I'm betting WWE is more concerned with hurting AEW than building stars, and losing Cole, Gargano, Ciampa, and Balor would kill NXT. They're still several indy wrestlers they could sign but not nearly as many as 4-5 years ago.
You can bet all you want. Balor belongs in NXT because he was floundering on the main roster. His mic skills were average. And the others I have no opinion on because these last 2 weeks are my first experience with NXT.
Mauro Ranello is gone. He and WWE "mutually and amicably agreed to part ways"
Sad that he is gone, but it is for the best for all parties probably, and hopefully everything is ok with him and his health.
That being said, I am guessing Vic Joseph is gonna replace him as the play-by-play man, which is good as Vic is pretty good, but he is also a more calming presence and Mauro, while awesome, can be a bit overwhelming.
Dang I loved Mauro. Best commentator since JR.

It’s Super Tuesday and they have a big time main event this time around. Tonight it’s a four way sixty minute Iron Man match for the vacant NXT Title. Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole and Finn Balor are facing off for the title and that could make for a pretty major moment. Let’s get to it.

You Knew It Was Coming
The screwy finish was just fine with me as it didn't take away from the match. Throughout the match, all four guys were basically painted as equals and that was the story that was consistently told. Balor scored a the first fall, then Gargano scored the 2nd by pinning Balor, then Cole scored the 3rd by pinning Gargano and Ciampa finally scored the 4th by pinning Cole. Throughout the match, it felt like anyone's game and I really dug it.
A big reason I didn't mind the finish was because we didn't get what I thought might happen: the rest of the Undisputed Era running interference for Cole. I'm really, really glad that didn't happen as I felt it would've taken away from the match itself, and it's something we've seen a little too much of at times past. Balor scoring another fall for himself and Cole tying it up with just a second or so left worked well and we get what will be a strong match between them next Tuesday. Again, I hope they don't bring out the UE to try to help Cole as the story will be to see which of the two, probably the two who're considered the greatest NXT Champions, really is "the greatest" NXT Champion.

I?ve only watched NXT twice now, and I know it doesn?t seem to matter much lately, but aren?t both these guys heels?
