I think we could see some great intergender matches if they take them seriously, but I don’t see them going too far with this.

Honestly it doesn't make sense. Unless the female competitor is someone like Ronda (a legit fighter) or you get someone like Rhea (a dominant force) fighting jobber cruiserweights. Even here they really made sure to point out the fact that Tozawa was unwilling to strike his opponent even if it was legal and to his advantage to do it.
