    Surprising Wrestling Facts

John Laurinaitis has more 5 star matches than Daniel Bryan. Seriously how?

    Anyone have any more?

I don't think that qualifies as a fact.

I thought it was implied that I was going off of Meltzerís ratings.

I wouldn't use that as a basis for a fact.

To be more clear, itís not a fact that Daniel Bryan has never had a 5 star match and John Laurinaitis has. As we know, wrestling is subjective, and thereís no fully objective way to rate matches.

However it is a fact that Meltzer himself never gave Daniel Bryan a 5 star rating but did to John Laurinaitis, a man known to most newer fans for being just a boring on-screen authority figure who also had a role backstage.

Laurinaitis was actually a pretty good in ring performer, he inovated a couple of moves while in Japan, he just didn't have an ounce of personality in his body. Outside of that, yeah, Meltzer's ratings are just opinions. It isn't like Bryan's lack of a Meltzer five star match is keeping him from getting a job or keeping people from claiming him as one of the best wrestlers of this generation.

Vince Russo & Vince McMahon are former World Champions!

Scott Hall and Roddy Piper are not.

I am not a former world champion, whilst we're naming mundane facts.
