    Crowd Reaction: Average

He tells Tenay that he's sick of seeing the best of wrestling like Sonny Siaki treated like a nothing champion. He's sick of watching The S.A.T. curtain jerk each month. He's tired of how the company has handled minorities and he doesn't need another snake oil salesman like Raven to vouch for him. He's just as bad as Jarrett and the suits counting their money with their feet propped up on the backs of the working class warriors such as himself. He prattles on and on until the camera has to cut back to the ring because a match is underway.

    • Rena Mero struggled while going off-script.

    • Mike Sanders enjoyed having the freedom to go off-script.
    • Melina Perez debuted her Happy-Go-Lucky gimmick. It got a B+.
    • Melina's performance bombed due to being in a woman's role. Game thinks she's a man.

Solid job on turning a profit so quickly. In my experience it usually takes about nine or ten months with a fledgling name company to come close to breaking even. Even at ~$4000 its a start.

On that Melina issue, you may be able to go into the database editor while still in your save and double check the gender. I know you can in 2016, but I'm not sure if that existed in earlier versions. Check around in the options page.

After comparing your style to mine, I'm gonna steal the color idea. I think it will help the flow better.

Raven is seen atop the hood of a Trans AM. He wonders what it would take for Jarrett and the rest of the suits to see how the other half lives. Bit Of News All Around

    Incident!

I gave him a Last Chance. He replied with "I'll try and not get caught again." This is why your ass is jobbing out to Konnan, Mr. Perfect.

    War!

I immediately signed Jerry Lynn to an Exclusive PPA Contract to get him out of his MLW Contract. He was their World Champ. I am that petty bitch.

    In Wrestling News

Nice guy. Hope he goes far.

Another boom for TNA: Post-Lockdown, I made a profit of $6,032. Of course this means I should buy up everyone.

Samoa Joe has signed with TNA in an Exclusive PPA Contract. He'll be a Lower Midcarding Heel to start.

Also in negotiations with Dave Bautista. Fair grab if I outbid WWE for him, but then again this is 2003. Batista didn't blow up for another two years. We'll see.

    TNA Hard Justice Hype

Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven (c) in an I Quit Match

Kid Kash vs. Sonny Siaki vs. AJ Styles (c) in a Triple Threat Ladder Match

Ron Killings vs. Konnan in a Lord of the Lockdown Rematch

Dave Bautista was a bust. WWE was willing to put more money on the table and I'm just not in a spot to tempt him with a Written Contract. Surprised I held on to Killings, Konnan, and BG James honestly.

Vince Russo is gone. Dropped David Flair and Erik Watts. Since they were PPA it cost nothing to do so. Found replacements, one being a familiar face. No one will come in until after Hard Justice.

Christian York is coming in with an Exclusive PPA because he worked for MLW and MLW can eat my ass right now. Midcard Heel that is in an exceptional tag team with Joey Matthews as The Badstreet Boyz. Cutting the John & Joey experiment for now so this'll make up for that too.

Samoa Joe, sweet sweet Samoa Joe, has signed Exclusively with TNA. Poached him from ROH who I do have a working agreement with, but I'm sure they won't mind me just swooping in and taking their guy. Right? Lower Midcard Face.

Signed Cheerleader Melissa to be a valet.

    TNA Hard Justice

    Opener: Backstage
Cameras pan to Konnan and the new TNA World Champion Raven shaking hands. K-Dogg explained to the folks at home that Raven's speech last month resonated with him, and that he's starting to see the bigger picture - that this is war and sometimes you have to align yourself with the devil you don't know to take out the devil you do. Raven chimed in that the title is the biggest bargaining chip; under his rule Konnan and every other star the company has turned a blind eye on will have their moment in the sun. All he needs to do is defeat Jarrett tonight to ensure his reign.
    D+

    Segment: Relationship
Former X-Division Champion Sonny Siaki asked his valet out on a date and she said yes - but he must regain the title tonight.
    D

Kid Kash vs. Sonny Siaki vs. AJ Styles (c) in a Triple Threat Ladder Match
    Crowd Reaction: Average
    In-Ring Action: Good
AJ Styles defeated Siaki and Kash in 12:43 when he retrieved the X Division Championship. This makes Defense #2.
    D+

Glenn Gilbertti w/Angelina Love vs. Jerry Lynn
    Crowd Reaction: Average
    In-Ring Action: Solid
Jerry Lynn defeated Gilbertti in 12:28 by Pinfall with a Cradle Driver. Gilbertti was furiated that Love didn't try and help him cheat.
    D+

    Segment: Cage Dancing
To add insult to injury, Angelina Love sticks around and climbs into the dancer cage. Gilbertti kept walking to the back, ignoring her sexy commercial break time.
    D+

    Triple X vs. America's Most Wanted (c)
    Crowd Reaction: Average
    In-Ring Action: Decent
AMW defeated XXX in 15:28 when James Storm pinned Elix Skipper after The Death Sentence. Defense #1.
    D+

    Segment: Product Shilling
Trinity and Lollipop are here to show you why you should buy these Glenn Gilbertti T-Shirts with the name "Disco Inferno" scratched out with a Sharpie. Trinity goes to put one on but first must remove her top. Lollipop helps. Cut to ringside.
    Crowd Reaction: Lifted
    C

    Curt Hennig vs. BG James
    Crowd Reaction: Good
    In-Ring Action: Decent
Hennig defeated James in 17:02 by DQ after BG James uppercut his gnards.
    D

    Segment: Post-Match
BG James throws one of the commentator's swivel chairs into the ring and takes a seat. He is adamant that he will not leave until he gets what he wants - an opportunity to fight Ron Killings for the rights to the Break It sequel. Rena Mero comes out and tells him to leave, that there is no second movie in the works. Dismayed, James gets up from his seat and gets on his knees, pleading that he must have this, that he was born to play a black breakdancing secret agent. That Killings can't even do a handstand like him. That Sophia was the best Golden Girl. Rena asks him again to leave. James says no. Security come in and he brawls with them before succumbing to the numbers. Commentary is quiet throughout, giving this the solemn respect it deserved.
    D+

Konnan vs. Ron "The Truth" Killins in a Lord of Lockdown Rematch
    Crowd Reaction: Good
    In-Ring Action: Good
Even though it is a rematch of sorts, the trophy is not on the line. Killings defeated Konnan in 8:43 after Konnan socked the referee. DQ.
    D-

    Segment: Interview
Mike Sanders is on standby with Jeff Jarrett. He asks him about his upcoming I Quit Match with Raven, and Jarrett dropped the bombshell that if he did not win tonight, he will not challenge again. That TNA is a much darker place with people like Konnan and Raven around, and even though he fully believes in giving everyone equal opportunity to shine on his program, that those opportunities should be earned. Konnan is a cheat, and Raven did not win the title right-wise. As far as he is concerned, TNA does not belong to him if he cannot beat Raven. But this is Hard Justice and Raven is getting what's coming to him.
    D+

Main Event: Jeff Jarrett vs. Raven (c) in an I Quit Match
    Crowd Reaction: Great
    In-Ring Action: Great
Raven defeated Jarrett in 21:32 by making Jarrett tap out to his own Figure Four Leglock after dropping the Steel Steps on them. Raven was also in his element by leaving welts on Jarrett's back with a Kendo Stick. Jarrett managed to get offense in by tossing the champion over the entrance ramp into a heap of unused cables. Defense #1 of Raven's title reign.
    C+

    Notes:
    • Samoa Joe debuted his Bad Ass gimmick. It got a B+.
    • Ace Steel used subtle mannerisms to hint at a face turn.
    • Konnan did not do well without a script to follow.
    • BG James was visibly tiring by the end of his match.
    • Jeff Jarrett took a crazy bump in the Main Event.
    • Don West was pretty weak announcing the I Quit Match.

Does Konnan request to work without a script? In my test run I had Taz occasionally do in ring interviews and he would get mad if I scripted them but I usually got the same result you get with Konnan.

Shame on you making Road Dogg go nearly twenty minutes though.
