It was close between Portland and Wrestlemania, but given how Wrestlemania so easily could have been a disaster and ended up being a strong showing clinches it for me.

I am entirely impartial since I was at the Royal Rumble, but that was a thoroughly enjoyable show, so that wins for me.

The Rumble but SummerSlam deserves a mention for being the first big show at the Thunderdome. That's improved things immensely.
