I know you were being cynical, this goes back to a discussion I was having about another wrestling topic. Quantity over quality. ?Let?s have Roman Reigns say a lot!? ?Roman Reigns is a badass who does his talking in the ring. 3-10 words.?

Doesn't need to be much more than that in some situations. Reigns is a great example of someone who does his talking in other ways. See also "it's my yard now."

Oh gosh. Off the top of my head, the Raw roster walking out on HHH is up there. It happened, then they were back the next week. Not so much forgotten, but more dropped with a very quick explanation.

How does talent/promotion talks work exactly when the talent is signed to another promotion? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that promotions can't talk to signed talent (not sure how true that is though). And there's the stories of how talent play promotions off against each other and will resign where they are for more perks. Also there was Matt Hardy turning up in AEW like a week after leaving WWE. One would assume he was talking to them before his contract expired.

To the best of my knowledge, it's a pretty unenforceable rule. There isn't much stopping someone from calling another promotion if their contract is expiring. Also, one of the biggest differences is in the no compete clauses. If you're released, you have to wait 90 days, during which you can negotiate. Hardy was officially a free agent and could sign immediately. The companies are going to know when someone's deal is up and be ready to pounce. If the wrestler is interested, working out a deal doesn't take long at all.

He isn't the greatest in the ring and his mic skills (while great) aren't exactly PG. It wouldn't be a good fit.

She's unique and feels natural in her role. I'm not sure I need the tank, but she gets your attention in a hurry and that's always a plus.
