Yeah, Saudi Arabia doesn't exactly have a sterling history of equality among the sexes. I will say, however, that some things are starting to change. If I'm not mistaken, women are allowed to drive there now and girls in school will now be taught health just as the boys are. I know that doesn't sound like much to be impressed by, but they're steps in the right direction. They have a very, very, very long way to go and there's no telling when or if some of the social and economic goals they're going for will be stopped in its tracks under different political regimes.
