Vince McMahon's inspiration confirmed
Last week's SmackDown had about four good-to-great talking segments. Shane McMahon being fed up of helping others, AJ Styles/Randy Orton debating home ownership, Becky Lynch/Charlotte revisiting their greatest hits and finally, and most importantly, Big E., Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Vince McMahon providing an endless supply of empathy and emotion in the closing segment. Seriously, check it out below:
Preach E. Preach Woods. Preach Kofi.
Tonight, Kofi Kingston features an insurmountable task as he continues his journey en-route to a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania. Tonight he cases Sheamus, Cesaro, Rowan, Samoa Joe and Randy Orton in a gauntlet match that will open tonight's broadcast. If he can overcome this pentagon of pain, he will face Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at Metlife Stadium. Fail, and the dream dies. Kofi made a name for himself a month ago in a similar situation, but couldn't ultimately get the job done. Can he now, with no safety net, and no second chance, can he overcome impossible, insurmountable odds and become the number one contender to the most prestigious championship in all WWE? Time will tell, but by God I've not wanted anything more from my wrestling in a long, long time. Please Kofi! Please!
