What do you think of the recent Mickie James situation?
They're a billion dollar company and obsessed with perception. No, sending Mickie's stuff back to her in a garbage bag isn't some horrible deal, but they should have known how it was going to be perceived. Spend the $18 and have some intern go to Fed Ex and send it in a simple box. All of this nonsense is gone and it's no big deal.
So this is the thing I'm confused with in regards to the whole Mickie James garbage bag situation.
What are they sending her that they have so much of that it's put in a Hefty bag (the fact that John Cena does Hefty ads makes it even more ironic)? I've always been under the impression that the talent bring their gear with them, and WWE sells the merch on the website at clearance prices. So what would WWE possess that belongs to them?
Do you think it makes a title seem more important if someone has a lengthy run with the belt or lots of title changes between 2 people who are feuding?
I was wondering that too but apparently there are some things that they leave with the company for the sake of easier travel. Stuff like some parts of gear, a few things they might need etc. It's nothing big, but kind of spare stuff/stuff they'll need every week that they don't want to lug back and forth. I think one of the women said some of her shoes and wrist tape etc.
Depends on how it's presented. If you have a bunch of four minute matches with nothing building and no drama or no reason to care about it other than "hey the title changed", it doesn't work. If you have two people fighting to beat each other and it feels like a struggle. The same is true with a long title reign, as the lack of anything interesting or any drama is bad too, like when you know someone isn't going to lose the title. If I had to pick, I'd say a long one, but it can be either depending on the presentation.
Why would they have blood and guts on regular TV and not a ppv? Seems pretty stupid to me
