I had a lot of fun with it.
I'm in the David Simon part of the year, where I rewatch The Wire and read Homicide. I will be going to see Infinity War again - because by girlfriend wants to, not (for once) because I'm a desperate nerd.
I have a film festival this weekend which should be about 25 films over 5 days. Commando is on. That's all I know.
This weekend is maelstrom of things I could have gone to but won't:
Blade Runner at the secret cinema. They have neon umbrellas and a Blade Runner-style bar and street set, but £70? Nah.
Progress' three-day wrestling tournament, which nearly killed me back when it was two days.
A Lord of the Rings all-nighter at the Prince Charles, which, if I'm at a loose end on Sunday I might even still go to.
But I probably will be going to see The Land Before Time on 35mm. That seems like a very me thing to do.
I'm seeing Demolition Man on 35mm this evening. It could be the first film of this festival I enjoy.
I'm not sure I've ever mentioned this, but I've never seen a Land Before Time movie. Let me know if that explains a lot about me.
