Nigel was great and it's a shame that he never got the chance to shine in WWE as he could ahve nailed it. His TNA stuff with Angle more than showed he could do it and the injuries were so depressing. I could see it being a Magnum situation, but I don't know if he had the same potential as Magnum.

Yep. Allegedly HHH was originally going to end the Streak and the loss was his punishment for sticking up for Shawn (not sure how much I believe that). As for that being the big moment for Shawn, not really as he didn't start getting better for a bit. It might have been a factor, but not the big factor.
