There we go!
So this is the final night of an exhausting weekend and its fallout time for the blue brand. So what happened Sunday? The major news first: Shinsuke Nakamura failed to capture the WWE Championship match in a good (though not great) match versus AJ Styles and well...it didn't exactly sit well with him. After humbly offering the title to Styles, Nakamura lured the unsuspecting champion in and gave him the Australian uppercut before viciously assaulting him, culminating in a nasty looking Kinshasa outside the ring. What an evil, evil man. You have to think he's coming for the gold with renewed piss, vinegar and purpose - perhaps The Greatest Royal Rumble from Saudi Arabia? Maybe Backlash? Hell, possibly even tonight? Suppose we'll have to tune in, but this one seems far from over.
Elsewhere, Daniel Bryan heroically returned to banish Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (to RAW) after saving Shane McMahon from being murderised by the Canadian Connection. Where will the Goat Faced Killer go next? Will he resign his position as GM to pursue a further in-ring career? Will he juggle both responsibilities? Is he maybe interested in pursuing a certain championship mentioned in the above paragraph?
In the midcard Jinder Mahal cemented his position as the most universally loathed man on Tuesday nights by capturing the United States title and pinning Rusev (DAAAAAAAAAY!), the Bludgeoning continued as the Bros. became Tag Team Champions and Charlotte has ascended to a tier above all others by slaying the supposedly unstoppable dragon that is Asuka. What next for the women of SmackDown? With Naomi winning theFallopian tubeSnickersFabulous Moolah MemorialWomen's WrestleMania Battle Royal could she be next in line? Is Asuka still hanging around? And what about Carmella and her Money in the Bank Contract?
Well the answer to all these questions (and more) as well as debuts, returns and other major events occurring, this should be must see TV...if you aren't already horribly burnt out by everything that's come before.
