I bet Mank is going to have a running time that's best suited to being trapped in a cinema.

The one time I've gone has not been bad. When you buy a seat they make sure 2 seats left and 2 seats right are not allowed, and with the leather reclining seats you're far away enough to be behind or in front of someone. The concession stand was well-maintained and the self-serve drink station was handled by an employee. I don't know how you guys are doing it. Being in a state that is taking COVID seriously (so serious the President just said he won't give us vaccines...) it isn't bad. If I was in Florida fuck that shit I'd be locked in my house for the next 2 years.
The cinema is the one of the safest places I've been to since everything has reopened. Largely because nobody else is going.
But everything is locked down again now, regardless of how safe certain venues are.
Well I've been to the cinema about a dozen times since the first lockdown and haven't to my knowledge got covid or given it to anyone so it must be safe - but Vue were basically trusting people to do their own social distancing. Let me tell you something about people: you really can't trust the cunts.
The Prince Charles enforced social distancing and masks. Much better.

Turns out I've never fully understood the significance of Citizen Kane. Which is to say, yes, I followed the film's narrative.
I've never seen Citizen Kane. Mank ☆☆

I wouldn't have enjoyed WW84 in any other year.
Chadwick Boseman is nailed on for that best supporting actor Oscar.
Plotting my triumphant return.
Sound of Metal looks at me every time I go on Prime. I'm holding out so far.
