I really liked Solo. There was a lot of typical Star Wars stuff in there that I could do without, but other than that it was a heist movie in space, and it was awesome.
I'm afraid you're wrong
Not seen Solo, but Last Jedi was a comedy of errors.

^ Got to agree here.
Haven't seen Solo either, probably won't see it either until they start showing it on TV a few years from now. The stand alone entries into the Star Wars franchise just don't interest me as they don't really offer anything that I find all that important to the stories as a whole. I didn't see Rogue One because I've no real interest in seeing how the Rebel Alliance gets the Death Star plans; we found out in the opening minutes of the first Star Wars movie they got them, that those who got them for the Alliance were killed and they found a weakness that allowed them to make it go boom so that's all I need to know. As for Solo, I may have been interested in it if it was a darker story. If they're going to still do prequels as an occasional one shot or whatever, I'd be more interested in something along the lines of the origins of the Sith. One of the few Star Wars books I read were those about Darth Bane, the Sith who created the whole Rule of Two thing, and I thought they were a lot of fun.

Solo should've been made by those 21 Jump Street guys.
I thought Solo was going to fail if they aimed for the same tone as the rest, and I was right. The character is too iconic and you know how it ends, so do something different.
