PPV Theme: "Throw It All Away" by Default
Raven vs. Goldberg (c)
LuFisto vs. Amy Dumas (c)
The Lord of the Lockdown Tournament
Raven has an army. Goldberg is Goldberg. They go head-to-head in the place Raven walked out as World Champion last year. Will lightning strike twice for the gang leader, or can the current World Champion deter the hardcore icon and the power-starving clique? The fate of TNA could very well hang in the balance.
Newcomer LuFisto pranced in with baton in hand to challenge rockstar Amy Dumas for the fledgling Knockouts Championship. For weeks the young rookie has one-upped Dumas at every turn (with some assistance from Dumas's longtime rival Cheerleader Melissa) but Dumas found her veracity last week by chunking The Maestro off the stage. At Lockdown, someone must Face The Music!
A Lordship awaits the victor of a Tournament that has already produced one champion. Only one of the eight men set to fight will be able to take the Lockdown Trophy and the right to face the World Champion at Slammiversary. The Owner of TNA pulled some strings to get in. Killings, last year's Lord, is in by default. Old Cause stablemate Konnan is in. Wrestling Icon Sting is in. Hennig is in in what could be his last night as a TNA wrestler. Watch the drama unfold in what is geared to be a memorable tourney.
Few tidbits I thought was interesting:
- Konnan made it to the Finals last year.
- Sting is the only man to enter undefeated (1-0 against Raven, Goldberg's challenger).
- Jeff Jarrett feuded with Konnan and Raven last Lockdown, losing the World title in the process. Now he is in Raven's group and Konnan, a former member, is his first opponent.
- Unlike last year's contestants, Curt Hennig did not lose by pinfall or submission - he was Counted Out.
- If AJ Styles wins, he would be the most decorated man to make his name in TNA (Winning Lord of the Lockdown, King of the Road, TNA World Championship, and the X Division Championship).
- There is a 21-year age difference between the youngest entrant (Samoa Joe, 25) and the oldest (Curt Hennig, 46).

C+
AJ Styles vs. Ultimo Dragon (Lord of Lockdown Quarterfinals)
Crowd Reaction: Great
In-Ring Action: Good
AJ Styles defeated Dragon in 8:06 by pinfall with The Styles Clash. AJ advances.
C-
Segment: In-Ring Interview
It's The Savage Sermon! Randy Savage wondered how Piper was doing, but what was really on his mind and the question he actually cared to ask - Where does Mick Foley get off? Where does he get off assuming Savage, The Second Coming Himself, had no business in wrestling? Foley doubled down, telling him to his face that he's no Jesus, but he'll see him and his Effect buddies really soon. Randy retaliated, landing the first punch, but Foley kept his ground and the two continued to brawl, spilling out of the ring and into the stands! Security eventually pulled them apart but not before Mick Foley gained a black eye.
B
Ron Killings vs. Curt Hennig (Lord of Lockdown Quarterfinals)
Crowd Reaction:Good
In-Ring Action: Decent
Curt Hennig defeated last year's Lord in 12:29 by pinfall with a quick cradle. Hennig advances.
D-
Segment: Retirement
There are numerous blue balloons hooked to the corners of the ring. Goldberg, Sting, and Bret Hart were already in the ring when Curt's theme hit. He came out, spoke his piece about this being a special night for him because after Lockdown he was hanging his boots up for good. He thanked the old guard that came to honor him, and the fans in Hawaii, sad that this was the first time TNA came to the region and it's his last. Got a big "Thank You Hennig" chant going. Hennig teared up before saying "No, thank you" and the segment went uninterrupted.
C+
Jeff Jarrett vs. Konnan (Lord of Lockdown Quarterfinals)
Crowd Reaction: Good
In-Ring Action: Good
Jarrett defeated Konnan in 12:40 by pinfall, illegally using the ropes for the advantage.
C-
Segment: Movie Parody
Kip James rested in a cell with a Break It 2 poster on the wall. BG James was a voiceover, narrating the scene like Morgan Freeman in Shawshank Redemption. "For what feels like years Kip waited for someone to challenge for his tag team gold. But no one came. That night, as the guards leaned against the walls in mid-drifting slumber, Kip decided to break out." Kip got up and moved the poster, exposing a tunnel. He crawled out of it. Next scene was Kip covered in mud, with BG hosing him down. They shrug, wondering where they can find opponents. Definitely not in prison.
C+
Samoa Joe vs. Sting (Lord of Lockdown Quarterfinals)
Crowd Reaction: Good
In-Ring Action: Good
Sting defeated Joe in 8:34 by pinfall with The Scorpion Death Drop.
D
Segment: Warming Up
Amy Dumas was in the back warming up. She lifted her Knockouts title onto her shoulders proudly and walked out of the locker room.
C
LuFisto vs. Amy Dumas (c)
Crowd Reaction: Good
In-Ring Action: Good
LuFisto did not defeat Dumas in 7:33 due to disqualifying herself when she lost her cool and struck Dumas across the head with her baton. Defense #2 of Dumas's TNA Knockouts Championship.
C+
Segment: Manager Interview
Percy Pringle stood by with Rena Mero and #1 Contender Raven. Rena addressed the elephant in the room - The Effect itself. She told Percy how Goldberg stood no chance in beating Raven. They are stronger than some beefcake. And does anyone really believe it's over if Raven couldn't get it done? There are things set in motion that nobody can prevent, and soon everyone in TNA will feel the effect. With that she walked off with a smirking Raven who stayed silent the entire time. Percy watched on with bugged eyes.
D+
Segment: Cage Dancing
The cage made an appearance! This one is special because it fits the theme of a prison with iron bars instead of the iron bars it had before. Cheerleader Melissa had school spirit yes she did, with a short skirt that had the Knockouts title airbrushed on her lady bits. Enjoy 2004 dear reader.
C+
AJ Styles vs. Curt Hennig (Lord of Lockdown Semi-Finals)
Crowd Reaction: Great
In-Ring Action: Good
Curt Hennig defeated AJ Styles in 8:51 by pinfall with a Perfect-Plex following interference by Randy Savage. Hennig appeared confused, but still advances to the Finals.
D+
Segment: Warming Up
Before squaring off with Jeff Jarrett, Sting grabbed a cameraman and aired his grievance with The Owner. He might be in TNA due to being a Worst Case Scenario sign, but he's gonna be here for a long time. Jarrett and his band of merry misfits better get used to it. He'll get justice for Piper because he carries a bat wherever he goes.
C+
Segment: Manager
For a month Father James Mitchell has extended his art, his managerial services. Nobody accepted, except one. Camera pans over to the person and it's...Angelina Love!? Uh, what? She's decked out in a black turtleneck and beret so maybe this won't be so bad...
D-
Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting (Lord of Lockdown Semi-Finals)
Crowd Reaction: Great
In-Ring Action: Good
Sting defeated Jarrett in 9:47 by pinfall with a Scorpion Death Drop following botched interference by Raven.
C
Segment: Couple
Juventud Guerrera was showing Mickie James how to extend her leg up against a wall, to perfect her Mick Kick. She tried, failed, and then Juvy demonstrated by taking her leg and placing it up onto his shoulder. She squealed in discomfort and glee. Velvet Sky walked in, saw the two in a compromising situation, and huffed out of the room.
C
Segment: Outside The Arena
Roddy Piper broadcasted from his hospital bed, showing that he could get out and walk. He's recovered, and if his assailant doesn't reveal themselves to the fans tonight then he'll expose them next week.
B
Curt Hennig vs. Sting (Lord of Lockdown Finals)
Crowd Reaction: Great
In-Ring Action: Good
Hennig defeated Sting (you read that right) in 8:21 with one foot on the ropes. He cheated? Curt Hennig wins The Lord of the Lockdown trophy!
D-
Segment: Hype
Abyss was outside the arena, staring at tiki mask from a kiosk. He picked one up, but when the vendor asked him if he'll pay for it he broke the piece in two. Abyss walked off as the cashier stood visibly shaking.
C-
Segment: Special Entrance
Goldberg came out to fire dancers twirling balls of fire around him.
B-
Raven vs. Goldberg (c)
Crowd Reaction: Great
In-Ring Action: Great
Goldberg defeated Raven in 9:04 with a Jackhammer in the center of the ring. Defense #2 of Goldberg's TNA World Championship.
C
Post-Match: Confrontation
The Effect flanked the entrance ramp as Goldberg watched on. Curt Hennig's theme hit, and he came out, toting a lead pipe in one hand, mask in the other. He smirked, dropped the items on the ramp, and made a beeline for the ring. Goldberg stood his ground. Curt lunged as if he was about to enter, but stopped himself. He backed off, still sporting the smirk. Goldberg beckoned him to get in. A recovering Raven low-blowed Goldberg and together Raven, Hennig, Savage, and Jarrett jumped the World Champion. Rena Mero watched on with a smile on her face to end the event.

Idk if I'll keep up w this with its vanilla CornellVerse wrestlers or not, but I hate just dropping this kind of game and the posts that come with it.
