with one as well on the floor. Jordan taunts to fire up the fans before sliding into the ring, but he gets dropped with a punch to the jaw. Rezar controls him for a bit with some simple power offense before tagging in Akam, and he hits a running clothesline on Jordan for 2. Akam tries to tag in Rezar for The Last Chapter, but Jordan counters and throws Akam into the corner before knocking Rezar off the apron and backing up to the middle of the ring before hitting a running spear in the corner followed by a belly to belly suplex. A minute later Jordan tags in Gable for the Grand Amplitude, and Gable gets the pin while Jordan blocks Rezar with a headlock from breaking it up.

Winners via pinfall and NEW #1 Contenders: American Alpha
Shayna Baszler comes out to the ring and calls out Dakota Kai for attacking her last week. She waits for a moment before Dakota's music hits and she comes down to the ring. Shayna says she's in a good mood so she's going to give her a warning, if she's smart she'll stay out of her way if she doesn't want to get hurt. Shayna gets in the face of Dakota, but she doesn't back down. Instead she says she sees how Shayna keeps attacking her opponents after the match is over, and she was sick of it and wasn't going to stand for it. She says she's dealt with Shayna before and she's not backing down, even challenging her to a match at Backlash. Shayna chuckles and reminds Dakota that anytime they've fought, Dakota couldn't beat her, and says she doesn't think it's worth her time to do it again. Shayna goes to leave, ramming her shoulder into Dakota to brush past her, but this is a mistake as Dakota spins her around and kicks her in the head! Shayna tumbles backwards through the middle rope and out of the ring, as Dakota stands ready to fight as Shayna sits up and glares at her. Shayna shakes her head at her as the segment ends.

    Match #4:
    Alexa Bliss vs Naomi

Bliss dominates pretty much throughout after a hot start with fast paced offense. Naomi does manage to kick out of a DDT and shortly after locks in the Slay-O-Mission, but Bliss escapes it and shortly after wins the match with Twisted Bliss.

    Winner via pinfall: Alexa Bliss
Kurt Angle and American Alpha are backstage as Angle congratulates them on their win and says the next step is them becoming champions this Sunday. Gable thanks Angle for his help and says he isn't sure they could have beat AOP without his knowledge and advice. Jordan says beating a couple monsters was hard enough but beating Undisputed Era is going to be harder, they'll do anything to keep those belts. Angle says luckily they have 6 days to plan for them, and not to worry because he knows they're the better team. They walk out of the locker room.

    Match #5:
Adam Cole w/ Undisputed Era vs Ricochet

They lock up to start and Cole backs Ricochet into the corner, and cheap shots him which makes Ricochet mad and he charges out of the corner with a hurricanrana. Ricochet stomps on him for a bit until Cole gets back to his feet and shoves Ricochet out of the ring and onto the apron before hitting an enziguri to knock him to the floor. Cole takes time to taunt until Ricochet gets back in, but he gets knocked into the ropes, before picking him up and dropping him throat first on the top rope. Cole taunts again but this proves to be a mistake as Ricochet gets up and hits him with a dropkick along with a couple running strikes followed by a roundhouse kick to the head, causing Cole to roll out of the ring looking for a break, but no luck as Ricochet dives onto him. Ricochet tries to beat Cole down on the floor, but Fish comes over and pulls him away, and ends up throwing him into the ring. Cole is able to recover by time Ricochet is back on the floor, but Cole whips him into the steps then hits him with a brainbuster on the floor, then tosses him back into the ring and finally comes back in himself, climbing to the top turnbuckle so he can dive onto Ricochet with a big splash into a pin for a 2 count. Ricochet kips up and hits his comeback on Cole, but O'Reilly gets on the apron to distract him and this lets Cole recover and roll him up out of nowhere for the pin.

    Winner via pinfall: Adam Cole

Post match: Cole rolls out of the ring smirking at getting one over on Ricochet, who's back up and glaring at him, but suddenly he realizes O'Reilly and Fish have gotten up onto the ring apron on opposite sides of the ring. He knows where this is going and charges Fish, knocking him off the apron but O'Reilly takes out his knee with a chopblock to knock him down and begins stomping on him as Fish slides back in and makes it a double team. Ricochet ends up getting back to his feet and he starts fighting both of them off, but Adam Cole slides into the ring and hits him with a Last Shot to the back of the head! Ricochet is down and the triple team is on as they stomp the hell out of him, before Cole yells at the tag champs to pick him up, and they do, holding his arms to keep him up as Cole bounces off the ropes, and hits another Last Shot! Undisputed Era now get to their feet and strike their pose over the fallen Ricochet as they soak in the boos from the fans.
Kevin Owens is backstage in the interview area and is asked about facing Roman Reigns again this Sunday. Owens says he would have liked a new challenge, but he's fine with a rematch with Roman and he's looking forward to proving King of the Ring wasn't a fluke by beating him again. He holds up the World Heavyweight Title and says this is the prize he's fought all along to get and this means he can provide better for his family and nobody is taking it from him, not even Roman.

    Match #6:
    Dakota Kai vs Lacey Evans

Dakota makes quick work of Lacey, pretty much dominating the whole match with a variety of strikes and quick attacks. She wins after a couple minutes with a running kick in the corner, a new aggressive side coming out as she took care of business very quickly.

    Winner via pinfall: Dakota Kai

Post match: Shayna Baszler sprints down to the ring and hits Dakota with a running knee to the face! Shayna pulls Dakota up and goes for the Kirifuda Clutch, but Dakota fights her off and hits the Kai-Ropractor, the front flip backstabber! Dakota grins as she exits the ring and heads up the ramp, as Shayna crawls to the ropes and demands a mic. She sits up against the ropes and yells at Dakota, who's now on the stage and tells her if she wants to get on her bad side, fine, she'll see her on Sunday. Dakota smiles but Shayna warns her she's going to get hurt and it'll be her own fault as she holds the back of her head.
Roman Reigns is backstage as The Usos come up to him, and congratulate him on becoming #1 contender last week. Roman thanks them but says the real fight is coming on Sunday and he can't lose to Owens again. Jey tells him not to worry and Jimmy offers to buy him a drink tonight, but Roman says no and says he's only focused on beating Owens. They shrug and tell him to text him if he changes his mind.

    Match #7:
    Aleister Black vs Seth Rollins

Chain wrestling to start but afterwards Black hits a flurry of strikes to take down Rollins. Rollins gets back up and blocks a punch before going on the attack and using a couple suplexs and some kicks to wear down Black. Eventually Rollins hits the Curb Stomp for 2, but Black kicks out and tosses him out of the ring then dives on him. He throws him against the barricade before throwing him back into the ring for a diving double stomp for 2. Black waits for Rollins to get up and drops him with a bicycle knee strike and a roundhouse kick for 2 more. Black goes up top but Rollins rolls out of the way of another double stomp and hits a couple clotheslines followed by a frog splash for 2 of his own. A few minutes later the end of the match comes as Black goes for Black Mass, but Rollins ducks it and hits the jumping knee strike out of nowhere for the upset win.

    Winner via pinfall: Seth Rollins

Post match: Rollins celebrates as Black is recovering in the corner, but suddenly Jack Gallagher's music hits. Jack strolls out onto the stage with a mic and smirks before saying it looks like Black is losing his touch, he barely beat him, and now he's lost to Seth Rollins. Black pulls himself to his feet and glares at Jack, who says he's talked to Shawn Michaels and got their match made into a 2 out of 3 falls match on Sunday, that way Aleister can't get lucky again. He tells him to enjoy his last days with the IC Title, and to make sure he polishes it for him because after Sunday, it'll be his. Raw ends with Black glaring at Jack.

    Smackdown Week 7:

    Match #1: Handicap Match
Fire and Desire (Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville) vs The Riott Squad

Mandy and Sarah start for their teams with Sarah being aggressive to start and after a flurry of offense to start, Mandy escapes her grasp and makes a tag to Sonya, letting her deal with the more aggressive Logan. Sonya dodges a clothesline from Sarah and hits her with a flurry of kicks before spinning around to take out Liv as she comes in illegally, causing her to roll out of the ring but the distraction lets Sarah roll her up for a 1 count. Sonya and Sarah continue the fight on their own for a bit until Sarah grabs control by whipping Sonya into the corner, which lets her make a tag to Ruby and they hit double spin kicks to the ribs before slamming her backwards onto the mat. Later in the match, Mandy had been isolated for awhile with The Riott Squad all making tags frequently to stay fresh and isolating Mandy by knocking Sonya off the apron a few times. Ruby tossed Mandy into the corner for a trio of superkicks for a 2 count, but Sonya breaks it up. This leads to Liv and Sarah coming into the ring but Sonya manages to fight them off, throwing Liv out of the ring quickly before tackling Logan and firing off punches on her. Sonya managed to get a hot tag shortly after this after Mandy hit Ruby with a facebuster, and she locked in the guillotine choke on Ruby, but she managed to escape. Sonya backs into the corner and as Ruby gets up, Sonya goes for a spear, but she hits the ref by mistake! Ruby takes advantage of this to get away and tag in Liv, but Sonya also tags to bring in Mandy. Liv blocks an implant buster from Mandy, then blasts her with green mist and as the ref gets up, she tags in Ruby while Liv goes after Sonya on the floor, and with Mandy still blinded, Ruby dropped her with the Riott Kick for the victory.

Winners via pinfall: The Riott Squad

Post Match: The Riott Squad celebrated their victory as Sonya gets in the ring to check on Mandy, but Ruby sicks Liv and Sarah on her and the fight is on again with Sonya trying to fight them off, but Ruby joins in and she succumbs to the numbers and is dropped. The Riott Squad lay in the boots until Mandy makes it to her feet and tackles Ruby, but she's pulled off Ruby by Sarah Logan, but Mandy shoves her away and hits her with a running knee! Mandy turns around however, and walks right into a superkick from Liv Morgan! Ruby gets back up and tells Liv it's time to finish this and Liv nods at this, sliding out of the ring and pulling out a baseball bat from under the ring! In the ring, Sarah and Ruby have tied Sonya into the ropes and now pull Mandy up, and restrain her as Liv slides in with the bat, but just as it looks like disaster is about to strike, Paige's music hits! The fans cheer loudly for this as Paige runs down the ramp with a chair and Ruby and Sarah throw Mandy down and stand ready to fight as Paige slides in and ducks a baseball bat shot, and hits Liv with her chair in the ribs! Paige spins around and swings the chair at Sarah and Ruby, who avoid it and roll out of the ring, but Liv isn't as lucky and takes a chair shot to the back, and right after this Liv is pulled out of the ring by Sarah and Ruby, who carry her away from the ring while glaring at Paige who dares them to come back and fight. When she sees them continue up the ramp, she frees Sonya from the ropes and checks on her and Mandy.
After a commercial break, The Miz is in his office and says he has a few very important announcements. First, based off the chaos after the opening match, next week Liv Morgan will face Paige in a singles match and he's banning Ruby, Sarah, Sonya and Mandy from ringside. Second, tonight's main event will be Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton in a Steel Cage. And finally, up next it'll be AJ Styles vs Killian Dain and if AJ is able to pin or submit Dain, he gets a shot at the US Title.

    Match #2:
    AJ Styles vs Killian Dain

AJ starts fast and quickly goes for a running dropkick after a couple strikes, but it's blocked and Dain stomps on him. Dain goes for a suplex but AJ lands on his feet behind him and throws wild punches to try and stop Dain, and he manages to knock him into the corner which lets him hit a torando DDT that snaps Dain's face off the top rope. Styles hits a springboard blockbuster once Dain is up and goes for an early pin, but only gets 1. They fight for awhile with AJ in control for most of it and eventually he goes for the ushigoroshi, but Dain fights it off with elbows to the jaw. Dain blocks a punch from Styles after this and powerbombs him before dropping an elbow across his chest. Dain waits for AJ to get up and wipes him out with a running crossbody, but a pin attempt afterwards only gets 2. Dain deadlifts AJ off the mat and hits him with a powerbomb and stomps on him until AJ counters one and locks him into the Calf Crusher, but it's in the ropes. Styles hits another tornado ddt out of the corner and follows up with the spiral tap, but he can only get 2 off the pin. He picks up Dain and goes for a Styles Clash, but he's backdropped and Dain bails out of the ring and grabs a chair, sliding into the ring with it and once AJ gets up, he bashes him over the head with it for a DQ.

    Winner via DQ: AJ Styles
Samoa Joe is backstage and talks about last week. He says Pete Dunne gave him a great fight and he's looking forward to having a rematch down the road, but Drew McIntyre decided to cheap shot him after the match with a Claymore Kick. He says how it's funny Drew makes himself out to be a badass, but continues to be a coward. He tells Drew if he wants to throw down they can do it in the ring or backstage, he doesn't need to cheap shot. He then moves onto Orton and talks about how he's established himself as a true threat, after all he's pinned Joe twice. He says he's looking forward to watching the cage match tonight and Miz has nothing to worry about, he has no desire to get involved in it and he wants to watch them tear each other apart. He'll see them at Extreme Rules where he'll put them down. He's a threat you see coming, not one you need to watch your back for.

    Match #3:
Street Profits vs Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews

The Profits mostly dominate with isolating Apollo early on and Dawkins tags in Ford to hit a snapmare/dropkick/splash combo followed by Ford hitting an elbow drop, but the crazy combination only gets 2. Ford pulls Crews up but Apollo hits him with a jumping enziguri to fight him off and tag in Titus, who ducks a clothesline and hits one of his own. Titus beats down Ford a bit until he's able to tag in Dawkins, who spears Titus for 2. Dawkins grabs a roll up for 1 later but Titus counters with a roll up of his own for 2. A couple minutes later the end comes with Dawkins spearing Titus again then tagging in Ford, which lets them hit the spinebuster/frog splash combo as Montez pins Titus while Angelo Dawkins restrains Apollo and he gets the pin.

Winners via pinfall: The Street Profits
Chris Jericho is in the ring and says last week was one of the most terrifying moments of his life, he was being held hostage by Bray Wyatt who kidnapped him and tied him to a chair and beat the hell out of him. He says Bray Wyatt started this war, but at Extreme Rules he'll finish it. As for tonight, he has some anger to work out and he's issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back. After a few moments of waiting, Sami Zayn's music hits.

    Match #4:
    Chris Jericho vs Sami Zayn

Jericho is very aggressive to start and quickly beats down Zayn, not giving him a moment to recover. Zayn tries to fight back but Jericho stays on him and counters any attempts at offense, but eventually Zayn gets in a backbreaker after countering a Jericho move. He starts building up a bit of offense as he gets back into the match, and he climbs up to the top turnbuckle and goes for a Swanton Bomb, but Jericho rolls out of the way and locks in the Walls of Jericho, but Sami manages to escape. Sami grabs a roll up out of nowhere for 2, but as they get back up, Jericho dropkicks Zayn and locks him into the Liontamer, which makes Sami tap out fairly quickly.

    Winner via submission: Chris Jericho

After the match: The lights go out in the arena as soon as Jericho breaks the hold, and when they come back on Bray Wyatt is standing behind Jericho! Wyatt spins Jericho around and goes for Sister Abigail, but Jericho blocks it and goes for a Codebreaker, but Wyatt blocks that and drops him with a punch and follows up with a running senton! With Jericho down, Wyatt stalks him until he gets up and drops him with a Sister Abigail, leaving Jericho laying in the middle of the ring as he kneels next to him and laughs.
Backstage, Bayley is asked by Renee Young what she thinks of the Submissions Count Anywhere stipulation that Sasha picked last week. Bayley says obviously she's at a bit of a disadvantage, everybody knows Sasha has a killer submission with the Bank Statement that has led her to multiple championship wins where as her, she doesn't really have submissions as a regular part of her moveset. Bayley says luckily she was able to convince an old friend to face her tonight in a submission match so she can get some practice on it, and she's looking forward to the challenge at Extreme Rules, she's defied the odds her whole life to get this far and that won't stop now. Let everybody count her out, she'll happily shock them all when she makes Sasha tap.

In the ring, Revival have mics and say they hear Lince Dorado has found a partner to team with tonight to face them, but they aren't afraid of whoever he found because they're a real team and real teams are better than random teams, and they'll happily destroy the joke known as Lince Dorado again.

    Match #5:
Revival vs Lince Dorado and Oney Lorcan

A surprisingly one sided match as Revival keeps Dorado isolated for a long time, but finally he makes a hot tag to Oney Lorcan, who goes on a tear and cleans house with a variety of offense on Wilder. Dawson comes in illegally as Oney is loading up his signature move, and clotheslines him in the back of the head to shut him down. He pulls Dorado up and holds him up until Wilder recovers and they hit a double suplex. Later on Lorcan is back on the attack but Wilder sneaks in and takes him out, giving Dawson a chance to recover as Wilder bails out of the ring and runs around ringside, low blowing Dorado off the apron which sets up the end of the match, as Scott Dawson hits a running chopblock to the knee of Lorcan before throwing him into the corner, and Revival hit the Shatter Machine on Lorcan which lets Wilder pin him for the victory.

    Winners via pinfall: The Revival
Drew McIntyre is backstage and says he heard Joe talking earlier, he thinks he's a coward? He considers himself an opportunist. Joe left himself open and let his guard down, so he kicked his head off. He says he might just have to take Joe up on that offer for a fight next week, but as for tonight he's going to hurt Randy Orton in the cage and make him regret that RKO last week. Becoming champion is his destiny, and tonight he's putting down someone who should have been put out to pasture years ago.

    Match #6:
    Bayley vs Becky Lynch

A very long match with a lot of counters and the story throughout is Bayley can't make Becky tap with her limited knowledge of submissions. She tried a few times with the guillotine choke and the boston crab with no luck, and she begins to get frustrated after awhile, getting more aggressive as she beats down Becky. Becky eventually traps Bayley in the Disarmher, and nearly makes her tap, but Bayley makes it to the ropes at the last minute. Shortly after the Disarmher, Becky takes the fight to the floor and ends up putting Bayley through the announce table. The end of the match comes a few minutes after this when Becky goes for a second Disarmher, but Bayley blocks it and locks her into the Koji Clutch out of nowhere, and after a bit of a struggle, Becky is forced to tap out.

    Winner via submission: Bayley
Velveteen Dream is in a smokey room backstage and says he heard Bobby wants to have a Last Man Standing match, that's fine with him, after all this wouldn't be the first time he managed to make another man unable to stand. He says the Dream has dealt with a lot with this feud, but at Extreme Rules they settle this for good. He's looking forward to going a few rounds with Bobby Roode, and defeating Roode is going to be....glorious. Dream winks at the camera as it slowly leaves the room.

    Match #7: Steel Cage Match
    Randy Orton vs Drew McIntyre

A very good back and forth match but Drew starts fast and throws Orton into the cage before hitting him with a running strike. Drew stays on the attack by throwing Orton into the cage a few times before pounding him with punches, and he draws blood early. Drew hits a headbutt after Orton gets to his feet and goes for a Claymore Kick, but Orton sidesteps. Orton beats down Drew a bit and hits his signature stomp on Drew followed by an RKO for 2. Orton tries to escape but doesn't get far before Drew slams his leg into the side of the cage then pulls him down back into the ring. Later on Orton manages to get to the top of the cage but Drew pulls him down and after getting him off the cage, he drops him with a Claymore Kick for a 2 count. Drew takes his turn trying to escape the cage but Orton stomps him and they fight on the top rope, trying to knock each other off by slamming each other into the cage, and Orton manages to knock Drew off the ropes and back into the cage. He debates going for escape, but instead he goes after Drew and hits him with a DDT, and he busts Drew open in the process. Orton now decides to go for the escape, feeling satisfied after drawing blood but Drew stops him, but Orton kicks him off the cage and climbs up to the very top, with Drew stopping him at the very last second. Drew finally brings Orton back down into the ring and hits a second Claymore for 2, but he can't follow up afterwards before Orton shoves him into the corner, puts him on the top turnbuckle, and hits a Super RKO! Orton covers for a pin, but Drew shocks everyone by kicking out. Orton now decides he's had enough of this and tries to escape out the door of the cage, but Drew stops him and drops him with a Future Shock DDT. Drew smirks at Orton and exits the cage through the door, sealing his victory.

Winner via escaping the cage: Drew McIntyre

    WWE Backlash:

    Match #1: Hardcore Match
    Dean Ambrose vs Braun Strowman

Ambrose takes control early on after quickly knocking Braun to the floor and splashing him a couple times with top rope dives, and things get hardcore quickly now as Dean pulls out a kendo stick from under the ring. He beats Braun with it until Braun finally makes it to his feet and yanks the kendo stick out of his hand, and smacks Ambrose with it. Braun goes under the ring himself and pulls out a ladder while Ambrose gets to his feet and pulls out a table under the ring himself and get things into the ring, but neither is able to use their weapon as both get blocked by the other, but Braun takes control with a dropkick. Braun uses some power offense on Ambrose to keep control including throwing him across the ring with a biel but when he tries to follow that up with a running strike, Ambrose blocks him with an elbow to the jaw and rolls up Braun for 2. Ambrose grabs a chair from under the ring and ends up busting Braun open with it before dropping Braun with a DDT onto the chair, but a pin attempt only gets a 2 count. Dean goes for Dirty Deeds, but Braun blocks it and shoves him away but Dean bails out of ring and runs up the ramp while Braun follows him, and Braun ends up throwing Dean off the stage. Braun follows him to the floor area in front of the stage and stalks Ambrose as he gets up, and hits him with a Reverse Chokeslam but only manages to get a 2 count.

Braun gets back up onto the stage and heads down the ramp towards the ring, but Ambrose charges him and hits a knee to the back, then rolls up Strowman for another 2 count, but when they get back up Braun picks him up and hits a Running Powerslam on the stage for a close 2 count. The fight ends up going backstage after this and Ambrose grabs a trash can and smashes it over the head of Braun, then finds a second trash can and does the same with that one before grabbing a briefcase, and he smacks Braun across the face with it once he gets up! Ambrose takes a stroll down the hallway backstage while Braun slowly begins to recover, and Ambrose grabs a fire extinguisher and waits for Braun to come find him, before spraying him with it which stumbles him, and Ambrose smacks the butt of the extinguisher into the face of Braun right into a pin attempt, but only manages 2 again, he can't put the monster away! Ambrose gets frustrated and heads into the parking lot, and opens the trunk of a car and pulls out a kendo stick! Braun heads into the parking lot and blocks a kendo stick shot and hits a big boot on Ambrose, sending him sprawling across the parking lot. Braun tries to follow up, but Ambrose kicks him away and jumps to his feet before headbutting Braun and runs over to the forklift and jumps up onto it to get away from the monster, who of course follows him. The two rivals have a staredown and Ambrose dives at Strowman, but he's caught! Ambrose struggles to escape the monster's clutches with no luck, as he's slammed down into the cement! Braun pulls Dean back to his feet and hits him with a Reverse Chokeslam, and covers him for the pin and the win ending this brutal war of a match.

    Winner via pinfall: Braun Strowman
After Strowman celebrates his victory, we transition into the interview area where Roman Reigns stands. He's asked about his match vs Kevin Owens later tonight for the World Heavyweight Championship and he says he's thought long and hard about the match with Owens at King of the Ring, and sure he could make excuses and say Owens won because he didn't exactly fight his way there by hiding throughout the championship chase but the fact is, Owens was just the better man that night and he wanted it more. He says he's going to give it his all tonight and if Owens wants to beat him again, he better be prepared to damn near kill him, but at the end of the night there will be no excuses for either of them and the better man will win. He ends by saying if he loses tonight, he promises he will not challenge for the championship again as long as Kevin holds it, before walking off.

    Match #2:
    Dakota Kai vs Shayna Baszler

As soon as the bell rings, Shayna charges Dakota and blasts her with a running knee strike and covers right away, looking to prove a point, but Dakota kicks out at 1. Dakota is quickly to her feet but Shayna simply throws her out of the ring and takes time to taunt the fans as Dakota gets to her feet, and shoots a glare at Shayna, who clearly doesn't feel any sort of threat here. Dakota yells at her to come get her, and Shayna is happy to oblige as she slides out of the ring and after a moment of taking blows from Dakota, she whips her hard into the guard rail! Dakota gets back up and blocks a punch from Shayna and hits her with a few kicks before throwing her into the ring post, and slams her skull off it to knock her down before sliding into the ring, and Shayna eventually gets in at the 8 count. The two go back and forth fighting for awhile with neither truly able to get control, but suddenly Dakota snaps off a facebuster followed by the Kai-Ropractor (Front flip Backstabber), for a very close two count, and Shayna bails out of the ring after kicking out, taking a moment to regroup after nearly losing to the woman she didn't take seriously at first. After waiting for a couple seconds, Dakota slides out of the ring to go after Shayna, but Shayna slides into the ring to avoid her and when Dakota gets back in, she's dropped with a running knee strike to the face! Shayna puts Dakota in the ropes and snaps her arm off the ropes, before pressing Kai's throat into the middle rope to wear her down. Shayna goes for a gutwrench suplex after Dakota is out of the ropes, but Dakota lands on her feet and drops Shayna with a roundhouse kick!

Dakota throws Shayna into the corner and charges at her, looking for a kick to the face...it hits! Shayna falls and Dakota covers her, but only manages a 2 count again. Dakota goes for another Kai-Ropractor, but Shayna blocks it and hits a combination of strikes to knock her down before exposing the turnbuckle in the corner and whips Dakota into the exposed buckle! Dakota goes down and this lets Shayna work over the arm for a bit, finishing with twisting it into an awkward position before stomping on it, causing her to roll around in pain as Shayna simply chuckles at potentially injuring her rival! Dakota eventually gets to her feet and Shayna goes after her, but Dakota attempts a roll up but it's blocked and Shayna catches her out of nowhere with the Kerifuda Clutch! Shayna takes Dakota down to the mat and cinches in the hold as Dakota struggles to try and escape, but it's no use as she's unable to
and she's forced to tap out!

    Winner via submission: Shayna Baszler
Backstage, Kurt Angle is with American Alpha and hyping them up for their title match tonight, he says he'll be there with them and tells them Undisputed Era will be tough, they'll try to pull out every trick in the book, but he knows they can win and they'll have the crowd behind them. Gable says tonight they ruin this "golden prophecy" of Undisputed Era and take the titles, as Jordan nods in agreement while lifting weights as they head out of the locker room.

Match #3: 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Gentleman Jack Gallagher vs Aleister Black (c)

Gallagher dominates early but Black fights him off and sends him to the floor. Back and forth fighting with nobody really gaining control for awhile as they fight on the floor with Jack trying to use the elements around him to his advantage, while Black tries to keep this a pure fight. Eventually out of nowhere, Black blocks a strike and hits Black Mass out of nowhere! He slides into the ring and tells the ref to count Jack out, perhaps testing his will, but Jack is back in at the 7 count, and dodges a springboard knee strike, and hits a headbutt, but only manages a 2 count. Jack throws Black into the corner and charges in, hitting a corner dropkick, but gets 2 more. Jack gets frustrated and stomps the hell out of Black before rolling out of the ring and grabbing a steel chair! Jack slides into the ring and stalks Black, but the ref gets in his way and pulls the chair out of his hands and yells at him, which lets Black get up and german suplex Gallagher, then blast him with a second Black Mass out of nowhere! Jack goes down and Black covers him, getting the first fall of the match in a very similar way to the way he retained against Jack the first time they fought!

Black maintains control for awhile on the second fall but Jack blocks a Bicycle Knee Strike, and snaps off another headbutt for another 2 count. Jack grounds Black for awhile and works him over before throwing him into the corner for another running dropkick, but somehow it only gets one! Jack is shocked and quickly whips Black into the corner again, and again hits the Running Dropkick into a pin, but this one only gets 2! Jack is very frustrated now as he can't manage to put Aleister Black away, and he mounts him and fires off some punches before rolling out of the ring and picking up the chair he grabbed earlier. He slides into the ring and debates striking Black, but realizes if he does he'll lose the match and drops it, and instead knocks out the ref! The fans boo as Black begins crawling to his feet as Jack grabs the chair and slams it across his back! He hits Black 3 more times with the chair before disposing of it as the ref is back up and Jack pins, but again only gets 2. Jack is beside himself, trying to figure out what he needs to do to even score a fall on Black nevermind win, so he throws Black into the corner and lifts him up to the top turnbuckle. Gallagher climbs up and goes for a superplex, but Black shoves him off to block it! Black dives off and hits the double stomp to the chest of Jack, then waits for him to get up and hits a springboard kick followed by a german suplex, and Jack is in trouble as Black has gotten rolling! Black backs into the corner and hits the Bicycle Kick, but Jack kicks out at 2! Both men get to their feet and Jack grabs a roll up suddenly for 2, but when they get back to their feet, Jack is dropped with a quick Black Mass! Aleister isn't done yet though as he drags Jack to the middle of the ring and lifts him up with his boot, and drops him with another Black Mass! Aleister falls into the pin and gets the pin, scoring the second fall and retaining his title!

Winner via pinfall and STILL IC Champion: Aleister Black
Backstage, Roderick Strong is warming up for his match until he notices the camera. He looks into the camera and says he's disappointed Undisputed Era decided to turn on him, he really thought of them as his brothers, but they thought he was the weak link and that's fine, let them think that. Tonight he begins getting his revenge on them by beating the hell out of Adam Cole and beating him, and after he's through with that he's setting his sights on Bobby and Kyle, they might have made the first move but he'll make the last when he slowly destroys each and every one of them.

Match #4: World Tag Team Title Match
American Alpha w/ Kurt Angle vs Undisputed Era (c)

An interesting match here as Undisputed Era decided to surprise American Alpha and used Kurt Angle being at ringside to their advantage, attacking him multiple times throughout the match and using it to take back the advantage when they'd lose it at a various points. American Alpha eventually turned the match into a brawl on the floor for awhile out of anger, and this turned out to be a mistake as Kyle and Bobby managed to isolate Gable because of this after destroying Jordan on the floor and a series of double team moves wore down Gable, eventually hitting the High-Low Attack, but Jordan saved the match at the last second by breaking up the pin! Shortly after this, Jordan got the hot tag into the match and began clearing house, hitting suplexs on Kyle O'Reilly and even taking out Bobby Fish when he got into the ring illegally, before taking the straps down on his singlet and throwing Kyle into the corner, spearing him against the turnbuckles before hitting a belly to belly suplex! Jordan went for a pin but only managed a 2 count. However he saw a chance to win the titles and moved quickly, whipping Kyle into the American Alpha corner and tagging in Gable so they could hit Grand Amplitude, but Bobby Fish broke up the pin! Fish took out Jordan with a spin kick, causing him to roll out of the ring and blocked a punch from Gable before restraining him long enough for Kyle to get up and they hit a double DDT, before Fish climbed up to the top turnbuckle and dove onto Angle, wiping him out at ringside! O'Reilly waited for Fish to get in the corner and tagged him in, which let Fish spear Gable down then climb to the top turnbuckle and hit a moonsault before bringing him into the corner and tagged in Kyle, and they hit the High-Low Attack! Kyle pinned Jordan as Fish tackled Jordan as he got in the ring, and it was enough to score the pin in a hard fought match.

Winners via pinfall and STILL World Tag Team Champions: Undisputed Era
Backstage Peyton Royce is stretching for her title match against Asuka up next as Billie Kay tells her she's going to destroy Asuka, and send her crying back to Japan. Peyton stops stretching and tells her she's so glad after tonight they won't have to deal with Asuka ever again and can finally move on. Billie says maybe they move onto the most ICONIC match that could ever happen....Billie vs Peyton! Peyton sounds excited by the idea and agrees that would be iconic but warns her it can't happen if Asuka gets in the way and they both agree she must be stopped.

Match #5: Raw Women's Championship Match
Asuka vs Peyton Royce (c) w/ Billie Kay

From the start, Asuka pretty much dominates the match, catching Peyton after she bailed from the ring and ran around ringside to start and taking the fight to her throughout from there. Peyton kept fighting back, using some heel tactics to fight Asuka off for awhile, but she's never able to truly gain much momentum until Billie distracts the ref, and Peyton uses the distraction to hit Asuka with a chair! Peyton managed to gain some momentum
from here after minutes of being destroyed, and managed to hit two suplexs followed by a fishermans suplex for 2. Peyton wasn't sure what to do after the kick out and climbed up top and went for a diving elbow drop, but Asuka rolled out of the way and after Peyton got up, and hit a running hip attack for 2! Asuka proceeded to lock in the Asuka Lock, and Peyton was quickly in trouble as she realized she was trapped in the middle of the ring! Billie realized her friend was in danger and jumped onto the apron to distract the ref, and while the ref was distracted, Peyton tapped out! But the ref didn't see it! Asuka broke the hold and celebrated for a moment before realizing the situation and quickly went after Billie on the floor, chasing her around ringside before suddenly being blindsided by a Peyton Royce big boot! Peyton quickly tossed Asuka into the ring and covered Asuka, but only got a 2 count. Peyton followed this up by rolling up Asuka for another pin, but again only gets 2! Peyton is angry now and rolls out of the ring and grabs the chair from earlier, ignores the ref yelling at her and smacks Asuka with the chair causing a DQ!

    Winner via DQ: Asuka
STILL Raw Women's Champion: Peyton Royce

    Match #6: Grudge Match
    Roderick Strong vs Adam Cole

Back and forth match for awhile at the beginning with Cole controlling it slightly more and taking time to trash talk throughout the match, calling Roddy a weak link and saying he's nothing. At one point Roddy gets rolling after a couple clotheslines and follows up with a snap suplex and a scoop slam followed by a middle rope elbow drop for a 2 count. Strong goes for a backbreaker, but Cole counters it and throws Strong out onto the apron, and hits an enziguri knocking him to the floor! Cole tries to follow up with a Last Shot, but Roddy blocks it and snaps off a backbreaker! Roddy begins stalking Cole for his finisher, but Cole blocks it and knocks Roddy into the ropes, then clotheslines him over the top rope! Shortly after Cole gets Roddy into the corner and hits him with the Panama Sunrise after a few more moves to build to it, and picks up the win over his former stablemate.

    Winner via Pinfall: Adam Cole
Match #7: World Heavyweight Championship Match
Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens (c)

Chain wrestling to start with Reigns getting the better of it and ending up getting the advantage after a roll up into a powerbomb and dropping Owens. Reigns keeps control with some slams before Owens grabs a roll up but it's kicked out of at 1 and Owens takes control by following up with a shoulder block. Owens wears down Reigns a bit with stomps before hitting a running senton on Reigns then climbs up to the top turnbuckle, and goes for a frog splash, but Reigns gets his knees up to block it. Reigns gets to his feet and hits a couple clotheslines before throwing Owens into the ropes, and hits him with a samoan drop! Reigns rolls out of the ring and clears off the announce table but by time he does it, Owens is out of the ring and throws him into the announce table before throwing Reigns into the steps. Reigns is down but not for long as Owens pulls him up and shoots him off the ropes, then drops him with a Pop Up Powerbomb! Owens pins Reigns, but Reigns kicks out at a close 2!

Owens hits another running senton on Reigns to keep him down, then goes up top and hits a frog splash! Owens covers for a pin but Reigns kicks out at 2. Owens covers for a pin, but it isn't enough and Reigns kicks out at 2. Owens waits for Reigns to get up and goes for a pumphandle drop, but Reigns blocks it with a backdrop! Reigns loads up another Superman Punch, but Owens blocks it and hits a Stunner out of nowhere! Reigns is down but Owens decides he needs to do more, and picks up Reigns and drops him with a second Pop Up Powerbomb! Owens falls into the pin and this time it's enough, he retains!

Winner via pinfall and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Kevin Owens
Tried something different this show and had full details for a couple matches to see how it works. I'll probably start slowing down a bit with these shows as I finally start playing other games, but I still have a few shows done and in my notes so who knows. Hopefully whoever reads this enjoys.
