I actually like McIntyre's new theme, but man, nothing beats the O.G.
Last week saw several shifts in the landscape on Monday night's. Drew McIntyre appeared to end Dean Ambrose's tenture with WWE. He also seems set on a collision course with Roman "Big Dog" Reigns, perhaps even at WrestleMania. Truly McIntyre is finally fulfilling the promise his inaugural run with company failed to live up to. And while the "Scottish Psychopath" moves onto bigger and better things, one of his more recent high profile adversaries, Kurt Angle, prepares to draw his own career to a close. Indeed, it was McIntyre who really kicked Angle onto the road to retirement when he submitted the Olympic Gold Medalist with his own ankle lock submission last November. Tonight, Angle announces his opponent for WrestleMania, his final opponent, his final match. Who will it be? Well, there is a fella who loves big matches and doesn't have anything lined up at Mania. He'll keep your soul straight, and brush your mouth like colgate...
That isn't all though as we continue the build toward WWE's biggest show of the year. Finn Balor has a mystery partner scheduled to team with him opposite Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush in tag team offence! Ronda Rousey will no doubt be calling out Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, Batista might be screaming at a company executive to give him what he wants (hey, worked last week!) and we continue building the tag team scenes for both men and women as we roll on the Road to WrestleMania!
Oh! And Brock Lesnar is here... I genuinely forgot that and had to slide in a quick edit!
