Why did/are people on here trying to make the Lana/Liv thing a LGBT thing. Why can't it just be about a person using other people to get what they want no matter what happens to the other? I know people of different races, sexuality or whatever have the need to want to be included but this isn't it. The story is and has continued to be nothing but showing that Lana is a manipulator and it has finally came back and bit her.

Well, it's not really "people" entirely when you consider that WWE heavily, heavily, heavily implied an intimate, sexual relationship between Lana and Liv during the wedding segment. I don't remember Liv's exact words but she said something about Lana being a great love or love of her life or what have you and while it's possible to have deep love for someone without any sort of sexual involvement, that's not what people took away from the segment as the story and I don't believe it's what WWE wanted them to come away with either. You heard all the "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" chants ala the Jerry Springer Show and that's how part of the segment really played out, it just wasn't as sleazy, 90% of the dialogue wasn't bleeped due to them using language you can't get away with even on most TV shows even today but, like the Springer show, it was every bit as choreographed scripted.

Liv Morgan being manipulated by someone she trusted and had deep feelings for is a plausible storyline but it's not as juicy in the minds of most adult men, who make up WWE's primary audience, as a steamy affair between two smoking hot blondes that damn near all of them have probably fantasized about at some point in time.

That's probably the conclusion, but it was absolutely meant to be an LGBT thing. That's 100% what they were going for.
