There are reports that there could be other releases and that one reason the Ascension was released so seemingly out of the blue is that the front office was impressed with how they went about it. You know, they didn't go out and bitch about it on social media, they didn't make snide remarks about the company on Twitter or anything, they just quietly approached about wanting to leave and got their release with no real problem. At least, that's one of the rumors going about so who really knows.

Of those released so far, Luke Harper is really the only one I see as being any sort of loss for WWE. Harper's a good sized, athletic guy who can go in the ring and could be a solid heavy for any company, but it's doubtful he'll wind up being the next big thing or anything like that. Still, the guy wants to be used in some sort of semi relevant way and my GUESS is that he's managed his money pretty well so that it's not really much of an issue; money isn't everything, of course, but it's never a bad thing to have a nice cushy nest egg at the end of a career instead of just a body full of aches & pains.

Some reports say that some cuts may be coming for NXT as well so, again, take it for what it's worth at this time. If so, then I could see them letting go of the likes of Riddick Moss, Tino Sabbatelli, Cezar Bononi and Taynara Conti. The first three haven't been on NXT TV for a long, long time and were never particularly impressive when they were, apart from having a good look. Taynara Conti is a scrumptious looking gal, no question about that, but she's been in NXT for about 3 years now and has shown little signs of progression. Still, the fact she's just 24 and sexy as all get out might be enough to keep her around. I'd also let the Singh Brothers go as they just bring nothing whatsoever to the table, maybe Ariya Daivari and if NXT UK also lets some go, I'd probably also go with Amir Jordan, Ashton Smith, Joseph Conners, Wild Boar, Primate, Isla Dawn, Killer Kelly and Nina Samuels as they're all just totally unimpressive in my eyes.
