Unlike party pooper J Glass, I thought this was tremendous. Funny, fantastic action, good balance of the comedy with seriousness.
I don't poop on parties unless there's nowhere else to go. I maintain all my gripes with the film are legitimate and not hipster bullshit like most of the rest of my life.

Two people have expressed this opinion to me this past week which I found pretty startling. Might be worth a watch.

I'm going to shit on my own rating system and say: three and a half stars.

I've been looking at A Quiet Place's release schedule and it's... Thursday. Nothing before, nothing after, just... Thursday.

Don't worry, I sorted it: tickets booked Monday for Isle of Dogs and A Quiet Place in the most organic double bill of all time.

I feel like this movie is never going to be released, wide, in the U.S. Thought it was going wide this week, but only in NY/LA. Obviously I'm just being a baby, but I really want to see this.

The only film that could possibly knock that off my #1 spot for 2018 is Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

A quiet place was very Shyamalan-esque. In the nicest possible way.

And I just like Wes Anderson, OK?

That's a perfectly solid top ten. Can I stop now?

You can stop when you've seen Attack of the Adult Babies.

Thanks for ruining my Sunday, Jake. I was mainly amazed at the sheer amount You Were Never Really Here owed to Taxi Driver.
