I went with Gargano vs. Ciampa at TakeOver: New Orleans, though arguments can be made for just about every match on the card.
I do think the men's Royal Rumble match deserves a mention because of just how well the match was laid out. They kept the big names spaced out and nobody was particularly dominant, which made it seem more like anyone had a real chance. You didn't have someone eliminate 6, 8 or 10 guys, which is often the case, and that helped make for a very pleasant change for what might be the best Royal Rumble match of them all.
However, for me, Gargano vs. Ciampa I was the best overall match of the year. I just felt the match had anything that any remotely reasonable wrestling fan could want or ask for.

Ciampa vs Gargano had the 2 best matches of 2018, but New Orleans might be one of the best matches I've ever seen. Easy vote.
